This is so annoying; 5 times so far I've gotten this number. If I get it again, I usually pick up the phone and not say anything to them but PLEASE STOP CALLING MY NUMBER then I hang up... So far so good :)
I've recently began getting calls from this number (801-765-5976). I never answer, but the repeated calls are annoying. Googled the number to discover it's a home security company headquartered in Utah (APX Alarm). My elderly father received repeated calls from a home security system in Utah and finally bought ($50/month) just to stop the calls. It's probably the same company. At age 83, he no longer handles stress or pressure very well. Sad they would prey on old people.
No response, when call is picked up. Attempted to call number back and received notification that number can not be completed as dialed.

Yeah, I've been getting calls from this number for a couple of weeks now. They call at all hours of the day and up to that 9:00 cutoff time. But they difinately call starting at 8:00AM, I've already received at least two this morning. I stopped answering these sorts fo calls long ago, but my wife answered and it was just silence. Not behind on anything, so I'm not sure what else they are harassing me about. We shouldn't have to live in a world where people get harassed by robo calls as a regular part of life, its just degrading.
BANK OF AMERICA CREDIT COLLECTION! In my Google research I've linked this number also with "credit collection." I have received 120+ calls in two weeks! Thank goodness I give out a "junk" phone number that goes to a voicemail box only (like a spam email account) to businesses!! I was one month behind in one credit card (by mistake--because my bank changed my account number), but I paid it today. Perhaps I will see these calls stop now? The credit card is with Bank of America. and I've never been late with a payment before. Not once. The state of our economy--harass every customer, even the good ones. Sigh.

As far as what to do with this type of sales call is very simple & works after a couple of times.
Either yell like a maniac at the top of your lungs (aaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhh) or blow a whistle into the phone. A couple of times of this and they will stop calling. This is a tactic that has worked for oever 30 years starting with my grandmother. With regards to the person on the other end, they are well aware that it's illegal. I have no sympathy for the person on the other end with this type of unwanted & continual sales harrassment. I

I too have been getting these calls. Got one this morning which is Sunday and plan to report them to the Gov. Do Not Call site. It appears from what I have read below from others that telling them not to call and ask they remove your number from their call list is not enough, perhaps reporting them will change that. I also, would recommend placing them on your block list, if applicable. Hopefully one of these steps will put an end to their calling. Good Luck to all!
Beware! - this so-called ‘APX Security’ (801-765-5976) is relentless in their repeated calling & ultra-annoying (esp since i’ve already asked them 3x to please Remove me from all their databases). If you have call-blocker, use it. i've been registered on DoNotCall.gov for ages & always re-register every 3 years or so, plus None of my friends/family would ever give out my# without permission, so this is total SCAM.. not only annoying but possibly illegal too, since they’re ignoring the DoNotCall list.. also these jerks should pay me back for my wasted cell phone minutes!!!

We have received multiple calls from this same number over the past month. Despite my husband telling them to remove our number from their files and to not call us again, they continue to call. We want them to stop calling us!
i used an *67 number and called them back they said something about sucurity and i don't no y i dont even own a house so y would they want me to buy something like that even when i don't answer they go to my voicemail and my voice on it doesn't even sound like im over 18 so they should just stop calling now its getting to crazy!

I got calls from this number at least 3 times today the last time at 815pm tonight and I could hear alot of background noise and Iasked who was calling finally a male voice mumbled a name and said he was calling from apex alarms. At that ppoint I told him to stop calling here, to take us off whatever list they had us on because I didn't know how they got my name and number but to take us off of it and to stop calling my number. I also informed him that I had filed a complaint due to there constant calls and the fact that won't stop calling here at all hours ofthe day or night.
just got call at 8:35pm Texas time from this number. No one said anything, but caller id showed that the call was from Orem, Ut. This is the 3rd or 4th call today. I signed up for that DO NOT CALL REGISTRY, but yet the calls just keep coming.

Just google "apx alarms complaints" or something similar to see what some of this company's customers have to say about them. I am sure I will stay away from APX alarm.

801 765 5976 this is from APEX Alarm company saying they are selling a special in your area (wherever your area is of course) and that they system is from Honeywell..... anyway the system is for HOME-OWNERS only, so if you want to get rid of them quickly, tell them you are in a rental unit, or you rent and can't give out the owners name.
801- 765- 5976 ...shows up on Caller ID as APX ALARM ... never leaves a message.... in my business we are REQUIRED to leave a message... if what you are selling is worth ANYTHING - then leaving a message makes sense. Otherwise you're selling crap.

They call most every day, at different times of the day. I never answer the phone if I don't know who it is, and they hang up half way through the answering machine message without leaving any message. Ever....It is really annoying to have them keep on calling.
This number has called my cell several times a day, daily for the past several weeks. It is at all times of the day, even into the night. At first, there is silence on the line, like its computer generated. Then a man (young male) comes on the line, marketing for Apex Alarms. I told him that I have a system already, and that I am on the do not call list, and to take me off the caling list. He grunted or something at me and hung up. I have reported them to the DNC registry several times.
