- Ask the unwanted caller to stop calling and put you on their do not call list (they are legally required to comply).
- If your number is registered with the National Do Not Call Registry you can file a complaint with the FTC.

Not saying any body does this though it is a way to herd people like cattle to your new web site. Im sure this doesn't make alot of people happy that profit from such foolishness.
Find a catchy name for a number lookup website, set it up with cookie trackers, ads to stop calls , ad clicks generate a good return, now that you've looked up the number they now have your IP Adress and so forth which they can target your email and now just let your robo caller go.
Just buy a robo caller and call every sequence of numbers because the Do Not Call registry doesn't take effect until 30 days or so after you sign up by then millions of numbers can be called.
Now sit back and watch the money roll in.

2nd day of receiving a call that on caller ID says SECURITY - we're swamped with political and these kinds of calls. I check caller ID and pick up and HANG UP without responding verbally to the calls.
Telemarketer call from Indiana about a home security system. Don't live anywhere near Indiana and am on the DO NOT CALL list for whatever good that is anymore. People still keep calling my cell!!!!!!

Guess who makes all the money from everyone looking up rouge phone numbers from robot callers. The more you look them up the more calls you will get

Now these ass holes are calling my cell phone!!!! Is there no privacy? The government does NOTHING the phone company does NOTHING and we pay for it all. I wish the government would allow the phone companies to impose fines and penalties on these security scam peoplw. Fine them and if they don't pay enlist the multitude of scam collection agency scum to harass them at all hours. Maybe we could kill two birds with one small piece of legislation. LMFAO, golly that just might work.
