this number called and this woman (susan) left a message stating that my name has been computer selected and there is a time stipulation to claim a 2010 lincon navigator or $45,000. i thinking to my self yeah right!
so for giggles sake i call the 800 # she let me know to call and ask for the director first it was BLAKE , then it some womens name i cant remember . but i called alot , the answering service was never available and before the message board was full the answering message would changeto the same message that was left on my phone.

Some Santiago Muniz called and said, I won a ford explorer. Need to come to office to claim. Address 901, 31st street NW washington DC, 20007. I asked multiple times if this is a timeshare, talked to even the superviser just to understand. Same deal, you will win something from 3 gifts, 1)For explorer or $25K, 2)27" TV or 3)vacation in bahamas. Supervisor gives some password and time.

They said their name was "Patrick" and that I had won a Ford Explorer? Is this legit?

Dear has no life - i do not know where you get off writing that i was arrested for a 3rd degree felony. i was arrested one time in my life and that was as an 18 year old GI ALONG WITH 30 - 40 other GI's stationed at ft bliss texas. All charges were dropped. get your bulls--t story correct. i apologize to all the people that felt they were being scammed. i never took a cent or asked for any money at any time. we set appointments for various clients and always brought people in the front door. i was a small business man who employed as many as 80 people at a time and all we were doing was trying to make an honest living. their are millions of timeshare owners in this world of ours so i guess your 700 plus complainers are right and they are wrong. you will also be happy to know that my company has gone out of business and i have personally lost everything i had trying to keep my company running for my hard working honest employees. so may you all sleep better knowing i am gone from your life forever. prerecorded messaged on my work number stating i had won a prize and need to call to claim it.

Recieved a message from Carmen on my work phone about winning a Ford Explorer. Not going to call back. Message exact same as DTaylor...word for word save the prize claim number. Not calling back.

I received the call at work from "Doris" about $20,000.

Same thing from Carmen.... UGH!!!!!!!!!!! 3rd time they have called in 24 hours

I get this number on my caller id everyday. When I do answer it, they hang up. I tried to call it back and no one answered.

I received a call on my business phone. Got the voice mail and it was from a women names Becka and told me i could win a Ford Explore. I have never given out my business number so I dont know how they got it. She also said my claim number was HH1211.

I live in NM but have a VA number w/Vonage. My vm msg came from a Mandy, stating that I had won either a Ford Explorer or $25,000. So I called it back and was disconnected a ton of times before I was finally put on hold. But after 8 mins, I was disconnected once again. I just really like to know how they got this number.

The messeage was left on my work phone number on 2/14/08. Same content, but I won 25k, not a car, contactng person's name was Mandy, the claim # was WB764.

Received a voice mail message from Becca saying I had won a Ford Explorer; claim number HH1211. Called back, but got a busy signal. I knew it was some type of scam because I did not enter any drawings, so I searched the name given (QMFS) and saw the same number that was left of my voice mail.

I got the same call this afternoon from Mandy.

Someone called my voicemail at work telling me I won money. Of course that is a scam. Called 800-918-4224 and was advised I won some prize. Hint to another scam. Really it is just a time share promotion. After a rep finally got on the phone, she was about to start her promo script and I cut her off asking the purpose of this call. The rep told me it was a time share promotion. ****Scam****

When Verizon called the number, they were told by the Spanish-speaking representative that 100 people had been picked and they needed to provide a credit card number with expiration date, Lewis said.
Although the messages were recorded in Spanish, "Verizon customers all across the country, including California and Oregon," were called, according to Lewis.
The second lawsuit claims Cambridge Marketing and Financial Services made 55,000 calls to Verizon Wireless customers telling them they had won a Ford Explorer and asking that they call a toll-free number to obtain their award.

I searched the e-mail address that "S" showed in their message. I shortened it to "oba rewards" I ran across the following which I am pasting here. It is lengthy but informative. Notice the year of the lawsuits. Thought everyone would like to know. I am going to have to cut it in half to make it fit.

In any language, unwanted telephone solicitation, or spam, is a crime, according to Verizon Wireless.

The company said it filed two lawsuits against three Florida-based telemarketers for the illegal solicitation of its customers.

