I just recieved there call. Laying in bed. I hear a female saying I know, I know, I know so, I get up to look at the caller ID and Guess who it is freaking...BUCKMASTERS.
I'm so tired of there calls. I've been getting calls since April 19th twice a day. I just ignore them. It's very annoying I know. I'll email there customer service dept. If they do not remove me off there database then I'll go to esupport.fcc.gov & donotcall.gov and see what happens.

I think Bass Pro sold my number to these people. The calls started after ordering my husbands Christmas gift. I know I unchecked the box giving them permission to share my information with third party affiliates.

Wow they call me 3 to 4 time a day, I just emeiled them, I'll see if that stop it. It has been going on for a few weeks now.

Call is from a company called Buckmasters which apparently is some kind of deer hunting Magazine or Deer hunting club. Called the number back was connected to a live person immediately and asked to be put on their do not call list. Agent was courteous. We'll see if the calls stop.

The calls stopped for a month; now they are calling again EVERY SINGLE FRICKING DAY! It is just plain harrassment. They have now created an enemy for life.

I get hang-up calls from these people ... say hello, hello, hello, and it's dead air, then they hang up. PLEASE people, go to donotcall.gov and start making out a complaint, it only takes a couple minutes.

I have asked them to stop calling me now 4 times within the last 30 days. I have spoken to a supervisor, Chris Newell... and told him to STOP CALLING ME and disrupting my time with clients! The calls STILL persist.

I have never done business with Buckmasters, and at this point, will tell all of my friends to also stay away from these wankers!

That number is in fact Buckmasters. They have a telemarketing dept in house, but few of their sales rep even hunt.

called the Buckmasters # of 800-250-2825, recording said that # does not accept blocked calls (?) and then disconnected. Called the other # provided of 314-215-3337 and recording said the # had been disconnected. As a final resort (!), called the CID # of 800-795-4567. A man with a big accent answered " Good afternoon, Buckmasters." I told him I wanted my # taken of their list. He said, do you mean you want it on the DO NOT CALL list? I responded yes, and he wrote my # down and said it would go to the IT department and be removed. Just to add to it, I said there was no longer anyone at this # interested in their calls. We'll see it this works...

Buckmasters, not asking if I want their magazine...but rather telling me that it's on the way and all they need is my CC info. Your experience may vary, but it is so funny how every time I hear from them all the salesmen have THE ABSOLUTE WORST SOUTHERN-GOOD-OL-BOY I've accent ever heard!

Really nauseating sales pitches aimed at me as "a fellow outdoorsman". "Ahh-m shur yer a hunter laah-k me and ya'all are eligible fer a special deal..." I mean REALLY SUPER PHONY, like Liam Neeson impersonating Slim Pickins! They seam to strap on this phony accent each morning along with their Gucci man-purse!

If these calls do not stop I will report these call's to the Government do not call register. When they get a hefty fine, they just might stop calling.

for years i have been hunting. 35 in total. i have hutned by my self all of my life. i have always hunted on public land all of my life. i have never gotten any big prize dear yet in all the years i have hunted. mainly becuase i am limited to going out there very far in the woods, because i have m/s. i have never worried about it until one day buckmaster came a callin. and said they would love to sing me up for free mags, and even a chance at a one in a life time hunt. i said you bet sign me up...3monthss later. a bill for every thing i said yes to. are you kidding me i said. they told me it was all free because i was disabled. and never gotten the chance to hunt like all of the big time t.v stars. i blew them off after many years of them calling and sending me letters saying they were taking me to court. i said call here one more time and ill see you in court. well on i went with my life and im still hunting public lands...and still have never gotten the chance to hunt any thing bigger then a 3 year old small basket 8 pointer. sure it kills me to not be able to hunt like these t.v stars. but at least im doing it the hard way, the real way. not on some set up farm or back woods were the dear come out as soon as they are set up in there stands. screw that. i drag my sorry ass threw the woods ever chance i get. so later for them and all there phone calls. i am the real true hunter here. and i am called ONEWINDWITHFIST.

Actually, I doubt the 1-800 number actually goes to Buckmasters. It may be "registered" to them, but guaranteed that it goes to the telemarketing firm they've hired to cold call. Sad part is the telemarketers have a job to sell everything they can on behalf of their customer (e.g., Buckmasters), but they don't directly represent their customers. The telemarketers are using auto-dialers to dial numbers supplied to them. Once a person answers, the "system" forwards the call to the next available operator, which is why if you answer it may take several seconds before you actually speak to another human. Hopefully they speak a language you can understand.

I've heard relatively recently that as long as telemarketers use a 1-800 number, the DO NOT CALL list does not apply. Somehow that must be the caller ID identifier that congress allowed so that the public can make a choice whether to answer (personally I never answer a 1-800 incoming call... it's always telemarketing).

If that doesn't stop, begin contacting all the advertisers/sponsors (buckmasters.com) which support the organization and be sure to cc: customerservice@buckmasters.com AND (importantly) lfigh@buckmasters.com (Lewis H. Figh, III, president of Buckmasters).

If there is enough "rebuttal" to their advertisers and on hunting forums, etc., they will hopefully re-think their strong-arm tactics. One can only hope.

