How do I stop them from calling?
- Ask the unwanted caller to stop calling and put you on their do not call list (they are legally required to comply).
- If your number is registered with the National Do Not Call Registry you can file a complaint with the FTC.

I have been receiving calls from a virgina number 804-819-5672 somebody name Kevin left voice message had to listen 5-6 times but still couldn't understand the message. Thus I called him back from the caller ID number he said he is from capital one I told him that I have nothing with capital one and repeated my number for him he said he cant see my number must be a mistake. Okay good byee right! nope got another call...missed it without listening the message I called back left him a message refreshing his memory plus I said remove my number. Again I recieved another call....
A female from this number called asking me to help locate a relative... Don't have a relative by the name she left nor do I or any of my family have accounts with Capitol One.
Wow 3 calls in one day. They don't even check their own records do they. They called two days ago and I said I could make a $25 payment but right now that was it. They said that would not be a problem. I made that payment yesterday through their online system and yet I still get calls. I hope the job interview I have tomorrow leads to a job so I can pay these people off and never have to deal with them again.
This company has been calling my number which I have had for 32 years asking for a Marilyn Shutt?--I do not have an account with Capital One. When I would push numbers one or two---leave a message that I was not Marilyn--I would just get another call. I sent a email to Capital One telling me to send phone number, which I never got until today September 15th. I called it back and they wanted my card number or ss--I hung up. I received another call pressed one or two then I received another promt for pressing zero--a man came on. I told him the story and he said he would take my number off the list. No apology. He said I would probably get more calls through tomorrow. I told him --no I have been harrassed enough. I told him I would contact FTC/Attorney General--He said " Good Luck" Great company Capital One- I will tell 50 people tonight at a family dinner---not to use Capital one.
Person called and left message claiming to be from Capital One Credit and left above number and extension 4538770. I have no accounts with Capital One, but curious returned call. Received voicemail of person named Melissa stating to leave name, number, and social secuity number to receive a call back. Do not fall for this scam. The number that appeared on my caller ID was 804-775-8770. Neither are legit.