Verizon Wireless is asking a Somerville, N.J., Superior Court to stop Miami-based All Star Vacations and Marketing Group, Orlando's Travel and Tours Marketing, and Cambridge Marketing and Financial Services of Deland, Fla., from soliciting its customers.

Between November 2005 and December 2005, All Star Vacations and Marketing Group along with Travel and Tours Marketing, made more than 500,000 Spanish-language pre-recorded calls to Verizon Wireless, Verizon spokesperson Debra Lewis told internetnews.com.

I got the call on my home phone from 4348789976 which showed up on my caller ID at 11:21 a.m. on Sat. morning. I had not set up my new call notes mail box as of the time of this call so I did not get a message and I did not call it back. I investigate all strange numbers on my phone by doing a google search to avoid scams like this one. Thanks so much for everyones input.

I called before checking sites. Ask how did I get chosen, something about filling out surveys and the computer picks random winner. My name will be placed in the drawing which will pick on Mar 31. I will be notify by mail or call. And just for calling I will received $200 in coupons to be used online,she gave me a email address to send her a blanket email obarewards@gmail.com. Have not sent her a email. Thinking about setting up a dummy account just in case

This is the 2nd time that I received a phonecall from 434-878-9776. Both times the call was made to my cell phone; a number that I don't give out to just anybody. Both times, I answered and nobody responded. I hung up. I don't intend to call back. Thanks for the info.

Mandy called about the same thing and left a message on my work phone number.

My 1st clue that something was not right was that they did not mention my name, just that she was Loretta from the Awards Claim Ctr. and I had won a Ford Explorer or $25,000.00 cash. Wanted me to call her at 1-800-918-4224. Claim number TN111 . Glad I checked here, thanks for having this site.

Got the same message (at work)... I called back, gave the guy who answered, the claim number (and not letting him get a word in edgewise), told him that we were on the Do Not Call List and if they called back, we would prosecute!

They left a message on my voice mail at work!!

I found it strange that they would call my work number (a private number) for something like this, and I did some research and found out that IT'S A SCAM TO SELL TIMESHARES. Found a report from someone who actually went to claim the price. The report is on this website: ripoffreport.com

Message was left on machine from this number, have not called back and will not. I guess they use random numbers, as they did not ask for anyone in particular. There are too many scams going around.

This number has been calling for several weeks, but everytime someone picks up, they hang up... It was annoying enough when they did it the first couple of days, but calling at 5 in the a.m... and at 10 at night, is getting ridiculous... Is there any way to report these people who obviously have NOTHING better to do?? Some people actually have real jobs and can't be bothered by the phone 24/7..

Same as everyone else. Couldn't make out the name but it wasn't the infamous Carmen this time. Sounded like Ann Tanner?? At any rate, the message was identical. they have been trying to reach me for a while.. blah blah blah. The claim number was AZ939 and said it was a Ford Explorer or $25k.

This is a cool site and I deleted the voice message since I know I haven't entered any contests.

(Tennessee) Just checked my work voicemail and I too received the same BS message from a "Julia" claiming to have won a Ford Explorer or $25K. A few people at my company have received the same calls, and at least one person that I know of has called back, and it's just a major scam to get you to listen to a time-share pitch.

Why can't they just be honest and tell you what it is they want, they could save themselves alot of explaining, then only those interested in a time share would bother to call them. argh! I am not stupid, I know damn well I wouldn't be confirming some expensive prize especially when they didn't address me by name. They might as well have been calling my dog.

OK so I got this same call awhile ago like 6 months ago and the lady said my name was picked out of a drawing that I did awhile ago (which I don't remember entering any drawing)and I was put in another drawing done at the end of this year(which is now)but she called and left a voicemail with her name cut out, that she was trying to get a hold of me for awhile (which isn't true) and to call her back as soon as possible and it was urgent to win and something about the ford explorer or $25,000. But when I tried to call back to see what it was it said "user busy" on my phone and won't go through. It's weird the first time she didn't want anything from me just said i was going to be entered in another drawing ??? And AZgal has the same claim # as me!!!! I just wanna know what they want!

for me to call back, when I do call back, did get through once.But this time was a guy calling.Get the same address where they are located in King Of Prussia, PA.they need the same information about income age and if married.I set up a meeting to go, but check it out online and saw the results.

