called me several times each time i answered no one there every time i called number back from caller id and received message it was westernwatts doing a survey and to visit their site on the web. i have my number listed with the national do not call and continue to receive irretating calls like this

This may be from "First (or 1st) Media Services, Orem, Utah. I got a 15 minute "survey" 5/24/10 re Florida Governor's Republican candidates from them.

As for theory - you have to find it yourself. As for practice - maybe I could give some help. I found an interesting program on one of the thematic forum recently. It searches for combination automatically. Nice one, though poor in interface.
Program is based on Martingale system with the corrected algorithm. It`s based on searching and waiting a series of results («red or black» usually). But this one I got is for «head or tail».
There were discussions «pro and against» this soft, but I downloaded it and explored for about half an hour and left it in automatic mode till morning. What I found in the morning was 250WM.
But use this soft wisely, admins in casinos do not welcome these things.

i work for this company... and yes we call you alot.

we are NOT covered by the federal DO NOT CALL law since this law is only for the TeleMarketing firms (those sales calls you usually get) and since WE at WesternWats are doing surveys and not making calls that asks money or donation... all your efforts of filing a complain would be worthless. So better take the surveys, and look at its bright side... You help companies make and do good products and services for you (demanding consumers) and even help the government figure out issues and create agenda to serve the nation well... YES!!! even the government pay us to call you!!!

Call them and speak to a live representative, they will remove your number (at least they did with mine). Leaving a voice message or emailing them does not work.

Never give your number out to Kinkos! I don't know where else pays this company to issue this type of "surveying", but obviously they do not respect anyone's privacy.

This is the worst form of spam for a business to receive. it takes away from actual business calls and wastes time STOP CALLING

Like many of you, we have seen far too many calls from these guys.

The solution is very simple...westernwats.com is displaying the truste.org logo.

Since it obvious that westernwats.com is a scam company that does not respect do not call lists, or any one's right to privacy, or the fact that calling cell phones and toll free numbers costs the people that DO NOT want to hear from them. They are clearly in violation of the membership in the truste.org privacy based program.

That said, if all you folks do as we have done and file complaints with truste.org and the FTC and FCC, then soon, this company will be out of the game, and all of us will be able to enjoy the peace we deserve and stop paying to receive their unlawful calls.

Western Wats called my mother. She said they called her and asked her who won the VP Debate. She told them Biden. And then they asked her if she knew that "Mark Udall voted against the 850 Billion dollar bailout?" Mark Udall is a Democratic Congressman who is running for Senate here. Westernwats is a data company contracted by the RNC. I can't really say for sure that this was a "push poll" or just information for the RNC. for the third time I have received a call after 9:30....9:47 to be precise. I thought this was against the law......I answered the phone, for the third time, and as with the other two calls on other dates, they said absolutely nothing. This number calls two to three times a day. I don't pick up because I know it's an unwelcome call. Our numbers are listed on DNC which, to us, means we don't want to be solicited for surveys or money from anyone. Following that, 877-795-2279 calls. That's "police" or "fireman" with their hands out.

I called it back to complain as I am on the Do Not Call List, but that # just leads to machine msg of Western Wats research/marketing company -- you cannot reach a person. To get more information re: Target Consulting, or to complain, call 703-565-8505 (Target Consulting). The employee there (Trevor) told me they have hired Western Wats to do phone surveys, and received the phone list from the Republican National Committee, and must, if asked, let the person called know they have received support for the survey from the Republican Natl Cte. I was told since they received the registered voter phone list from the Republican Natl Committee they do not have to abide by the Do Not Call List. They have instructions how to opt out of their calls on the website westernwats.com

Received call in NH today, they identified themselves as Target Consulting. I hung up as clearly a marketer, but *69 revealed the 801-623-4621 number.

I asked them not to call, but their persistent. Then someone else calls you.

A recorded message from Virgin Mobile reminding me to use the auto top-up option before my phone number expired. Would have been a nice reminder, however I had been in contact with them for weeks by phone and email trying to explain the auto top-up feature wasn't working. Customer service at its finest.

Western Watts Research Center. They conduct surveys for various businesses to "ensure customer needs are being met." Problem is, they wanted me to provide feedback about a company I've never done business with.

Female caller spoke with heavy foreign accent. Wanted to talk to a female in the house, and ask a few questions. Identified her company as "Public Strategies" or "Public Strategy." Was not forthcoming about the purpose of the call beyond asking a "few questions." I said "no thank you" and hung up.

They keep callilng My cell phone and I've had them leave a message - some "credit card rewards" program or something stupid like that. I called them and told them to remove My number but they keep calling! They need to be reported and have their license or whatever pulled...!

