Who Called Us

I just got a call from this number and upon returning the call, it gave me an automated message saying that the number could not be reached.

I see this number on caller id. I never pick it up and by the comments it is a scam.

2-3 times a day at work. Never leave a message. Never speak. It's driving me crazy.

Calls at 9:00 am
rings two or three times
Think it college loan stuff.

Call everyday same time, dead air if I pick up, do not leave a message if I do not.

Do not call them back. I have gone to the web site and put in a fake application to see what they do. They collect your SSN, Driver's License, and more, which means this is nothing but an IDENTITY THEFT ring.

calls every day for months. thanks to danny for the address. please file complaints with BBB, etc. they are relentless!

They called just this minute. repeated calls.

I just changed phone services and now all of a sudden these guys are calling me every day, same time every day. I screen always so I haven't picked up, but now that I know they're clearly a scam, I'll tell them that by CA law they have to remove me permanently from their Call List. If they call again, I'll be sending a letter to the CA and FL Attorneys General, with a cc to whatever address they provide me. I can't stand phone scams!

They keep calling me even though I have asked them to take me off their list. They are a student loan consolidator. I am not even out of school yet and they keep calling.

Also receiving this call everyday at the same time. Caller ID says Business Finance. I tried calling it back. Either busy or no answer. I answered the call once time and female asked for my son, who has sallie mae loans in good standing. After reading the comments on this site I assume it was a loan consolidation scam.... I just answer the call when I can and keep the call online as long as they want to wait.....

I think that this is a fraud. The person knew I wasn't interested and try to jump quick to confirming my address. She asked if I consolidated my loans she has my address and she said ahe could check to see if I really consolidated my loans. They are thieves!!!!!!!!!!!

They call all the time, over and over sometimes 8 - 12 times a day, istn't there anything I can do to make them stop!!!!??

I spoke to the company in Tampa, they are a loan consolidation firm. They have been calling my business for 6 months 2-3 times a day looking for a Tiffay Baldini who has not paid her bills for quite some time. They keep telling me they are taking the number off their list for six months, they said I need to send a letter to their attorney to get it recitfied. I have now sent it to the AZ Attorney General.

This number has been calling twice a day for weeks.

I just recieved a call from this message they left a message with a very thick accent like from india... he said. something and then stopped then said.. Um okay. I called back Busy?

ok everyone, my wife has had the same number call her everyday for the past few months. She was able to get website. afsedu.com. We are going to contact them and inform them we are involving the law. Its the only way to make them stop.

They call me everyday too at the exact same time. I finally answered it one day b/c the number won't let you call it back, and it is something about student loans. They say they work for the government, but I've checked it out and they don't. They basically want to help people refinance...I wouldn't do it though...I think they're bogus!

Just got a new phone -- this number calls me every day for 2 weeks, but doesn't leave a message. When i try to call the number back -- it either hangs up or rings to a busy signal.

Female associate of a student loan consolidator asking by name for me using my home #. Did not offer business name.

only the number shows on caller I.D. I never answer and don't have an answer machine because of these kind of calls. I hope all of you are writing letters to your congress person.

is this a scam to bill our phones on the call back?

They called at an old phone number which now belongs to a friend, and used my married name, which I have not gone by in years. Call cannot be returned.

I returned the call and received an automated response: "The number you have reached is not in service. This is a recording."

They call quite often, ask to speak to me, and when i say "this is" the person says "hello?" and then hangs up....pretty sure its the same lady every time.

I get the same call everyday, same time.
