Recording of Obama telling about his stimulus package then some goofball telling me to press 1 to reduce my mortgage. "You heard it straight from your President!" I pressed 1 and got "julie" who I told she sounded cute and should suck me off.

Message left with this call stated that it was from Credit Card Services, don't be alarmed, nothing is wrong, we can work with your lender to get you lower rates on Visa, MC, Discover, etc.

2009-05-29 23:36:36 UTCDave

I returned call and they said number was for escort service

National Health Care Association said I was pre-approved for health insurance for $3 a day and $99 a month. My name is Sam Parker, give me a call back at 877-827-7861. 5:37 pm on 5/29/2009 from 800-692-4482 Voice mail left on my cell phone and I am on the National No Call List.

2009-05-29 22:31:24 UTCchris

After your silicitated phone call, I thought I'll give you a benefit of doubt to give you a business, caller ID return number is not available.
how can you have good business relationship without dependable phone number to fellow up with. SCAM

2009-05-29 21:37:10 UTCML

Just received a voice mail today from a SAM who said i was preapproved for national health care for $3/day and my family could qualify as well.

2009-05-29 20:03:51 UTCChris

These ppl called saying I was preapproved for medical insurance for 99.00 a month. TOTAL SCAM!!!, No one sells Ins for the WHOLE family for this price. Guy's name was Sam, reading up in this i found out this name is a common name used for this scam (or there are 1,000's of Sams' that work there). He was very vague on the specifics of his company and the insurance. Gave no address and hung up on me.

2009-05-29 19:22:20 UTCLindsay

Ask for Sam Parker and they will tell you he is in a "Meeting". I highly doubt that he is even a real person.
This is not Health Insurance.

2009-05-29 17:42:32 UTCScott

Just received call from this number. Pressed 1 to get information on who was spamming me. Spoke with Louise. Offering lower credit card rates. Agent gave false business name of financial solutions based out of NY, NY and refused to give any address information. Refused to connect me with a supervisor and eventually hung up on me when I told her I would wait on the line for her to get me a supervisor.

Just got called from 800 - 692 - 4482 on my cell phone - Recorded message that we are "pre-qualified" for health insurance for $3 per day, and to call back on (877) 827-7861 to provide some information, ask for Sam Parker.

2009-05-29 16:56:25 UTCBob

I got the Health Insurance version from Sam(Stan?) Parker. I didn't answer, but he left voicemail with a call back number of 1-877-827-7861.

2009-05-28 20:47:51 UTCDoug

Solicitation for healthcare insurance. Definitely a scam.

2009-05-28 20:18:03 UTCBob

Vehicle warrenty spam - called me on a business line.

2009-05-28 19:11:52 UTCLori

A telemarketing call about credit cards.

2009-05-28 17:15:29 UTCTerry

A telemarketing call to my cell phone. I answered the call, but hung up when prerecorded message began.

2009-05-28 16:30:23 UTCMolly

Spam has been promoted from Warranty coverage on your car to Health Insurance. Sam Parker is their figurehead. This is shady. DO NOT GIVE THEM MONEY OR ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION!!!

Call back number: 877-692-4482

Has list of NY numbers, potential threat to finance, security, identity.

2009-05-28 15:43:48 UTCAngie

I answered the call from 1-800-692-4482. I waited patiently through the automatic recording that advertised of my auto warranty about to expire (and I don't have one by the way). So I pressed the option (1) to speak to a sales person. I couldn't catch what the person said when he answered so I asked again "who is this", he said Mark, I asked "what is the name of the company?", he answered Big Willie's House of Warranty (which obviously came up with nothing when I googled it). As I went on to ask how he got my number, he said from Big Willie. Then he hung up on me when I went on to tell him about removing my number from their call list.

2009-05-28 15:22:45 UTCJohn

This is one more spam call about the health insurance.

2009-05-28 15:08:04 UTCRandy

Reported the number to the Arkansas Attorney General's office for their investigation and prosecution of the companies involved in the car warranty robocall plague.

2009-05-28 14:55:40 UTCJesus

National Health Care, $3 a day. Sam Parker

2009-05-28 14:23:46 UTCEmily

Pre-recorded message with the same information as the last comment (Fred) about health insurance for $3 a day, ask for Sam Parker and call 877-827-7861.