Dear SOMEONE AMUSED: I have been asking "politely" for over TWO YEARS to be taken off the list. TWO YEARS of calls from these people 3 and 4 times a day....they call as I'm walking in the door and I drop everything in case it's my kids. They wake me up as early as 6:30 a.m. They call on Sunday. Harris Interactive to do a survey. She wouldn't tell me what the survey was about so I hung up. They have called several times over the past few days, so I will block them.

The call came from a data collection company called Western Wats. westernwats.com. Under their "contact Us" tab is the following number: 801.373.7735 I called it and got the voice mail of a pleasant-sounding woman who instructed me to leave my number if I wished to be removed from their "internal" call list. I only left my number and requested I be removed.

First time I've gotten a call from them. Caller ID showed "Provo, UT". Since I don't know anybody there, I didn't pick up. They left no message.

says they are TNS a survey company out of TN. Asking questions about if I own a computer, digital camera, or color copier. Scammers?

I actually was dumb enough to take the survey. It is a REALLY long survey. I thought this was Comcast and I was hoping to get something for taking this dumb survery -- it's full of questions like "on a scale of 1-10 how was your Comcast install" and crap. On a scale of 1-10 these people get a shutup!

It is a survey company called Westernwats.com (yes, that's ONE t, not two).

They do surveys and apparently 'push pols' as they have a 'tagged on defensive statement' about push pols. They must have made the news back in November 07. They just sloppily tagged their denial of the practice right on their page.

I have no idea why they are calling me. Especially on a cell phone where I have to pay for the minutes.

Note: I did call the number back (it was a hang up because their computer apparently dialed me before they were ready to talk to me. So it just hung up when I answered too soon. Sorry to inconvenience you Western Wats!!!). After calling a couple times I did get a recorded message with the company name and an explanation of how convenient it was for me to talk back to companies through this survey and let them know what I think.

I'm not sure what company is calling, but here's my message. It's rule, if not illegal, to call my number and then have your computer terminate the call if you're not ready for me. You shouldn't call anyway, but if you do, you might keep in mind it is YOUR EMPLOYEE who should wait for me to answer teh phone.

Someday we'll get a public with the brains to kill some political fortuntes if the politicians don't get off their dead arses and put some laws in place to stop the machines from calling us.

Rec'd ph call from Gretchen Davis, purportedly with Telephony Magazine. I said "hold it, this sounds like a junk marketing phone call, not interested, remove us off your junk call list, got it, goodbye!" on 3/28/08, at 8:45 am, 31 secs.

Just a note for everyone who keeps complaining about being on the "do not call list" - you can complain all you want, but they are not breaking the law. The do not call list applies specifically to telemarketers who are SELLING something. These market research companies (Western Wats, BRG, etc.) do not fall into that category and so are not stopped. If you want them to stop calling you, just not answering won't be very effective. They'll just call back. If you want the calls to stop, I suggest politely answering the phone and asking to have your number added to their company's no-call list. Done and done. No more calls. And please, don't be rude. I once took a job at one of those places when I was desperate and couldn't get another job. Rude people suck. Just imagine being on the other end of the line.

Received a call from this number 801-623-4621 at 7:34 (PST) and no message was left. I have a couple friends in UT but the number didnt look familiar. Only ONE person has my phone number!!! So I went online to look it up and of course you have to pay to get the info about the number. Well, I did....like an idiot and paid $14.95 to get the info...then I found this site the next day...what a waste of money...should have checked here first....A $14.95 learning lesson....sigh

I've called my cell phone provider after one of the additional lines on my cell phone account received a call from this number and have found out that this number is from Western Watts which is a surveying company for T-Mobile. I had recently added 3 new lines to my account and they were calling these lines possibly to see how the number's owner's experience was within the store, however they were not the ones who went to the store and got the line. I recommend that if you have recently changed your cell phone plan and they are calling you directly after, that you try calling your provider to see if perhaps this company is contracted by your provider.

When I get more than one call from the same number and I do not recognize the number. . .I answer my phone
"____(insert name here)____ Police Department, how can I assist you?" They will either hang up or they will ask for someone. That is when I start asking a lot of quick question, Who is Calling, what is the company name, what is the address, what is the phone number, name of the person I am talking to, etc. I then state that this line has been tapped due to an investigation for telephone harrassment and the information will be used for prosecution. It is amazing how quickly the calls stop.

Just a warning. . .I am not sure doing this is legal, but then again I figure: 1. These asshole companies do not have to follow the law, so why should I and 2. It is my phone, I pay for it and I can answer it anyway that I want!!

Have had the same cell number for 8 years. Switched to T-Mobile 3 days ago, and now I am getting the calls. I reported them to the Do Not Call list, which I am on, as well as sent them an email regarding contacting me via my cell phone number,a s cell phones are NOT public info.

