I received a call from this number. They asked for someone by name(not me). Confirmed number they dialed. She said they called because we show as a neighbor to the person they are looking for. They had my address!!! And, the one they wanted doesn't exist. Kind of creeps me out.

I've been getting calls, roughly two a day from this company. We called them back, told them to stop calling. It stopped for about a month, but they have started up again. We've never done any business with them, and I'm not even eighteen!

Nationwide Credit (800-635-1308) calls us at least twice a day. We have no business with them because we do not owe money to anyone, nor does anyone owe money to us. We have never done business with this company. We are on the national Do-Not-Call Registry, and I have logged in at least 10 complaints against these people. A couple of times I have answered their calls, saying, "We are on the Do-Not-Call Registry," and then they just hang up. Their behavior is extremely annoying because sometimes they call twice within one hour. WHY DOESN'T THE DO-NOT-CALL REGISTRY WORK?

Wanted to leave a message for my son, but would not say who she represented...insisted I write down the info and read it back or she would keep calling back. Very rude...even for a bottom feeder. So sorry Rachael, I don't play phone games.

This comapny called again. I advised them that I could put them into a voicemail that employees get their messages from, however, other ppl listen to those calls also. I advised that if it was a personal call, they should not leave personal messages in that voicemail.
The caller laughed. Imagine that.
So I asked if they wanted to leave a message in that general voicemail box, and advised them that personal messages would not be delivered, unless they were emergencies and only at the supervisors discretion.
The caller laughed again.
I asked if he wanted to leave a message.
He said " Yes, I will leave a message and hope the supervisor hears it. It would make my day for the supervisor to know the persons business"
Then he laughed again.
I put him into voicemail...but he chose NOT to leave a message.
He was trying to intimidate me. But I don't play that game.

These ppl call where I work, to the main switchboard that I answer for, asking for employees (that don't work there)..or employees(that do work there)but are not allowed to have personal phone calls during work hours. Our company is scrict about that. I tell them all the time that the employees they ask for are either terminated, or not allowed to accept personal phone calls. They laugh and threaten to come down and make me get the employee. I have talked with out legal department and they say I am within my rights to refuse to put the calls through because of departmental policies. Yet, they continue to call, sometimes as many as 10 times a day. Each time they are rude, pushy and "demand" that I "GET" that person "NOW"! One day I am gonna lose my temper with these buttheads. I am tired of them, and their threats to me, as a third party.

How do I stop them from calling?

  1. Ask the unwanted caller to stop calling and put you on their do not call list (they are legally required to comply).
  2. If your number is registered with the National Do Not Call Registry you can file a complaint with the FTC.
  3. Block them with a call blocker:
