Keeps calling - never had account with sprint or nextel, so how could I have past due account? hehe... DOH!

They asked to speak to my husband...I thought, but to make sure I asked again. They then said Accounts Payable...I said who? They kept saying Accounts payable. I kept asking who. Then I said who do you want to speak with? (My husbands name) in accounts payable...I said what? Then they hung up...we are not a business, nor a government agency that would have accounts payable. idiots...if it's sprint they can kiss my butt, I went for months without good service, they messed up my bills repeatedly, then tacked on an additional $500 when we switched to Alltel...oh well

I do not have Sprint service yet I get a call from this number anywhere from 1 time a day upwards to 5 or more times a day. There is always DEAD Air. I've dialed *57 three times now and Qwest says that they will contact them and tell them that they are HARASSING us. If this doesn't work, the next step is the Attorney General's Offices in both Idaho and Kansas as well as the BBB in both states. Let's see if this works. If it doesn't then it is on to Plan B...hehe.
They claim I have been using my phone all a long. I told them I haveven't had service for nearly a month. She said that is not true, you used the phone this morning. Which is a lie, the phone don't work, It says "NO SERVICE" and there is a red X next to the attenna indicator. I told her we have not been using the phone because the phone don't work, infact we went to Dollar General and bought two TracPhones. Which work a lot better than the Sprint/Nextel phones ever did. Then she said she was going to check something, she came back on the line and told me that there is no service in my area at the present and she was going to put in a repair order. I asked her, if there is no service, how is it that they show that we have been using the phones, She said she didn't know. I told them not to renew my contract, I am all done with these fools.

Just got called today with a voice to text message from sprint customer number 9702109887. Caught it on the recorder. The message used my correct first name and asked me to call 400 2600 43486 at a company called Metrick phone. It sounded strange so I checked it out on the web and found the Sprint customer number linked to the 1 800 808 1336 phone number. From all the complaints, it sounds to me like Sprint and possibly Nextel are paying an off shore collections agency based on the number of calls and repeated calls it makes without checking to see if the called numbers are associated with valid delinquent account ID's. So, Sprint gets cheated , We get harrassed and perfectly good service industry jobs get shipped out of the good old USA. Sound like another Win-Win to me.

This is Nextel, reminding of over-due account. However, if you let it go to voice mail, it plays crazy music, like I think they put the call on hold and that is THEIR music, very bad music.

I have never had a Sprint phone, and I've had this line for 4 years now. They call numerous times each day, at the worst hours - I just received one at 11:30 pm!!!
I wish I knew how to get them to stop. I have been on the Do Not Call registry since I got this number.
If I answer, there is no one on the other line. The voicemails have ranged from a pre-recorded message to live people with thick, foreign accents that make their words very hard to understand.
I am changing my number next week, and I really hope it's worth the inconvenience.

These are the ass wipes at Sprint together with next to hell NEXTEL. They have called several times, I blocked the number they were calling from, now they are calling from this number. I call the number back and it says I'm not past due. What are they selling more service, because when my contract expires this month I'm running to another carrier and not walking. Ever go into one of the retail store? They trip over themselves to sell the crappy service. If Sprint would spend the bucks on service vs the advertising, but no reel in more people and stick them with a two year contract!! The only things these idiots do right is scare off current and future customers as they are dumb as hell when it comes to customer service. Service is so bad even the CEO jumped ship last month. Current customers are leaving by the boat load due to quality and customer service issues. To head most of the problems Sprint canned 1000 of it's loyal customers that called in too much to complain about there bills. Hey Sprint do me the favor to and can me now, as I call in every month with bogus charges on my account they wave them, but the next month some other charge shows up. See ya Sprint!!
this is sprint, they are calling on a dedicated, unlisted, on the do not call list FAX LINE!!!! I have them on the phone now, i have been transferred 5 times and no body knows NOTHING!!!! They even transferred me to someone who only speaks damn spanish!!! I will NEVER have sprint, this is aggravating as hell. okay so they told me that i have to go to sprint.com and contact the corporate office and have them remove my number from the call list, that apparently my number was put down for a reference for someone else... sounds fishy to me!!!!
So I called Sprint to report a fraudulent account. And when I got a discount on my phone they duplicated everything to a new account but didn't transfer the balance. So I do owe $11. This is the collections department. It is not a fraudulent number like I thought.
Someone called and said we owed $11 to Sprint. They asked for our password. I do not owe $11 because I just paid my bill in full. When I asked what number was linked to that account they said that there was no phone numbers to that account anymore. I think they were after my password.
They leave a message saying they're from Sprint calling about a past due bill. Well hmm. I don't have Sprint and never have. WTF?
They keep calling after I told them I was lied to at the store level when talking to a mgr and I will not pay the bill.
A woman called asking for my son and would not identify herself. When I told her that my phone number is on the National No-Call List, she acknowledge that she is NOT saling anything. I did a *69 and 800-808-1336 was identify. Next day, I google.com that 800 number and tracked it to Sprint PCS. How can I block and report such saling doctrine? Thank you and God bless.