I received a call on 11-27-07 that said I had won a Ford Explorer or $25,000.00 in cash and to call the 1-800-918-4224 with a claim number of AZ820. When I called i was assured that they were not going to sell me anything and that I had won one of several prizes guaranteed. A Ford Exploerer, $25K in cash, a 27" Flat Panel TV, a Bahamas Cruise on Royal Carribian. All I had to do is go to the claim center with my wife and unto 2 minors in Tempe AZ and the place was called Rewards Claim Center. And while I was there some people from Geo Holidays would be there to talk as well and they are a Time Share company. And at that point I just hung up. I recorded the call if anyone is interested in hearing it as well.

I received two messages in a week from the "Awards Claim Center" Stating I had won either a New Ford Explorer or 25,000 in cash. When I called they stated I had not won anything yet, but had to give them numerous parts of personal information to see if I qualify. I hung up.

I just returned from vacation and had a VM on my office phone from Lindsey. The message was pretty much the same as everyone else...I've won a Ford Explorer or $25,000 cash and apparently they've been trying to reach me for quite some time. I didn't call back because I figured it was a scam. I haven't entered any contests, so I know that there's no way I could have won anything.

I am not sure about the caller i.d.number as I received a voice mail, but the number I was told to call was 877-423-3715, the callers name was Sharise and that I had won either one of four grand prizes, due to the fact that I had entered some on line contest over a year ago, so she said. Either a 32" flat screen T.V., 7 day vacation, $2500 in cash or a brand new ford explorer but definitely was guaranteed one of them. I was told to go to an address here locally in Tampa, she was in Detroit. I was told I had to listen to a 90 minute presentation for a new Travel Agency. She assured me it was not for a time share, etc, etc. Anyway I told her the times that were given were not convenient and she told me to call back next week and she would have some more times available.

I received a call on my work phone to call back regarding claim number AZ820. It was an automated voice that said "Hi this is Lindsey calling from the Awards Claim Center. Thank you and have a great day." So I called back, I waited on hold for about 15mins. I left my phone on speaker and just kept on working at my desk until finally a woman named Christine picked up. Asked me my marital status, if i am in between the ages of 28-78, my email address first and last name. She said 7 days later I will have a gift certificate for $50

Just moved to GA recently (savannah) and thought it was odd that they found my work number and my home number - however, I just received both, since I just moved here. I didn't bother to call back. I knew it was no contest. (I don't even play the lottery, let alone give out my work number to win some prize.) So I called to pump them for info.

The call center is in Florida, but the company they work for is in King of Prussia. The woman told me it's called Caribbean Fun Stays. I Googled and found this:

They invited me to their "drawing" "tonight." I told them, "No."

I received the call at work as well. Message was left with same information from Lindsey. Thanks.

I got a call from "Carmen" at my work number saying I would be entered for a Ford Explorer drawing and watch my email address for a $50 award now. Silly me, I gave them my home address!

I too recived this call on my voicemail at work. The beginning of the message was cut off. "....You have won your choice of a Ford Explorer or $25,000 cash. I have exciting news, please call me back at 1-800-918-4224. Confirmation number is AZ820." I was suspicious and researched it and I'm glad I did, I will not be calling these scam artists back. Thank You!

Voicemail message telling me to call a number because it was urgent...and I needed to give them a code: AZ (something). I don't know about you, but I don't usually call people I don't know.

THe number is not the one on the ID, but rather a number to call back. The prize verification number is a trick for you to tell the salesperson, which city to show the timeshare. I got WB 764 (WB = Williamsburg). Others got HH, which I assume means Hilton Head, South Carolina. Anyway, just a thought. Also, you will never get a Ford explorer from them. I didn't even fill out a form.

I won the Ford Explorer!!! Oh my god I couldn't believe it!!! I sat through the presentation and then at the end they gave me the scratch off ticket. I scratched it off and I was stunned because I was expecting to get the TV.

Dave Meriwether was the manager on duty that day and he took me to the local ford dealership so I could get the explorer. I got to drive it back here to Atlanta! Man, I am soooo excited!

My husband got the same message about the 25k and the Ford Explorer... Her name was Mandy though. I called and they asked Age range, income (under or above 50,000) Email address and Name. Said the drawing was Dec 2nd. Good thing I gave them my "spam" email address and not my real one. Fake name too.

