A man's voice thanking me for my support. Wasn't asking for anything; just saying thanks! First time I ever received a call from them, and haven't heard from them again. Salvation Army is one of the few charities that spends most of what it collects on the needy they serve; somewhere around 93%. The reason they're picky about items they accept is that they re-sell them and use the proceeds to help the needy; they can't sell beat-up junk.
A recorded message from the Salvation Army seeking furniture and household goods to support their rehabilitation center in Cleveland. The Salvation Army is one of the worthwhile organizations and I always support them, both locally and nationally, with monetary donations throughout the year. I resent being disturbed with these needless phone calls.
No one answer back after I said "hello" 3 times.
computer call soliciting Salvation Army donations
hung up when I answered
My computer zapped the call.
Robo called the house and something about asking for donations. I hope that they do not call me again. Some time back I called them to donate some things and they got really picky about the items that I had, with that being said...the hell with them.

salvation army looking for donations
Call was automatically blocked due to being a toll free number.
Salvation Army. Wants money money money. Asked them to be put on the DNC list, but she said they could not do that. BS!
I wasn't here to pick up on the call but they did leave a canned message. The guy said he was calling on the behalf of the Salvation Army. They were looking for donations of clothing, furniture, and other household goods to be used at a new rehabilitation center in Portland, ME. He went on to say that if I had anything they would be glad to pick it up. All I had to do was call the 800 number to have the pick-up scheduled.
I don't have problem with this outfit or other non-profits but I wish these calls as well as political calls and survey calls could be prohibited by the FTC. Oops, lost my mind. Politics would always override common sense.
Message left by a computer. Very garbled and hard to understand but something about a truck coming to my neighborhood for donations.
They must be getting desparate in these hard economic times. They left a message because they will have a truck in my area for pick up. I quit donating to them in our area because they got so picky about what they would take. Look who gets to be picky now...
This number, 800-728-7825, is now being spoofed by a collection agency (didn't identify which in a recorded message).
persistant caller
This is the National toll free number for the Salvation Army Stores Donation line to schedule pick ups of donations. It is also known as: 1-800 SA TRUCK You can ask them to be put on their Do Not Call (DNC) list if you happen to answer the call and talk to someone. Most Non-Profit, religious or other charity organizations are very nice about putting you their DNC list.
Persistent repeat caller
Others have reported this number as Salvation Army. If so, I don't care that they're non-profit... while they're not legally bound by the DNC, they should comply. As it is, I will NEVER donate anything to them!