After talking to a rep on the phone after numerous phone calls I demanded that my number be removed from their dialer and that this was my cell phone and calling me charging me for money on an account that I have no idea who they were looking for is illegal. They apologized and stated it would be removed, well low and behold another day another 4 phone calls from that #. What is going on?

Number keeps calling me repeatedly. answered the first time and told them to take me off whatever list im on.... i never was a sprint customer, i currently am not a sprint customer, and i never will be a sprint customer... wtf is going on with their call center? must be run by a bunch of idiots
Repeated calls from this number, so as early as 8am. It's not uncommon to receive 6 or more calls from this same number in a single day, sometimes only 10 minutes apart (according to my missed calls log). Most times no one leaves a message, other times it is a partial recording that never identifies itself.
I sit on hold waiting to talk to someone who called me, THEN after 15 minutes they disconnect me! I'll no longer be a SPRINT Customer! SPRINT IS BAD FOR BUSINESSES!

If those calls are from Sprint, I have had no service at all. But They are calling 4-5 times a day from a few days ago.
This number has been harassing me for over two months. There is never an actual person on the line to speak with. After 5 reps claimed that my number has been taken off there list I am still recieving calls. Oh yeah, my service is with verizon!
Calls several times a week on cell phone. Leaves voicemessages also. Listened to one message (didn't want to pay the $$$ to listen to the other ones...), it was from Sprint, for someone I never heard of, with important info regarding their cell phone plan/bill or something. My cell phone service isn't even with Sprint... and it's not a 'plan' either. Calls are starting to get annoying.
This number is appearing on my caller ID every day. Most times nobody's on the other end. Two times I told them I never had any service from Sprint, they said they would take me off the call list. The calls continued though. The next time I got to speak to a human, I asked for the supervisor "Anasa" and she said sorry, my name was now off the list. I asked her to spell her name but then she was quiet for a few seconds, sounded like she pulled off her headset, then eventually just hung up on me. Guess what? The calls are still coming in. Time to sue these worthless Sprint bastards.

My caller ID showed 3 calls received yesterday and my answering machine had 3 messages: 2 identyfying the caller as Sprint and the third just a voice saying "hello...hello..."
i got this call a few minutes ago. i answered it and just got a message that said, please hold for a representative. but i hung up. and right away i googled the number. i did not recognize the number. BUT i do have a past bill. and i have many before but i never really get calls from this number. its weird. i guess that i should pay it.

Apparently Sprint based upon this website. However, I have never done business with Sprint and I am on the Do Not Call Registry.
I have received calls from this # several times, and yet I call Sprint CS and am told that there are no issues with my account, etc.. Very weird.
This is Sprint's billing number. They will call you at least 5 times a day if you're past due on a bill. When they start to call that often, it's usually the next day that they shut off your service. Be warned!
Dude.. this number calls my phone seriously like three times a day.. Today (January 19, 2007) as a matter of fact it called three times once at 8PM! But it's been calling at least twice a day consistently for a few weeks now.. I called the number back from a landline and it says thank you for calling Sprint... Wierd..I've never had service with Sprint either! Ima put myself on the DO NOT CALL list and see if that works..

I googled it and found out that the number is from Sprint. I got annoying calls so many times from Indian or Mexican guys, and I couldn't understand what they are talking about. They called my name wrong, and they just hang up.

This is Sprint's Billing and Customer service number. Google the number and it popped right up. Problem is I have never had any service with this company and after this I doubt I will.
