I told them that they were calling the home of a 96 year old man and they were to stop calling. I instructed them to take him off of their calling list and their mailing list. I told them he had no business with Discover and he was to be removed from their list. The man from Discover refused to do that and repeatedly told me that they would call again and they would could not take him off of their list. The man from Discover insisted that he needed to tell the 96 year "what we did."

called me about 20 times a day, I usually do not answer numbers I do not know. finally answered, told them 3 times so far I do not know a Kara, but they gave me the person's first and last name as well as address. I already know she has a discover card, if they call back I'm going to ask for her social security number since they are so willing to give out people's information. How do I get these people to stop calling for someone I do not know. and this has been my phone number for 3 years, so maybe they should have verified the number on the credit application before issuing a card.

discover calls here at least 20 times a day. first call is at exactly 8am...with that call they leave a message. the rest of the day its nothing but hang ups once the machine answers. told them a dozen times my ex boyfriend no longer lives with me. insists that i give him someone's number that does know how to get ahold of him. when i say no he asks why....uhhh because i just wont give you his family's phone numbers so you can harass them 20 times a day. said he will keep calling till i give him an updated phone number. plus im being recorded the entire time without being notified or asked for permission to do this.

This company repeatedly calls for someone who doesn't live here with the same last name. They call multiple times per day, most of which we do not answer. We plan on reporting their illegal behavior to the Federal Trade Commission. You can do this online. They are violating federal laws by calling us about someone else's debts.
Discove Card calling for someone I do not know - they claim person's name is associated with my phone number. I am a Discover Card member but I cannot get them to stop calling for this other person.

A message saying "please hold for an important message" repeated until someone came on the line then hung up after they realized it was a machine. I have never had a discover card before.
If you have a relative that put you down as a family member living near you and they have a collection against them, Discover will call you!!! Call 801-902-2092 and tell them that you keep getting hung up on. They will ask if "Jane Doe" is a friend or relative. Reply with a no and you will be removed from their call list.

Keeps asking for someone who doesn't live here but keeps calling back.
they call me all the time, because my ex-gf put my # down as a 2nd contact while we were together...they call at least once a week even though they hang up whenever I answer.

Got message to call 800-767-1134 with no other info.
After recieving 2 calls I called back. They asked for card number and I wouldn't give it out even though they said it was Discover. After discussion, I told them they need to change their security features to announce who they are. Even the guy said he wouldn't give his own info out over the phone like that. Doubt it will do any good! Good idea for identity theft scheme huh?
Appears to be Discover Card. Hangs up half the time the answering machine picks up. Calls multiple times a day. Have not had a Discover Card in 5 years.
Its discover card collection service. Call them and tell them its not you, somebody probably gave them your number and they call like 10 times a day
