- If your number is registered with the National Do Not Call Registry you can file a complaint with the FTC.
- Block them with a call blocker:

The robot on this number has been calling me 4-5 times a day for someone else with an unprounceable name. No one here has Sprint mobile service. I let it go to voice mail, where the robot yaps at my voice mail for 10 minutes straight, expecting an answer. Today, I called the number back. Sprint's IVR system will not let me proceed until I put in my mobile number, and it doesn't recognize 0 as "get a human on the line." After three attempts, it hangs up on me. I looked up the number for Sprint on gethuman.com; the alleged customer service rep says she has no way to look up the wireless number in question based on my home phone, so she can't update their system. Apparently I'm doomed to be harassed by bots FOREVAR!111!ONE!
It's definitely Sprint. It' s automated message that "reminds" you that your Sprint bill is past due. Typically this occurs about when your bill is 30 days past due and about to enter a new billing cycle.
bogus v-mail left saying something: "This is an urgent customer alert for sprint wireless customer [GAVE NAME]. It is urgent that you call us today for important information about your account. Call (800) 839-4359 and give reference code "####".
They called my sprint cell phone today, and claimed to be sprint wanting my info to "update their records", 10/07/07 They called my T-mobile cell phone claiming to be T-mobile wanting to "update my info"Sounds "Phishy" to me.
These guys are scammers. Traced as a phishing call. They are trying to steal your credit card number.
I just got a call (August 19th, 12:07 PM EST) from this number. I did not answer and no message was left.
I'm 99.9% sure this is Sprint Wireless...i just canceled a contracted line through them and can't afford the $200.00 fee as of this moment. So i'm pretty sure it's them.
called, I didn't answer because I didn't know the number. They never leave a voicemail.
I dont rememebr exactly how they said they were but I thought it was a mortgage company or a financial/loan company
How Fing stupid, no caller ID on their own phone, now that will help, I NEVER PICK UP IF I DO NOT KNOW WHO IS CALLING. At least we have this thing so I know to go pay the damn bill before they interrupt the service. The stupid idiots, don't they know that sometimes life distracts people, even after the late payment noticed. After 10 years of doing business with them, you would think they would understand that I do pay my bill and value my patranage more than whatever the bill is, probably $60 or $70 dollars. These idiots and their bottom line really are not to bright considering how many places you do not get service with them, true it is great in the big City, but what about Podunk? They can not spell it or get their, little own have service there and I like to travel. All At&T has to do to get me to switch services now is put out a competitive plan and I cam gone, screw them and their head trips.

This number called my daughters cell first, when she did't answer they called land line just seconds later. Did't answer, answering machine picked up, they left no message. We don't pick up on 800 or unknown.

on my sprint phone
called twice in 20 minutes
Sprint denies that this is one of their numbers and after speaking with a Sprint CSR, I reported the call to their fraud department. Both representatives stressed not giving personal or credit card information out over the phone.
I have had fallen on hard times and needed longer to pay the bill that what is normaly allowed and it has taken me 3 months to get my bill payed to a 0 balance makeing payment arangements and the day before I said I would pay the balance they call me 3 times! Can't the dumb nuts take a person by there word they can see I have been paying the balance down for that time!
Automated telephone call looking for a Lewis Herlan. Return number listed as 800-839-4359.
Got a call today, called *2, Sprint PCS, they were not trying to contact me. DONT CALL this number back, instead call *2 to reach Sprint...Dont call back!
Not sure why damn Sprint PCS is calling me. I don't have, have never had, nor ever plan to get a wireless phone. One reason is BS like this: calling me on a Sunday on my VONAGE landline (read: unlisted) with a recorded message trying to get someone else to pay them that doesn't and never has lived here.
After having the number traced, report it as a Phishing call to Southern Communications Services Wireless 800-818-5462 southernlinc.com
and to the FCC 888-225-5322
I reported this call to Sprint customer service since it is an auto dialer that asks for personal information. I was transferred to the Call Trace department who looked up the number and told me that this is a Phishing call. In other words, it is a hacker that is trying to get people's account information in order to use their service. I was advised that Sprint never makes outbound calls asking for personal info. In this case the auto dialer started off by asking for my zip code. I hung up. It is NOT appropriate for a Sprint representative to transfer you to the collections department because this is not a collections call. They are supposed to transfer you to the Call Trace department. This number is supposed to be reported by the phone owner to the police department as a fraudulent caller so that law inforcement can act on it. Also, it should be reported to Southern Communications Services Wireless on whose lines this auto dialer is operating so they can shut them down. 888-225-5322
This is the number for a Sprint Call Trace representative. 888-788-0788 or 913-315-7162
Any representative should be able to trace the number for you.
I just moved & got a new phone number. Sprint keeps calling me at my new number about some account that has gone to collections under someone else's name, even though I've never subscribed to their service! I've told them this & they've promised to stop calling, but they don't. They call several times a day.
shit if i need to pay my bills i will go direct to you guys, you don't need to bother my like that, shit. i never answer calls with 800-866-877 shit!
