nancy i'm in canada too .. but the number is based out of IL .. and when i reversed looked up it, the number can't be found .. **sigh
Warranty about to expire on recently purchased vehicle - blah blah blah .. while we did just buy a car, it's a 94 cavalier and only paid $250 for the car .. we didn't get a warranty with this car .. why would we warranty it???
So much for the government "no call service"
It only handles calls from within the country.
So now Canada calls the US and the US calls Canada.
No way of stoping the calls?
Called me at work and had automated machine, pressed 0 to talk to a rep. Man came on the phone and I asked me for my VIN # from my vehicle because my warranty is running out. And I said can I contact you from home instead of from work and they hung up. Good service!
I got second warrant that my vehicle warranty is expired.Problem is that I do not have any vehicle :-)
This is the 2nd time I've received a call from this company now. I live in Canada. I first get a automated voice message about how my vehicle warranty is running out soon and this is my last chance to renew my warranty. There is no option for opting for the "do not call list" only "hit 1 to speak to an operator". So I hit 1 the first time and informed the person that I didn't even own a car so please do not call me again.
I got the 2nd call today. Again pushed 1. The minute the girl finished her first spiel, I politely said "Look Miss, I'm going to say this one more time." and she immediately hung up on me!
These spammers called us too
These 'tards don't give up. Every day it's a different number, but the CLID name is the same as the CLID number (instead of "Unknown" or "Out of Area". Probably the same scammers calling from whocalled.us although this one isn't through Digitcom.
