we are collecting for the Pa state Police for their fallen troopers.since i know of no such charity i told him to hang up and i am reporting him to the State Police.
Statewide appeal (as I now know) has been calling our house for the past three weeks on a daily basis. When I answer, they ask for my wife. When I respond that she's not available they immediately hang up. Recurrent problem with same behavior.
Today I called number back and after 15 rings an answering machine picked up and I left message to remove us from their list effective immediately.
