I have received several phone calls from 1-800-847-2460 for the past couple of months. They show up on the caller ID as ER solutions on behalf of Chase Bank... Chase closed one of my accounts...after taking out money from my account and transferring to another without my permission. Now they're calling to collect on the overdraft and closed account due to their error transferring funds without my permission. I'm done!
Wow, skip tracing a baby, that is rich. That just shows you how corrupted the data in debt account bundles can get the more they are transferred and sold.
This does call for a cease-comm, and I should think as her legal guardian your word in print will be enough to enforce it. If they break it, you can absolutely hose these goons in Federal court. I would pay admission to see their $250/hr attorney have to eat his paperwork when he sees who the collector is trying to dun in ridiculous error.
The FTC and many consumer groups explain how to draft and send your demands.
They call me three to four times a day. They keep asking for My 6 month old daughter. I tell them that she cannot come to the phone because she is 6 months old. The person wouldn't give me his name but said that she need to tell them that. They told me that they wanted me to prove to them that she is only 6 months old and I told them where they can stick it. They I told them that they would have to take me to court and explain to a judge why they are wanting to told to her. They hung up on me and then I called the police and they called them back and told them that until I send them proof they will still will still keep calling. I've filed a complaint with the states attorney.
One part of Joel's advice was I think a little reckless. Sending a total cease-comm quiets voice _and_ mail contact. Because it may prod a lawsuit, cease-comm is not advisable if there is a chance the debt claim can be enforced on you. That's when you request validation, which suspends collection activity until the collector responds in some way. In the same request you can stipulate how and when you may be contacted.
That of course is speaking of Federal law, the FDCPA, which regulates collector behavior. It can help you combat repeated, misdirected, and/or abusive calls, among other indignities. Learn your rights at FTC-dot-gov. See also your state laws for additional support.
I do not these owe people nothing . They call me 3 to 4 times a day 6 days a week. I have had my number changed and not listed .
I answered my roommates phone because I had borrowed while she slept since I broke mine. The man was rude, refused to tell me who or why he was calling, very unprofessional. When I told him it wasn't the person he was asking for he called me a liar and went off. I just hung up. Next time I'll hang up before talking to them. I'm glad I bank with Bank of America.
To STOP calls from any collector you do this one simple thing. Look up a CEASE and DESIST letter.Put their company name and information with account info and sign. By FEDERAL LAW they will have to stop or be fined up to ten thousand dollars.
They will not be able to call you, your family or anyone else. They can still mail letters if you let them do that. They usually won't as it costs them a bunch of money. Don't get scared when they say they are ELEVATING to an attorney. This is just a push to see if they can extract any money or not and the attorney 90 percent of the time doesn't do squat. When you do finally get some money negotiate a payoff in writing for payment in full and deletion from your credit report. This way they will not be allowed to sell off the remaining uncollected debt to another collection agency.
If the original collection company has sold off the debt to another that negative showing on the credit report that company will have no interest in removing their info as they no longer collect the debt.Usually if you dispute it will get removed as they don't keep up with files they no longer work.
Good luck-no legal advice
I have received phone calls all the time from this number 800 847 2460. I called today and talked to someone and someone gave my number to this company so I am getting phone calls for a DEE Messager. I dont know this person and I am suppose to be taken off of this call list and the man was really nice. I hate when someone gives someone elses phone number I have enough stress without someone elses bill collecters calling me. If nt going to pay your bills QUIT GIVIVNG OUT OTHERS NUMBERS!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks Julie 09-29-2010
They call me daily from the 28th of the month, for a chase bill with a pay by the 12th of the month. Example, they will call May 29th asking for payment of bill due June 12th.
I point this out to them, along with telling them for the past 27 years we have paid this bill online on the 10th of the month except when the 10th is on a weekend, then we pay it earlier. They are very rude, ignorant, and I would say not from this country.
Never had account with Chase they call call and call sometimes late 5 minutes before nine at night so I turn my ringer off my phone stills light up when I have call comming in so I do not miss important calls.
This is a collection company for Chase. Funny thing is I work for collections and they are not following guidelines. It is illegal for them to continue to call, unless they don't leave a message and if they are aware they are calling a cell phone, and continue to call with auth, that too is illegal and can be fined thousands of dollars.
They do not leave messages for this exact reason. Which is really wasteing their time because they can leave their name and number just not give out personal or company name.
I guess they must not really want to get call backs and in my case pay.
they called me 3 times asking for my boyfreind. the first time they asked me if he was there all i said was who and they hung up. second time they called i reconized the number so i picked up and before they even said anything i yelled at them and said the last time you people called u hung up on me so stop calling my f**k**g phone. and today they called and asked for him and i said theres nobody here by that name and i asked what is this reguarding because alot of people have been calling my phone asking for that person he said is he there or not i said no so i sugest u stop calling my phone then he said okay i will take ur number off the list.
They called my house twice and used 2 different numbers, they are a collections agency that Chase Bank sells there accounts to after 90 days of nonpayment. They are very rude and unprofessional, and will harrass you for as little as $31.58.
These people call all night and all day on my job. They never leave a message just constantly calling.
They are using up my cell phone credit!
