Why not let Terra Nostra know how irritated we are by all these junk faxes? Terra Nostra may not be behind these faxes, but then again maybe they are. If we let Terra Nostra know what a PR nightmare this is creating maybe, just maybe, they will do something about it.

My suggestions:
Every time you receive a fax about Terra Nostra fax it to Terra Nostra, but don't just fax it once fax it several times. The fax number is 1-626-796-5999.

Heck, why not send them an email telling them how you feel: requests@tnr-corp.com

If you want to call them, their investor relations phone number is 1-866-626-0088 (toll-free). Their main number is 1-626-796-0088. Don't forget, everytime you call their toll free number they pay for the call.

Maybe you want to snail mail them a copy of the faxes.
Mr. Don Nicholson, President
Terra Nostra Resources Corp
790 East Colorado Blvd., 9th Floor
Pasadena, CA 91101

Don't forget, Even if the faxes go to a computer or you leave a voice mail someone still has to take the time to review each one of them.

These firms keep filling our fax machines with their junk faxes, well it time we let them know what we think. Let's fill their fax machines, email boxes, snail mail, and phone lines with our disdain. Let them stop the junk faxes!

In December 2007, Cyber began faxing these Asian Investment Alerts under the "fax removal number" of 877-231-5404.

On the "new" faxes, they no longer use the Cyber Communications name, instead, they hide that fact.

No fewer than 46 of this type of junk fax between August 2007 and December 2007, all coming from (or seeming to come from) the same place. I've called the renewal numbers each and every time and it never stops. Seems that every other day there's another junk fax on my machine, costing me money and wasting my time. I'd love to see a bounty put on the head of the a$$ho|e who runs this fax blasting company. I'd gladly contribute to that cause.

I am so sick of these faxes, not sure how to stop but will report to the Communications Commission.

2007-12-17 03:15:49 UTCDG

I reported them to the State Attorney's Office!

800-910-3972 is the "fax removal number" (yeah, sure) for this junk fax from Cyber.

sorry Guy, I have some better information since my previous post.

Company phone number

Got the fax at 3:51am twice this week.

I received two consecutive faxes this morning at work that gives me two removal numbers on two "Asian Investment Alert!" faxes: 1-800-910-3972 and 1-800-309-0680. This company is a worm. I'm also filing a complaint.

2007-03-05 16:42:35 UTCCarrie

Thanks to Marie for the website address of the FCC. I also filed a complaint.

2007-03-05 12:07:13 UTCMarie

My story is the same as 'Bill' and I suppose many others. A suggestion at another site was contacting the FCC. This is the site: ftp.fcc.gove/cgb/consumerfacts/unwanted faxes/html. I'm going to try this, as nothing else is working - although I like the idea of sticking it to "whoever this is?".

2007-03-05 11:19:54 UTCGuillermo

What's up with these guys? They're using my toner! I called the remove number but they keep sending... Caller ID just says "OUT of AREA"

2007-03-05 08:09:38 UTCRobert

I, too, receive these faxes. Have "opt'd out" 4 times in February alone. To no avail. Also, They have multiple Opt out numbers - like I don't know it's the same people sending them over and over. What are the chances a class action lawsuit would help? FCC says we could recover up to $ 500.00 for each TCPA violation. That would help me sleep at night ($500.00 x 20+ violations)

Asian Investment Alert keeps coming through despite “opt-out” confirmation–and at 2 in the morning. Latest pump is on Terra Nostra Resources Corp., 55 South Lake Avenue, Ste 700, Pasadena, CA 91191, F: 626-796-5999; Investor Relations: 866-626-0088. Recommend you threaten them with NO CALL law violations, for a corp cannot do indirectly through an agent that which it cannot do directly. You will probably get a reply–”we don’t know who these people are–we’ve tried to stop them, too.” Would love to find out where this stupid group is located, or the computer phone line sending the faxes–but it’s probably a company in Iran leasing a US 800 line (or something really inane and difficult to trace). If I have any luck, I’ll “live search” for this blog to post an update. Meanwhile, we ALL suffer (too bad the HP multi-function doesn’t have a call log, or I’d trace the phone number). GOOD LUCK!

Junk fax from Asian Investment Alert

2007-03-04 02:56:03 UTCSuzanne

Unlike other "junk faxes" that stop after you call the "remove" number, these stock-related junk faxes keep coming. The "fax blast ads" contain no other phone numbers than the "remove" number. The actual "sent from" number is not printed at the top of the fax.

Text on the fax states "Cyber Communications Services Ltd (Cyber) was paid $250,000 for the distribution of this report. These fees were paid by Gemini Market News, Inc, who paid the fees on behalf of certain shareholders of the subject companies."

2007-03-02 13:29:06 UTCKristie

I started tracking these faxes starting in January. I've received 4 since Jan. 24 and I've "removed" my fax number from their service 4 times.

2007-02-28 19:31:48 UTCSara

They keep sending the same "Asian Investiment Alert", we already got 8 of those in the last 24 hours. We called the 800 number to unsubscribe and they just keep sending them. This is an outrage, using our paper and toner for their spam. Something should be done with them, criminals.

2007-02-28 01:48:50 UTCMarc

"Asian Investment Alert!" interrupted our sleep again tonight with a fax transmission at 11:11 PM.

2007-02-27 10:05:31 UTCBill

I get this fax 3-4 times a week..The removal number is answered, and says it removes your number, but it does not..
Because it's a 800 #, 'they' or someone must be paying for the calls to the 800 #, so I simply put my fax machine in autodial, and the 800# recording answeres each and everytime.. Thereby 'at least' costing 'them' some money.. My machine usually calls the number 10 times (and it's answered 10 times) before stopping, I then put it through the cycle again.. I do this several times.. Every fax they send me results in multiple 800# charges to their line..Even if it's only a quarter, thats a $7.50 cost to them.. If the 800# is a stolen number, and it probably is, the real owner will be complaining to the phone company that has the resources to track this asshole down...

unsolicited fax received for "Asian Investment Alert"

How do I stop them from calling?

  1. Ask the unwanted caller to stop calling and put you on their do not call list (they are legally required to comply).
  2. If your number is registered with the National Do Not Call Registry you can file a complaint with the FTC.
  3. Block them with a call blocker:
