How do I stop them from calling?
- Ask the unwanted caller to stop calling and put you on their do not call list (they are legally required to comply).

If they say they are calling from Local.com call this number 949-784-0800 and ask for a manager. They will contact the "off shore" calling center and get your number removed.
They repeadedly call and hang up after two rings. If I answer, they do not speak.
Woman with Indian accent called - wanted to verify that my business information was correct for the phone book. I told her I did not have a business and asked that my # be removed from their list. She said she would do so and I hung up. This is the third call from them, however.
Have been getting at least one call per day from them. Several times telling them to take me off their call list. They want to talk to the owner or manager. Called them back and they were very rude...so I was. Swore at them and they got very mean. Plan to try and block their number if I can.
Call numerous. Refuse to tell my wife why continue to state they need to talk with someone who's part of the business.
They have been calling several times a day for a couple of weeks. The few times I answered there was no one there, as though it were an auto-dialing system which would switch through to a human if the recipient of the call picked up.
They called my home phone number wanting information about the business that I own. I told them they are calling the wrong phone number and to quit calling me. They said they were calling the business line and no one answered. I said that they had not been calling the business line at all. Which they hadn't. She had an attitude and was really rude. I hung up on her.
Lots of silence when you first pick up which means a computer is dialing the number and the attendants don't get the call unless someone answers. Then when they finally answered they asked for the business manager or owner. I asked them what business? They couldn't tell me. I told them they have a wrong number and hung up on them.
I have had a couple calls the last few days where I got that silence and I just hung up not wanting to wait for the telemarketer. I think they will keep calling me nonstop so from now on I will set the phone down when they call and let them listen to silence.
This number shows up on called ID as Legal Club Am, I have told them NUMEROUS times that we dont want thier calls. They want to sell internet services, so the Legal Club is phoney. I am going to turn them in to whomever I can? Attorney general, FTC?
Anyone have an idea. Lets stop these time wasters! They call my business several times a week
I have asked several times for them to stop calling our number - was told by one caller (man) that several companies were using this route line and that he had not called before. I told him that we had been receiving 4-5 calls per week and wanted our number removed from their list. Asks for the manager - wants to update our local phone information - I have told them we were not interested and not to call back - but no luck. I see that others are having the same problem.

They said they were local online yellow pages and wanted to update my business info...seems fishy to me especially after reading the comments below.

They keep calling me several times a week and there is nobody on the other end. I try calling back and can only leave a message.

Also tried to sell me something; claim to be Discover. When I questioned somthign that he said, he hung up.
When I called back was on hold for 25 minutes until I gave up. Does not seem legit. If it is Discover---they better fix this!!!
I've been receiving 3 or 4 calls a day from these people--usually while I'm at work--on my cell phone. They never leave a message, and the one time I was around to answer I just heard a lot of backround noise and then they hung up on me. When I try to call back I get a message that the next available representative will take my call, and then 20 seconds later or so, I am disconnected.