This company called my work phone. THIS IS A SCAM. If you like call them ask to speak with a supervisor. They will just hang up on you or say they are the supervisor. SCAM SCAM SCAM. Beware

I got the same message as everyone else from "Mandy". If this is a Timeshare deal they are not all bad. My husband and I had our Honeymoon paid for from a call like this when Fairfield was starting up (now very well known). We went to Ft. Lauderdale, Disney World, and the Bahamas over two weeks. We had to pay our air fare to and from Florida and visit a 30 minute to 2 hour timeshare presentation in each location but we got to stay in really nice Condos and had free dinners in most locations and even went on a free cruise and got discount tickets to local attractions! We got cheep air fare and really only invested about 4-6 hours over two weeks in Timeshare stuff...but did get bonus for listening. We aren't in the market for a vacation right now so I didn't call back but if you are it might we worth trying.

So I asked her and said it was from an entry I did. Well the thing is I do not do them because I know they are scams or telemarketers will start calling.

They also called me at work and left a message at 7:38pm. It sounded fishy since I have not submit for any prizes lately. I used this site to look up the validity. Thanks, this saved me time from getting nasty at a poor young girl just trying to make a buck at telemarketing.

I only received part of a pre-recorded message, informing me that this was my last notice (never got a first one) They called from (386) 538-7515 on my work cell phone. I see that a common thread is that they call us at work, and a lot of us work for large companies w/ unlisted numbers. I'd urge everyone to check with your company to see if this is a widespread issue.

Several people in my building have received this identical call. The message came in after hours and was left on our message lines.

At 1:16pm today(Sunday 9/16/07) I thankfully missed the call. At 2:42pm Later that day they called my fiance's cell phone and left a message. "1-800-918-4224, your claim number is WB*** and this is your last and final notice, please give us a call as soon as you can, thankyou and have a nice day!" Funny thing is that was our first call from them. I am thankful to these posts I found, I now know to ignore this call.

Since this was my work number, I am assuming it is a computer generated random call.

I go the exact same message on my VM for my Skype phone which I never give out the number to. She left a name of Mandy and the same info as everyone else. I am going to contact Skype and ask them to do a trace on the number itself. I will keep you updated if I find anything.

i received calls and voicemails (Carmen & Crystal) at my office number mentioning that I won a brand new Ford Explorer. Don't they have any other things to do??? Just happened they left their company name in the last voicemail which I checked in the website and was very lucky for not calling back as it was a scam.

I have tried to call the number, but it is always busy.

Received phone call stating I have won a Ford Explorer or $25,000 in cash. Gave confirmation # WB764, and stated they have tried to call several times and this would be the last and final call with toll free# to return call. I tried to call the number that was on my called id 1-386-538-7515, continuously rang no pickup.
I truly hope that there can and will be someone that will take care of these annoying phone calls which fill up the capacity of our voicemail.

Same message about winning the Ford Explorer. They used to call my cell phone all the time. If I answer the call, instead of letting it go to voice mail, they hang up. I called back and told them to remove my number from there database. They were very nice and cordial - said it could take up to 72 hours.

I too received the same call from "Carmen" on work number and decided to call back. I was told to call the 18009184224 number,When I called back, they asked the questions like on what number did I received the call, married or single, age range and I was told I am on the finalist in the drawing for a new Ford Explorer or 25K cash and final draw date is dec 2nd. The "Awards Claim Center" did not ask me for any other personal information.

I received the call at work. She didn't leave as much detail as the others. The call came from 800-918-4224 with claim number ALP9000.

I ACTUALLY GOT THE EXPLORER!!!

I got the call twice now. Once during my first week at my first job out of college (!) and again last night. They left voicemails both times. Does that mean I've won two Explorers? Haha, great! Btw, Crystal/Carmen, whoever it was, she sounds cute. I'm not sure if I should call to complain or ask her out...(sigh)

I received a VM stating I won a Ford Explorer. Claim #ALP9000. They said to call back 1-800-918-4224, which was busy, so I looked the number up, here.

I got a call said I had an award for ford explorer or 25K cash and to call back in with my number SNAU3112

Got it on my cell, big pain in the butt!