These people called some time ago over and over. I finally answered and told them to take me off the call list. They assured me they would do that. Now, the calls have started again!!!!!

I too, signed up for the Buckmasters Hunting giveaway in Mexico. 5 days later, the calls began. The person at Buckmasters to call is Kevin McMurray. He is the customer service manager. The number is (314)215-3337. According to the FCC website, once they are given notice not to call you, they must not call you! I politely gave him my name and told him I had stared receiving calls and was informing him I wished to be taken off their call list. He took my number and told me he would pass it on to their marketing company and it would take up to 72 hours before the calls would stop. I am also noting the calls for a future FCC complaint. IF YOU DO NOT CALL HIM, THE CALLS WILL NOT STOP!!!!!!!!!!

My son received this call today at 8/22/08 12:14 pm. They identified themselves as Buckmaster's. They asked him about our address, phone number and then proceeded to ask him "will this be debit or credit today." Wouldn't give a name. My son stated that he didn't even know if he was ordering (the person first asked for my husband). The person (middle eastern heavy accent) asked my son "what is holding you up". He hung up. He is 15 yrs old and is know aware of scams. We are undergoing id theft and ever since we reported this to the state and Credit bureaus- it's gotten much worse. We keep getting repeat calls from this number at all times of the day. I just called Buckmasters home office # at 334-215-3337 and the gentleman I finally got sent to said he would send our numbers up to the telemarketing offive and have them put on a do not call list. I wouldn't hurt to try that too.

They call me everyday too! They ask for my husband, and I tell them he doesn't want to talk to them and please stop calling. They don't listen. This company started calling me last night. They are looking for someone that doesn't live here. I told them so, and asked how they got the phone number. Kelly Thomas lied and told me a Rebecca Mills gave them the number. She doesn’t know me, or this number. I asked for a supervisor to have the number removed; he put me on hold, and the phone went dead.

After money to sign up for a membership. Signed up for a contest and the rest is history. Have caller I.D. that pops up on my TV so I know who is calling so I don't have to answer the phone if it is an unknown name or number.

I finally got tired of this number showing up on our caller ID, so many times a day every day. These people do not leave a message they call so many times through out the day it is aggravating! When I call the number back I get a recording saying they are closed and their hours are from 8am to 9 pm during week days! I call between these times

I am receiving multiple calls each day, even though I called back and told them I am not interested.....how do you make it stop?

I was a buckmasters member once, until they made an unauthorized charge on my credit card. Over a year later, and having no contact with them, they billed my credit card for $126.90. I reported the fraud to my card company. Then last week I get an invoice in the mail from Buckmasters for $126.90. They don't need to call you to harass you. Just be glad they don't have your card number.

i dont htink that it would be wise to call and hang up. i would think that they would probably call you more.when i called i asked to be taken off the call list and they did..no need to call and hang up. they already new my number it was like they had caller id.

I just let it ring. Then I looked it up to see the notes below. I called them back and asked that they take our number off their list. The man that answered was very polite and said he would "take us off the list." We will see. The call took me just a few seconds.

Why does 1-800-795-4567 Buckmasters ... hang up when I answer? If I don't pick up they let it ring until the answering maching picks up and of course they don't leave a message. I think whoever is calling for them is putting in a "quota" of calls but not doing their job. I'm really tired of ALL the calls. How long is this going to continue. Perhaps I should find their website and write them directly!

In the past six months, I've answered two Buckmaster calls at work. Both times I informed them it was a work number and them to please take me off their list. The call center rep's response to my polite request were: 1st Call: "Yeah... blah... blah... blah" then hung up on me. 2nd Call: "Well... you shouldn't have given your number out to anyone" then hung up. They still call me and I don't answer. Really nice professional people working there...

I've been having the same problems and have sent them an email demanding that they stop calling. I informed them that if it continues any further, I was going to contact the Outdoor Channel, as well as the Federal Communications Commission and my state's Office of the Attorney General to file a complaint.

I just called Buckmasters 1-800-250-2825 and the gentleman said that the computers are generating the calls faster than what their reps can handle - he refer to this as "drop calls". He offered to remove my number for the database. Hopefully this works!

These people suck!!! I ordered something for my dad for father's day last year and now they won't stop calling me. They don't even listen when you tell them not to call back. Anyways the 1-800-795-4567 number is registered to BuckMasters and is applied to a cell phone used by a field marketing agent for the magazine who accidentally is dialing numbers as they are automatically and randomly sent to the cell phone via text messaging from the main database for marketing purposes.

OOOHHH they, Buckmasters, never stop calling even when you specifically tell them DON'T CALL AGAIN. I made the mistake 4 yrs ago giving my husband a subscription and even though I refuse to renew, they keep sending mags and keep calling. I thought if you told them to remove your name and not call they had to abide by your request or risk being prosecuted. What's happened with that??? They sometimes call 4-5 x's day and even past 8pm. I answered the phone after having about three calls this week from people who would not say anything, and had hidden phone numbers. The guy asked for my husband, who duh! was at work 10am, and he was loud and brash, and rudely said he would call him later. I guess we will see about that, huh?

I just got a call from them too. I didn't answer and the call went into voicemail. The message was about 7 seconds long and contained nothing but weird noices and some garbled human voice at the end before it cut off.