2009-05-27 23:52:35 UTCFred McDavid

Recorded message that we are "pre-qualified" for health insurance for $3 per day, and to call back on (877) 827-7861 to provide some information, ask for Sam Parker. Sounds like "Cinergy" with the $3 per day deal.

2009-05-27 20:08:58 UTCTi

Same type of message as Calahan---U can report them to your Attorney General, consumer division--especially if you are on the do not call list.

2009-05-27 19:54:55 UTCRuben

This is a scam called, be careful, they called me saying that i won a prize but they needed to now what credit card i was using and the data it expired, but after i told them that i will give them the date but defenitely not the card number they hanged. Becareful and spread the word around

2009-05-27 19:24:46 UTCcalahan

Just received a call from this number, was a prerecorded message related to credit cards. Message was "We are calling about your credit card. Do not be alarmed, we are just trying to alert you to a much lower rate for your Visa/MasterCard/American Express..." I hung up at the point where I was asked to press 1 to speak with a representative.

2009-05-27 17:35:00 UTCCarlos

See david's comments...the exact same call

2009-05-27 17:27:25 UTCDavid

I got a call about something with my "VISA, Mastercard, or Discover card" (or some vague list of credit card brands). They then asked if I wanted to be connected to an operator so I pressed "1" to talk to a live representative. The live representative said "Central Services" and asked if I wanted to lower my rates on my credit card. I said "hang on, is this telemarketing?" She said no and claimed that I had called her. I said I would be reporting this call to the donotcall list and she said "Good luck!".

2009-05-27 15:36:02 UTCVanessa

This number called my cell phone. I never answer numbers I don't recognize, I figure if it's important they will leave a message. Well this was a person (most likely a recorded messge from a person) by the supposed name of Samuel Parker (repeated at the end of the message as Sam Parker) from the "National Healthcare Association", reaching out to uninsured people. I am fully insured, on a kick-ass insurance plan I might add, so this clearly does not apply to me. He claims to be able to provide insurance benefits for $3 a day, or under $99 dollars a month for my entire family. I am a licenced insurance broker and although I don't know the specifics, I can safely bet this is probably a piece of crap insurance policy full of loopholes, and would be a complete waste of money. He left a different number to contact him, which was 1-877-827-7861. This call screams scam-city, and I have no intention on returning the call.

2009-05-27 15:20:16 UTCike

Now it is Absolute Solutions credit card reduction

2009-05-27 15:11:10 UTCunknown

DO NOT fall for this I hung up and called back and the 800 number is temporary unavailable. Some kind of scam!

2009-05-27 15:08:51 UTCLane

Pre recorded message, push 1 for live person, I pushed it to tell them to get lost but the live person never got on.

2009-05-27 14:43:28 UTCJerry

I let it go to voicemail and the message was selling cheap "universal" health insurance. This is a scam and if I had to guess identity theft ring.

2009-05-27 14:29:27 UTCJeffrey

Called asking if you wanted a lower rate on your Visa, Mastercard or American Express card. We pressed option #1 "To talk to a live operator." After a wait of 2:45, a woman came on and asked again if we'd pressed #1 for a lower credit card rate. I asked who are you people and they hung up.

2009-05-26 20:38:31 UTCFed Up

Don't fall for this call from Rick Morgan. Begins with "Hey guys, sorry it took so long to get back to you, " etc. etc. Offering a 1.5% interest rate. It's obviously an I.D. theft attempt. DONT FALL FOR IT!

2009-05-26 19:03:05 UTCTrakfone User

Hung up during screening message. Hence probably an "answering machine connect" detector.

But, from the comment by "Hospital Office", we have to guess that this is yet another ID theft ring.

2009-05-26 17:18:13 UTCHospital Office

Received a recorded message about debt consolidation. Then a person (Rick Morgan)immediately called back and left the same message and number as received by another person reporting on this sight. I called to find out how they got my number. They said it was a random call. This is quite an admission from someone claiming to have my file. I cautioned them that it is illegal in this state to solict business with prerecorded messaging.
