I called Dell and they state that they did NOT call me. I received calls on my work phone, my cell phone, and my home phone within minutes of each other 2 days in a row. since I generally do not give out my cell phone number I found it strange that someone other than dell would have my direct line at work +cell+home. If it is not Dell then they have a serious breach of privacy. They are 1 of 6 people in the world that would have all 3 numbers for me.
call came through at 12:36 PM today and caller never disconnected call from his end now my phone is all tied up, cannot call out and no one can call in. Reported to Dell and all they said not their prob.
They wanted to know if my case was closed. They should have sent an email.
This number has called twice today and hasn't left a message...If it IS dell, as the other notes specify, I'm really confused as I don't own a Dell, nor have I been looking for one...
The call was from Dell tech support. They left a message on my machine with an automated message asking me to call them back about an open issue with them, leaving a phone number and an issue number. This was totally legitimate; I have an open issue. They just shipped some replacement parts.
This is Dell Warranty Division selling renewals of their maintenance contracts.
Yeah, my Dell warranty just expired too, so it's probably them calling to try to sell an extended warranty.
Called this afternoon at about 3:30. No message left. My Dell warranty has just expired, so it might be Dell trying to sell a warranty extension.