I too received the same call from "Carmen" and decided to call back. I was told to call the 18009184224 number, but the call actually came from 3865387515. I was told I was a finalist in the drawing for a new Ford Explorer. The "Awards Claim Center" did not ask me for any personal information like some of the other callers, but asked more vague questions like whether I was single or married and my age range. After the survey like questions he told me I was now entered into the final drawing for the Explorer and to have a great day. I really expected him to ask for my SSN or something. The only question he asked was what number I received the call on so of course that was information he obviously already had and I gave it to him even though the number has been disconnected from service.

"Crystal" called about the Ford Explorer on my work number. I got pissed and decided to call 1-800-918-4224 back. Here's what ensued:

I called the 1-800 back to tell them to take me off the list, but they immediately asked me the state I was calling from, then started asking for my phone number, zip code, and additional information to confirm my "winnings." I immediately told them I did not want to give it, and asked to speak with a supervisor.

I was put on the phone with a man named Richard, who refused to give me the mailing address of the Awards Claim Center and demanded to know why I wanted it. I told him that I wanted to report it to the Better Business Bureau and he immediately got hostile and told me that my business number was public information and that he could put it on their "do not call list." Then he hung up on me.

I called back again, got the same supervisor, and told him I was calling from a media organization and that I wanted him to know I was going to record the call (to see his reaction). He immediately said he wasn't going to deal with it, and hung up on me again.

Sounds more like identity theft than timeshares.

Received the call at work today - googled the phone number and came to this site. Voicemail was the same as people received in 2006. Did not call back.

The woman said that I was entered in a drawing for a Ford Explorer or 25K cash. She asked if I was married, had income over/under 50k, and if i was a US citizen. I asked when wasthis drawing and she said the end of the year. She wished me luck in the drawing, stating that she hopes I win.

same junk. that's ok, i'll spam them back with 1M or so emails and re-routed texts + a few boxes that dial every 10 seconds. haha

It's a scam I called and the first thing they ask for is phone number and can not pull any records with any number other than a phone number. My confirmation number was ALP9000

I received a telemarketer message on my work phone from "Carmen", saying that I had won a Ford Explorer. I called the number and asked for the name and address of their company, but the supervisor was very rude and hung up on me. I reported the call to my workplace and the FTC. I also found out that this is a timeshare scam.

Spoke to a rep who said they are from Westgate Resorts in Florida. Might be gimmick to get you to visit and then sell you a time-share, or could be a Canadian scam.

I reported them to the FTC. They leave 3 voicemails a week AND are insistent they haven't broken the DNC law. SCAMMERS. My claim # FNCA3112

The same thing happened to me that happened to everyone else. But where they screwed up on is that im only 17. I can't win a car! HaHaHa. They claimed to be having "phone problems" when i called and never answered my questions. Plus they never let me talk to "Carmen".
Someone should catch these people. It's all a scam.

My phone number is unlisted and on the Do Not Call Registry, so I knew it had to be due to the fact I'd just registered online at Publisher's Clearing House last night. If you read their policy, they talk about unchecking the box on the accout info page. Well, the box says to check it if you want to be notified of your winning by email - oh yeah, and don't check it if you don't want "special offers" from third parties...

I will continue to search this out until I have all Info and this company and then I will publish this on the we. When noticed an hebrew accent and asked her if she spoke Hebrew in Hebrew she hung up. I then called back. and spoke with the mgr and asked about who funds this organization and if they receive any federal funding. The manager dodged this question showing that this could be much more than it appears.

My husband got "the" call at work, odd - we don't give out that number! Then we got the call at home and someone left the exact message as DTaylor's 9-15-06 call. Gave me a VIP# to bring to Atlantic City to win a prize in a drawing (top prize is mentioned on phone, or 8 day Florida vaction, or 27" tv) after seeing a presentation for vacation trips, etc. I asked who offered this contest and was told Shore Escape, 1125 Atlantic Ave., Suite 711, Atlantic City, NJ 08401. I stopped at that point without making reservation, etc. Since its a business number, I don't know how to report them!

They called my cingular pay as you go phone. I never fill this number in for ANYTHING. I don't know where they got it from.

I recieved a call from this number and the only part of the message I got was a claims number and a warning that "this was my last and final notice". Did not call back.

