Number only showed up. Get calls at all hours of the day. When answered, a recording starts that says "please hold for an important message" and plays over and over again. No live person; no message.

Do not use this phone number to call back Discover Card. Call Discover using the number on the back of your card. Never give out information to someone just cause they say they are with your credit card company.

Getting fed up with numerous annoying calls from this number at all hours of the day, night & even on Sunday.

They call at all hours, don't say who they are with, when they leave a message. Asks inappropriate questions with regards to person they are looking for. Calls 6-10 times a day. Rentless!!!

They say they're calling regarding a "personal business matter." I'm not calling back.

Received 9 calls within 2 hours on home phone and 2 cell #'s!

They started calling at 8:00 am, calling 7 times before 2:00. Would not leave a message. When I answered the phone they asked for someone who does not live at this number, got hostile when I said so, and told them NOT to call here again, and then STILL called back two more times. Not sure if this IS Discover, or an independant collection agency as the caller ID says unknown caller. Regardless, this is harassment and only matters in reporting if it's a collection agency as then they violate the FTCA. Am going to Discover Web site to tell them that if I receive ANY more calls I am going to report it to the ATT Gen

every two hours i am getting a call onto my cell phone from discover. i hate picking up the phone and being told to hold for an important message, YOU CALLED ME.

Started getting this call the other day. Says unknown name. Like all the other crank calls I get from 800 numbers I let it ring twice and pickup then hang up without answering. I was getting calls from from Africa with and 800 number did the same thing and eventually they get the message and stop calling.

We've never even had a Discover card and now I am sure I will never get one.

They are discover card fakes! Beware DO NOT give any routing or account number out...I told him to shove it up their asses...!!

Called and asked for my cell #, told my son they were a friends of mine

Called several times no person available to talk to just leaves a number. My Discover card had a balance of 12.95 and I had not had any charges for some time. Guess they were getting antsy over the balance.

Showed missed call on cell phone - no message left and if it is Discover Card - we don't have one.

It was Discover Card - however, just to be safe, I called the number on the back of my card to make sure it was legitimate (It was)

persistant; calls over and over, one after another.

Calls CONSTANTLY! No name on caller i.d. I dont answer because we dont give out that number- it is only for our DSL. People or businesses who know me dont use it.

Called my cell phone every 1 hour or so throughout my work day. Did not answer as unaware of #. Did call on Holiday at home # and informed that bill was paid. Caller ?'d how and requested bank info. Did not give. Hung up on caller. Reports was from Discover but unable to tell me which of my discover cards it was about.

Discover card received a payment of 60,00 this month and still calling my house TODay,saturday at8;32 am.
I bet they want to harassed my husband blind and mentally ill.
i have a letter here that they received A payment of my husband in 6-01-07
of 60,00.

Many annoying phone calls for someone who doesn't even live here. They dont leave a message on the machine.

Number showed up - after numerous calls it finally said Discover Financial. Interesting thing is that I don't owe them anything - when I called to complain I was basically told their system couldn't be calling me! Ugghhh---computer pergatory

Told me to hold for an important message but I hung up.

Called at 8 am for person who has never lived here. Yesterday had call from 800 number for person except they identified themselves as Discover Card.

Call Endlessly on my NEW TRACFONE for goodness sakes!

Call 10 to 12 times A day, saturday and Sunday Wants to save me $450.00

Yep, it's Discover. You are likely behind on your bill, i know i am and that is why they are calling. Jerks will not work w/you. Funny how other cr.card companies will--well they are the ones getting my money then!

Over 2 dozen calls. They never answer. Some calls at 8 AM on a weekend. They have now also started calling my cell phone.
At home there is never anyone on the other line. On the cell phone the message was a request to hold for an important message (that just kept repeating).
I don't have a discover card and don't use Discover financial services.

It is Discover Card. I missed a payment. They couldn't wait for my next electronic payment and wanted me to pay via electronic check.

Discover. Called three times in one day, did not leave a returning message.

I answer and it says "Please call ...." and gives me a number. If you want to talk to me, CALL ME.

And I'm not late on my payments either - I'll have to give Discover a call and see what's going on.

5x a day, plus 2x today@work. yelled at them DO NOT CALL MY JOB! or else i'd file a c&d. made a pymt arrangement and plan to dmp.

When agent was pressed for the full legal name of the business, (had to ask several times) nam given was Discover Financial Services Inc. Asked for physical address several times and was not given the address. After rep was informed the person they were looking for was not at this number, they continued to call back repeatedly.

They call all the time. If they get the answering machine they don't leave a message. If I pick up the phone they ask me inappropriate questions. They ask about who I am, ask for cell phone and WORK numbers and refuse to leave a message or say what company they are. They call numerous times a day no matter what time I say to call back. They are very rude! I'm losing my patience!

Second time I've been called today. Call is disconnected when I answer.

Third call received today like this. This time a recording asked me to "Please hold for an important message" It repeated it several times. Meanwhile I put it on speaker and mute. Nothing happened for a little while and no one announced themselves. They hung up.

Called 5 times in 4 hours. On the 4th attempt, I held on just to see. Got the same recording everyone talks about. Claimed to be Discover. I wouldn't give my account number and they "couldn't find me in their system". However, THEY called saying I was late. I wasn't. They have a thing going. Most people have a Discover card and most people get behind. So, they call with this hoping you'll bite and give them the account info. If it is Discover calling you, trust me, they know the info.

Made a mistake in listing this number. The caller id showed Utah not Tom Flanagan.

More than half of discover card's staff must be those annoying bill collectors. They call day and night, on the house phone on the cell phone, at work, after hours, Sunday to Saturday!

Discover. Call at least 4 times per day. Called 10 times Saturday starting at 8am. Was short $5 on my payment. They called saying they received no payment at all and wanted me to do full payment over phone, I refused. Talked to them last week and again last night re: $5 and they called 4 times today! Am planning to transfer balance and close account- can't handle harrassment anymore.

I got 16 calls from this number with no message left. The calls came in morning night and weekends. Even after I paid my bill this caller keeps ringing. I called the number back and it's Discover and tells you to hold for the next representative. I hung up.

this number showed up on my caller id for 2 days in a row. the first day was 2x. the 2nd day was 5x!! a msg on my machine says it's about my credit card. i don't have a credit card with this company and a legit company is prohibited from leaving a message like that.

Receives Calls from this number up to 10- 15x daily beginning at 8:30 AM up to about 9:00 PM. Company likely uses Mosiax Predictive Dialing Technology. The company is related to Discover Card and purchased information sold from another company in an attempt to solicit, control and manage customer interactions via systemic processes to enhance sales. The company is located in Kearns, UT.

Hold for an important message. They call me they better be ready to speak, not put me on hold!

you don't call me and put me on hold espically from an unknown number. I do not play those games.

Have ringmaster on line-call first number, then it changes to 2nd number without a break. Starts at 8am and cont nearly every hour until 9pm. At first answered, was told to hang on for message, which was repeated, without any pickup. Now ignore calls. Have a Discover card, and have been paying it, so if this is them, have no idea why they are calling 7 days a week! Totally rude!!!

They keep calling at all times of day. It is annoying to say the least. We do not answer the phone. We do not want to share any information with them, even our voice on the phone!!!!

i don't own any Discover credit card or other type of credit card...
