How do I stop them from calling?
- Ask the unwanted caller to stop calling and put you on their do not call list (they are legally required to comply).
- If your number is registered with the National Do Not Call Registry you can file a complaint with the
FTC. - Block them with a call blocker:
Uniden DECT1288 blocks up to 20 numbers, plus Private and Unknown, with the reject tone, without ringing the phone.
Panasonic KX-TG106 blocks up to 30 numbers, plus all unidentified callers, with a busy tone, after the phone rings once.
JF Teck Caller ID with Ring Controller blocks up to 70 numbers, and can be set to always allow up to 100 to ring through.

As soon as I answered a recording was played. Something about warranty so I immediately hung up. Why waste your time when you know there are these irritating calls about "your warranty has expired" and you know it's all a scam. BTW, my number is registered in the National Do Not Call Registry. So whoever is calling can go to h---.
Well this is 1 of the 25 random numbers that have been calling me for the past month and a half. I never pick up, and usually only hear a sort of mechanical buzzing sound twice in the message they leave. However they did leave me an automated message the other day, but the machine must have thought I had picked up because half of the message was cut off. I only caught something about "this is REAL insurance". Anyhow, I have reported every number on this site, and I'm about to head over to the FCC to let them know, especially since this seems to be a problem for more than just me. If I ever do get them on the phone, I am going to have some fun at their expense because this has gotten passed the point of annoying. These people are calling me at least every other day, and sometimes twice a day and all from disconnected numbers - that sounds illegal to me!

called my cell. I started recieving these cell phone telemarketers after filling out an information sheet at a Harley Davidson dealership in Tn. Maybe just a coincidence? Maybe not?
This company called my cellphone. The woman said they are Warranty Service Company and that they handle warranty info for several warranty companies. I told her that this cellphone number is in the National Do Not Call Registry and that I am filing a complaint with the National Do Not Call Registry, which I did a few moments ago. I suggest that others on this site do the same.