Carmen's back. Just got a call around 10:48am EST from Carmen. Same script (down to the phone AND claim number) as the posts dating back a year ago. I'm glad you guys are here to confirm my suspicions. :o)

Another thing: If you have signed up for any trial offers or any newsletters/emails/etc you may want to check to make sure you take your info off their lists. "Carmen" called a number I just acquired and have not given anyone else except for this trial membership thingy I signed up for.

A woman called my personal cell phone telling me that this was my "final notice" and that I had won something. I called the toll free number she left so that I could tell whoever was on the other end not to ever call my cell phone again. When I called I asked the person who answered, "What company is this?" The lady grumpily answered, "National Award Registry." I said, "Well, I didn't sign up for anything and you called my personal cell phone. Don't ever call this number again." She huffed, "Whatever Ma'am," and hung up on me. I was furious and have been trying to find out how to speak to a supervisor and file a complaint with the BBB or a scam site ever since.

I received a call today from Ellen claiming that I had won an Esclade WOW an upgrade from the Ford Explorer..I read the coments on this site & one person stated that the local news station followed them & found this to be A SCAM..I called Ellen back to cancel my apt. & told her that I had been here & new that it was a scam. All that she said was thank you. I explained to her that we have a special needs child & she still tried to lure us in. HOW COLD!!!

Received this call saying the person is trying to get to me (at work) for some time and I have won an award "FORD EXPORER" and to call back at this number with claim number DB394. Did not call back.

I received a call from Carmen on my work phone. Same script as the ones listed below only the claim number was HH592.

Left a message on my work phone on 05/21/07 at 6:30 p.m.. Here is the exact transcript:

I Have some good news for you. I need you to give me a call as soon as possible. My toll-free number is 1-800-918-4224 and your claim number is FNC83112. It is very important you give us a call as soon as possible. Thank you and have a great day."

I had back to back messages from two different women with the exact same message:

I figured it was a scam, then found this site.

Recieved a call from Carmen @ Reward Claim center saying I won a new Ford Explorer and that I needed to call right away. She never called back and the number left to me did not work. claim #HH592

I received a message on my BRAND NEW phone line (even before I set up the voicemail). The beginning had been cut off (as if it was a recorded message), and the female voice was slow and deliberate (as if reading something scripted). The vm said "... calling from the Awards Claim Center. We have been trying to reach you for awhile regarding our promotion to receive a brand new Ford Explorer or $25,000 in cash. I have some really good news for you. I need you to give me a call as soon as possible. My toll-free number is 1-800-918-4224, and your claim number is XXXXxxxx. This is your last and final notice. It is very important you give us a call as soon as possible. Thank you and have a great day." I called and started asking questions about how she acquired my number, her company name, etc.. She then said good-bye, and just before hanging up, called me a 'bitch'.

Please beware, never once did she mention my name, her name, the name of her company, or the name of the "Sweepstakes" I had entered. Also, my name was ever asked.

I received the exact same voicemail on my work phone in San Diego, on 5/2/07. Same thing...I won a Ford Explorer or $25,000 cash, they've been trying to reach me, final notice, blah blah. She gave me a confirmation number, FNCA3112, and a call back number, (800)918-4224. Unfortunately, I was both curious and gullible enough to call them back! I spoke to someone who said I was a finalist...and then she asked me some "demographical" questions: am I 30-70? no. am i single or married? single. do i live with a significant other? no. am i over 21? yes. so i probably didn't meet their timeshare critera because she said i would be entered into the drawing and then that was it. i hope i never hear from them again..and if they try calling me back, they'll most definitely get a piece of my mind!!! now i feel stupid..I should have known it was too good to be true. ;(

I recevied this call at work and decided to call them back find out the name of the company. When I called I got through to a VERY uneducated (ghetto)individual who had NO business anwering phones (can we say ebonics)! When I demanded to speak to a supervisor he set thee phone down without placing me on hold and proceeded to hit on his co-worker. I am not lying--this is what I heard, "Yo baby, I ain't got no racist tendancies, but you are a fine looking white woman". After listening to this for about two minutes he came back on the line only to realize I had heard his entire conversation and no, I had not spoken to a manager. Well, when I finally spoke to amanger and asked him the name of the company he worked for he proceeded to give me his personal work history. Needless to say, I did not find out the name of the company and I hung the phone up irritated, confused, slightly offended and I must admit--amused at the LOSERS that stoop so low to take these kind of jobs!!!!!!

