Who Called Us

Got a call today from 801-852-8702..they left a message..I could NOT even understand what the guy was saying..he kept saying "Get awakening..get awakening pills..will give you energy" The rest was just mumbling like he had rocks in his mouth. He kept saying "um..um..um" some kind of BS pills ...
Im on the DNC list!! SCAM!!!!

Dumb woman kept saying hello over and over on the answering machine.

Called me for two weeks. 2 to 3 times a day. Leave no message. Unknown on caller ID

CALLED STATED MY NAME WITH NO OTHER MSG

Traveling in Europe - call came in on my Global Mobile. Would have cost me $1.50/min to answer - after seeing this - glad I didn't. I have put this on my ignore list on my phone so it will hang up as soon as it sees the number.

The first call I got was on Jul 13th.
The last call (so far) was on Jul 19th.
I received a total of 17 calls within that time period.
I never answer and they never leave a message.

they called twice and when they called the second time I answered the phone I said Hello Hello Hello and they did not say anything and hung up on me and so that is the last time they called!

Called me @ work around9:22 am CDT... I did not answer, and, there was no message left... Suxx to be them.

The call my cell phone a lot. Phone just says 'Provo, UT'.

This number keeps calling my cellphone about 3 time a week. Did not leave any messages.

they just called 10:35 a.m 4/19 don't know the number so i did'nt pick up the phone , they left no message.

No message just one call as "unknown" the next with this 801 852 8702 number.

I had a missed call from this #, no message.

These donut-holes keep calling but my Telezapper fools their system into hanging up without leaving a message.

Got a second call today so I just looked up EWI and called 800-371-9876. They asked for my name (I gave them my first name) and he confirmed that my name did match the number they had on file for the phone number I was calling from (...interesting). Said they would remove me from their list within 24 hours. I'll update the post if it is not done.

Asked for me by name but when told unavailible and asked to take message, refused and hung up

As far as I am concerned, any caller who has an unidentified or anonymous label on caller ID and never leaves a message is still behaving like a spam or nuisance caller, regardless of whether or not I ever had a "business relationship" with them. So they can kiss their chances of the phone being answered on my end goodbye.

Did a trace on this number.. Is assocuated with a tele-marketing firm..
can be disabled utilizing digital "busy" parameters per tone pulse..

These guys don't give up. Today (10-6-09) I received another call from EWI (that went into my message box)so I don't know exactly what they want. I had never heard from this company before I took a chance on the "Russ Dahlby Get Rich Quick " pitch about 1 year ago (what a mistake that was)! My best guess is that Russ must have sold my number to EWI.

Thanks to JT. I didn't know that the "National Do Not Call" service was having trouble. I hope they can fix it!!

For all those that keep mentioning the do not call list. This service flopped and needs to be rebuilt. The CRTC sells this list to marketing agencies around the world so that they know NOT to call these numbers. In actuality, these companies or con artists are using the list to call people because now they know the numbers are active numbers. They no longer require a dialer to find active numbers from anywhere. The only advice that can be given is to continue to report these calls to the appropriate government agency for your region.

EWI (Enlighten Wealth Institute) out of UTAH

this number called me but I did not answer it.

After receiving calls for two weeks without messages I called the number back. No one ever answers. The voicemail says all agents are busy with other students, but doesn't name the suposed school.

When I answered they asked to speak to "Gwen". I said there is nobody here with that name and said goodbye...

It's Alltel trying to get you to make a payment

Not sure who they are or what they tout, but I told them to take me off what ever list I was on.