I received a phone call from er solutions from !-877-371-3188 for purpose of collecting a past due bill. Please e-mail me at Rdawson14@netzero as to the amount of debt and the company that it is owed to. Thanks, Nathania Dawson in Richmond ,Virginia 23236.Phone # 804-320-4978.
First time for this number on my cell phone.
THEY KEEP CALLING AFTER 10PM FOR SOMEONE WE DON'T EVEN KNOW. FILED A COMPLAINT WITH F.T.C.. CLEAR VIOLATION OF THE FDCPA.
I just keep calling them back. they have my cell phone caller id. there is no reason for them to be calling me. so i just call them when i have a minute.
If they are calling your cell, then ID the number (i.e., ER Sol) and set the ringer for that number as "none." Then you can avoid being bothered by their calls. Eventually, they give up. I love playing cat & mouse with these bastards and in the end, I always win!
Wamu had all the signs of failing. I once asked them back in the Spring of 2008 if they were in trouble and they lied to me. They also said they would never transfer my funds without my permission and they lied again. I once worked with a woman who bragged "my mom still smokes weed and she is very successful as the VP of Wamu LA CA." How can a bank not fail when the VP level employees are dope heads?
Yes, ER Solutions. If you get called by this number multiple times, just report it to the authorities as harassment and have them call ER Solutions and tell them to stop harassing you. If you try yourself, they'll just hang up on you.
Wamu collection, Fuck them!!!
Caller said he was from ER Solutions and was calling on behalf of Washington Mutual to collect on an overdraft amount from my husband's checking account. I told him he would need to talk to my husband because I'm not on that account and had nothing to do with it. When he snottily told me I was just as responsible for the debt as my husband, I hung up the phone.
ER Solutions Collection Agency
they're ER Solutions - finally left a message today after calling repeatedly for days and hanging up. they also use the following numbers on caller id: 623-931-5410 and 775-319-1528. i've read that they're a debt collector for washington mutual, but i have no account or debt with them. not sure if they're legit...
This number called my phone but no one on the other line is saying anything. This has been going on for a coouple of weeks now. How do I make them stop or report them?
Washington mutual collectors
They're bill collectors. They'll call you work and are quite rude to receptionists or any other employees who answer the phone at my job. My question is, are they actually legit? Please let me know at my e-mail at missindepndnt86@gmail.com
They called me and left no message. My email address is wiwtw@att.net
No message. I called back and the person answered, "Hello?"
Collection Service ER Solutions, will burn up your cell phone calling over & over uses 1-800-847-2460 AND 425-562-3215 EXTREMELY AGGRESSIVE collection agency for Washington Mutual and Key Bank
They constantly call I always answer. they already have my info and want to work out payment arrangements. then they ask what my income is, mortgage, bills. they then hang up.
They definitely are a debt collector -
Monica called about a "personal business matter" and would not say what the call was about until I verified my identity with the last 4 digits of my SS # or birthdate. When I wouldn't give these she hung up.
The name of the company is ER Solutions. They are bill collectors. They have called 3-5 times a day for the last 2 weeks and this is the first time they left a message. Bill Logan was the person leaving the message. What jerks.
I recieved a call from this number LESS THAN ONE MINUTE AFTER a call from 425 562 3215!!!!
When 425 562 3215 called, they left a brief message on my answer machine. Some woman said "Hello" and in the background a man said "No, just hang up."!!! Very shady.
Both numbers seem to be connected because my research shows that both ask for similar information.
BEWARE!!!!!!
The company is called ER Solutions. They do collections and other things for financial institutions, from what I could gather. They called looking for someone with my husband's name, but the birthdate they had for him was wrong, so we knew it was someone else they were looking for.
They leave a message each time they call asking me to call back.
they call at least 3 times a day
This company uses more than one phone number in hopes that you will answer.
I have 2 so far. And as mentioned before, they NEVER leave a message. Here is the other phone number they use: 206-322-4500
they call every day at least 3 times a day, never leave a message
this number calls me, the number shows up and I dont know who it is so I dont answer. They never leave a message.
Same thing happened to me. They called me 4 times on my cell phone in the past 3 days, twice in early morning.
I called and it turned out they have the wrong person. I called again to make sure they straighten this out. First time, they asked my number and my name, then they hang up. I called again and told them i had googled them and know who they are, if they don't stop, I am going to seek leagle action, so finally they transferred to a manager and blocked my phone number. Let's hope this is the end of it.
It is a debt collector, and a very aggressive one at that. They do NOT leave messages because by law, once they left a message, they cannot call back in the same day. So instead, they just call repeatedly throughout the day, never leaving message, hoping you will answer the call.
Missed call. Hasn't been the first time, I've seen this number before figuring it to be just another tele-marketer. Calling a private, DNC listed cell-phone. Hello violations.
They keep calling my cell phone. When I answer they hang up. Today they asked to verify the last four digits of my SS#, then they asked if I knew someone with my brother's name. Neither of these matched what they were looking for.
I've been getting at least 3 missed calls from this number for about 5 days; they never leave a message.
The caller asked for me to verify personal information and when I refused and asked who she was, she hung up on me. I called her back and all the would say was it was a financial institution. They refused to answer any of my questions until i verifed some personal info, and then she hung up on me again.
answers the phone "New York Solutions" sounds like a bill collector
Keeps leaving messages to call back because important but people hang up when you call back.