I called the number to advise this person I didn't enter anything and got elevator music. I then checked the web for Awards Claim Center and found this site.

I'm so glad I found this page! We were going to leave tonight for Branson after a call from this number. We were told we would win either a Bayliner boat or Ford Explorer, 7 day cruise, or 27" flat screen TV. We would get 2 free nights hotel stay. I began to get concerned about the whole thing when I was told we would be staying at the French Quarter in Branson, but after looking up the resort, found that it was located somewhere else in Branson! The address I was given was to Spinnaker Resorts! After reading this page, we will be staying home this weekend! I will never answer a call like this again!!

I received this VM today @ 3:50pm. VM said you entered a sweep 25K or Ford Explorer. So I figured what the H! call them back. I do enter sweeps every once in awhile but it seemed a bit fishy so I had H2B call.
H2B gave them a call and the guy said he won 2nd place a trip to The Bahamas (6 day 5 night). He wanted to know what state we lived in and what our income is. H2B said below 25K just for laughs and the guy hung up. H2B called back and got a woman who said that they had us living in FL. Well yeah that is where our company phone # is listed but that not where we are we did mot tell her this but knew it must be a scam. The woman asked how much we made H2B said 50K I guess that was enough for her to continue to talk to us. H2B then said he was a bit skeptical since they did not know who won just the phone # the woman informed him that he must have entered a sweep when he registered for at a grocery store (discount cards). She asked for H2B to send a self addressed stamp to:

Phone Spam!

I received the same call from Carmen last night (Friday evening) about 7:30pm to my work phone. I fwrd my work # to my cell when not in the office, but missed the call. It was the same message about an Explorer or $25K. The red flag immediately went up when she said they have been trying to reach me for some time. Since I am reachable at the number she called 24/7, why would they be having such a difficult time getting ahold of me?

I got a voice mail message on my work phone from 434-878-9976. The message said to call 1-800-918-4224. The message said it was my "last and final notice". I had no prior calls or messages from this company. The message said I was being called with some exciting news about my entry into a promotion for at new Ford Explorer or $25K cash. I tracked the (434) number to a provider in a town in Virgina named Brodnax. I called both numbers and I did ultimately speak with a woman on the 1-800 line who identified herself as Rhonda from Quincy Marketing in Florida. She asked what state I was calling from which is NJ. Based on my location, Rhonda said she was calling for a new company in Atlantic City, NJ named Shore Escapes, LLC located at 1125 Atlantic Avenue, AC, NJ 08401. When asked what promotion I had entered, she could not say, just speculated it was something in a Mall or on-line. She said that I had indicated that I liked to travel. (Who doesn't??) When asked about the Explorer or the $25K cash that I was called about, she said there will be a drawing on December 31. But now, I was invited to visit the new company's office in Atlantic City, NJ where I would be given a scratch off ticket where I would win one of 3 essential prizes. I was also asked to send Rhonda a self-addressed stamped envelope to "The Welcome Center, PO Box 7154, Daytona Beach Shores, Florida 32116" and in return I would be sent a certificate for a day cruise out of Florida. In short, I did not win anything. No mistaking it, this is a sales call/scam.

Glad I googled the partial number and dug up this site. I was a bit worried it might be a health insurance claim or something since the dead give away re. Ford Explorer was missing. Needless to say I deleted the message and didn't call back.

I called them back to tell them I work for a defense contractor and that our numbers are not for public use. They're protected under some DOD section and not even on our business cards. I spoke to the manager "Richard" who was pretty nice and straightforward. Apparently they can call any number as long as it's not on the national "do not call" list. Even unlisted numbers are fair game. His chances of reaching our classified phone structure was about as good as anyone else mashing their hand on the phone and dialing 7 random numbers. I'll talk to management about why we're not on that list if we're classified.

I keep getting this number with the same vm msg on our vm at the office. I called and told them to take us off their list. About 1 week later we started receving calls again. I called, spoke to Richard, whom was very rude to me and told me I was harassing him. He told me he would get me in trouble.