Finally they picked up when I answered and started telling me how they were a marketing company. They had called earlier today and not picked up when I answered the phone. When they called, it woke my daughter. Anyway, I told them to never call here again and she was all "we're not selling you anything" and I told her not to call back. We'll see if she does.

This number has appeared on my caller id three times, and frankly I'm getting a little sick of seeing it. I have even called them back, and then there is an operator that sayd 007t.

"Hello, I am calling from the Loyaltly Research Center and we're doing a survey for your local grocery store, are you willing to participate?" This was from call #3. Call #1 was a hang-up. Calls #2 and 4 asked specifically for my husband by name. And call #5 was an odd sounding beep. They will continue to get my answering machine, so give up.

This is another number of CCI Communications. They are a survey company, and survey companies are EXEMPT from the 'Do Not Call' listings.

Surprisingly, a human left a brief and unclear message on our answering machine (I think our machine confused the auto-dialer into thinking that someone had picked up). Message said something about a survey of unknown topic. She used my name but in a very old manner, one which I haven't used for many years, even on official documents. *69 retrieved the number.

called i answered... long pause then a beep. A lady came on saying how she was part of t-mobile research group and wanted to talk to my mom (cause she set up the cellphones). hope this is useful to people.

Wanted my opinion on some political issues. I told him my number is on the do-not-call list and to remove my number from all future calling list. Then I hung up. I'm tired of my evenings at home being disrupted by these calls about politics and surveys.

I hope that helps to clear up the mystery of who is cluttering up your phone's caller log. Yes it is very annoying that they block their outgoing caller-ID, but that's not the fault of the poor young people working as phonejockeys. Don't take your frustration out on the people who call, because they're already frustrated themselves. If they had any career prospects right now, then they wouldn't be slaving away on the phones for a pittance over minimum-wage. Most are students who couldn't give a darn about what survey they are carrying out, and this type of work makes them develop a pretty thick skin, pretty quickly. They develop what I call "personality callouses" so any foul language you might hurl at them just washes right off (and your rant will likely be recorded anyway, so don't be a jerk!)

On a sidenote to Western Wats: why don't you change your outgoing caller-ID to say "survey" instead of "unavailable"? If I see "unavailable" on an unknown incoming call, there's just Zero Chance that I'm going to pick up. But if I see "survey" then I get the option to decide whether I'm not too busy to answer a few questions. I'm betting that you only get a few "hits" per 1,000 placed calls. If your caller-ID said "survey" then I'd bet that you'll double or triple your number of "hits".

Dial tone when I answered. I think they hung up because I let it ring so long before I picked up to answer. I only answered because I thought it was my Utah customer calling me.

How to stop this stupid number keeps calling my cellphone every day?

Make that two calls today (Sunday). I requested to be taken off their list on their Web site. (72 hours.) We'll see.

I've received two calls on a Saturday and one on a Sunday. An organization that calls unsolicited (especially at night or on weekends) has no credibility.

First call tonight, but I don't pick up when the caller doesn't show, but very annoying having to get to the phone in the first place when we have trouble getting around.

They keep calling and not leaving a message on my WORK line. Let's see how they like it...

Caller was difficult to understand. She had a thick accent.Sh didn't know our name, but asked for the 'male head of household'. Told her that he wasn't available so she asked when she could reach him. Told her we would not be taking a call from a cell number we don't recognize. We are on the Do Not Call list too.

They are a conservative polling operation out of Utah. Very annoying. They called me three times last night in the middle of dinner, on my cell phone.

It was kinda random. I didn't even know who it was.

Thank goodness for caller id. Unknown calls don't get answered in my household.

This number has called me at least 5 times over the past week. I've never picked up but it has always been around 8pm central time. I looked it up in the white pages and it is reported as a landline under Cricket Communications.

This lady called. Wants to do a survey of the business. I ask her to send a letter with the details. She says she cant. She says she wants to just know how we communicate in our business and she gets into too many perdsonal details about business and I say "sorry you are a stranger to me bye". For me looks like some company gathering details to sell to credit card or similar companies.
Next time they call JUST HANGUP AND ASK THEM TO GET LOST.

Those of you that check this this phone number is from the company called cricket. Why they are calling us and not saying anything I don't know I am going to have this stopped I have a friend who is a cop and they he is going to have them stop all their prank callings.

That number calls me at all hours of the day and night. Has been calling non-stop for the last 2 weeks. My boyfriend called it, it's a survey of some sort. However, I've been warned before about these numbers, they'll call you but you pay the fees!!!!

hangs uo when I pick 'phone up

if i see a # i don't recognize, i wait for them to leave a message...if they hang up or leave nothing then on my machine i know it's not important. i hope the law is doing something about these people - how long will they live to annoy us? do the citizens not have rights to a peaceful time at home???

This number KEEPS calling and our number is on the do-not-call list!! I don't bother picking up.