Got the same call from Mike Malone Sweepstakes prize american publishers 800-514-0049 & direct line 678-401-5655...but it was for a BMW with 25k! They said they dont know exactly how I got entered but that they think its because I was selected from my Visa CC for being a "good customer". After talking to the guy I realized that they just wanted to sell me something and get my personal CC information before getting my prize. When I told the guy I'd call him back after checking out if he was legit I got another call within 30 minutes(didnt write the number down) re: the ford explore w/ 25k. Geez, like id take the down grade in cars! At this point I said "no thanks" - the guy proceeded to insult me. Warning: these people are creeps out for your money! This is really creepy because three people directly related to me or thru work have all gotten the same calls! Don't fall for it!

Dang it!! I fell for it LOL! I should have looked up this information before I called back. I knew it was too good to be true LOL! Well, I called and this gay music started playing before someone answered. I was get'n jiggy with it. (j/k) It sounded like I was talking onto a loud speaker or something... weird... I told him I wasn't sure if this was legit and I wasn't sharing any information with him. I received the same call coming from Carmen as well with a different claim number on it. He asked me if I wanted to stop the call if I didn't think it was legit and I told him I don't like giving out information to something I don't know about. I guess according to him I signed some sweepstakes at a grocery story or mall (which I do occasionally) so I answered his questions. Basically they were if I was married, if not was I living with my girlfriend, my age bracket, if I worked or not, and if I go on vacation do I used a major CC or checks. That's it... he told me I'd be put in the drawing to receive one of the prizes Ford Crapsplorer or 25K. Either way... I don't care cuz after taxes I won't see it... I'll put it towards my school loan LOL! That's if it's legit and I highly doubt it. So many scams these days.. I need to get hooked up with a job doing nothing but calling people and get paid for it. psh! W.E.

Recieved the same message. Came from 786-587-1036. Claim number was BB394.

Received same script on VM at work. Only it was from a Nicole. Did not call back.

One more thing (this is to the folks behind the scam)...if you're reading this, you may have called a lot of folks with your scandalous claims, but you FUCKS need to know that we're not as dumb as you think. I just received the same message on my office voicemail from Annabel at the Awards Claim Center about winning a Ford Explorer or $25,000 (800-918-4224). I did not call back! Total scam from somewhere in the Miami area (786-587-1036). Thanks for having this website so we can spread the word on these scam artists!

This idiots called me (Carmen) - they ought to be sued for calling folks at work and wasting other companies time.

I never enter contests, and the thing about "last and final notice" just set off my b.s. detector. I never called back, Googled the number, and found this place.

I received this call as well, but from Carrie instead of Carmen. I guess people were catching on to Carmen, so they switched up the name slightly.

I've also received this message at work. Looks like a scam to me. I don't plan on calling them back.

I actually received this call twice at work (as did my co-worker). Today they called my house phone number. In reading the postings, it sounds like the claim # just indicates where you are located. Mine was FNUT3112 and I am in Utah. Kinda funny. Nice site. Glad I didn't call back. I almost thought it was legit after I got the call at both places.

I went through the whole routine with them. They want you to sit through a one hour class and listen to a sales pitch. After you give them a little personal info the prizes get smaller. Explorer,25k in cash, 27" TV, or 7 day Bahama trip. When I refused to give them a home address they thanked me for my time (and gulability) and hung up.

Same as everyone else except the name used was Kerry. The vioce mail showed the call originated from

After getting the voicemail for the Explorer/$25k cash, I called and found it to be a call center in Florida doing business for Ultimate Vacations. Maybe we should all look them up and clog their phone system.

I received the same voice message on my direct line at work on April 4th at 7:37 pm (definitely after business hours). This time it was Carrie and the claim number was FNUT3112. I Googled the number before calling and I found this site. This site was a great help - thanks for posting!

These calls appear to be from the Spinnaker Resort people trying to push time shares. They have gotten in trouble in the past for telemarketing: ago.mo.gov

Looks like they are using business phone numbers to avoid the "do not call registry" that unfortunately only applies to residential phones.

It is federal law that if you notify the Company's Service provider that you are recieving neucense calls from a number, they are required to block them from dialing your number. There service provider is AireSpring. The guy you need to email is at locke@airespring.com I have 8000 phone numbers at the hospital I work at and had them all blocked, and it worked.

Person started to ask for personal info 'for demographic region'reason. I did not provide. Lady asked me to have a good day & hung up. What happened to my prize? I should've listend to my husband!
