i called Sprint Loyalty Group back and got money off my bill

2007-10-19 23:42:08 UTClee

didnt say anything when I picked up but calling the number puts you in touch with sprint loyalty group. probably calling cause my contract just expired

2007-07-27 23:09:53 UTCblah

It's Sprint Loyalty. They specialize in finding customers better plans and saving you money, ussually the people that the calls are to are people that don't use their plans to th fullest, or the go over on minutes or other features. They're free calls, so they don't take away from your minutes, if you want to be removed from the call list, ask them to, but don't ask then hang up, because they need you to verify your PW before they can do anything with your account. It's not a scam, it really is Sprint, it's called the RPA department, I work with people in that area.

They called my Sprint PCS cell phone and said it's a Sprint courtesy call. I wasn't interested in whatever they were trying to sell me.

2007-06-13 23:28:47 UTCAnthony

I'm a SprintPCS Customer... I got the call at about 6:25. I didnt answer and they left no message. Annoying.

2007-06-13 20:56:56 UTCJohn Cocktosten

Got this call at 4:55 PM... I am a Sprint PCS Customer... no message left...

2007-06-13 18:20:19 UTCLoretta

I received 2 calls from the 800-614-9021 number. The first time the automated message stated the company name but it was muffled (probabaly on purpose). Then music played as if I was on hold for the next CSR. I hung up as it was a waste of my minutes.

2nd call today and they hung up.

Is this cell phone phishing?

2007-06-07 13:19:23 UTCshana

Sooo weird. I had a message on my voicemail--prolonged heavy breathing and then someone whispering my name. I could hear office noises in the background. I do have sprint; the message was on my cell. But why would sprint leave me a creepy message like that?

2007-06-06 15:38:17 UTCCarla

Second phone call from them in a couple of days. No voice mail. Interesting to see it's from Sprint, my contract is also up, still deciding on renewing, guess that's what they are pushing huh?

2007-05-16 14:32:29 UTCCaterina

Ok this number has called me yet again, it is quite annoying because if I haven't picked up before for these Spring Loyalty Losers; why the heck would I do it now? Unless they want to pay my sprint bill-leave me alone!

2007-05-07 20:06:59 UTCRach

Don't call my cell phone; I don't know who this is.

2007-04-05 20:54:10 UTCChris Coe

Are there really enough people answering this 800 number that this is a viable spam method for Sprint. C'mon!! Don't answer it!!!

2007-04-05 14:50:36 UTCJonjd

Received a call this morning and did not pick up. This is the first time Sprint has me using this number..usually an 866#. My contract is up in 2 mos...only time they give a shit about you.

2007-03-16 15:06:01 UTCesther z

They always call in the morning and don't leave a voicemail message. That's how I know its not importatn. I know now that it is a telemarketer.

2007-03-06 15:20:05 UTCJJ

They call me about 5 times a day. Each time I tell them to remove my name and number from their list. Needless to say, they do not do this. I like Sprint, but this may force me to switch companies.

2007-02-08 10:51:36 UTCKJ

I have had several calls from them since I have been with Sprint.

I never take the call they never leave a voicemail.

2007-01-31 09:06:46 UTCmonica

I just got a call from this number, said they were with Sprint, and wanted to evaluate my rate plan to get a better rate, or something like that, but they asked for my password on the account. When I asked if I could look into this online, I said no, and told him I wasn't interested. This seems kind of sketchy, as there are other ways to verify an account, and if they are from Sprint, they should already know my password. But, maybe it's legit...I did receive something similar in the mail the other day.

2007-01-31 09:05:47 UTCRich

Yep, Sprint Loyalty Group. My contract expires next month and they were wanting to save me money with their new plans. I had to tell them their service sucks too bad.

2007-01-31 08:34:03 UTCJuan

Sprint Loyalty Group. They call in sales mode

2007-01-17 11:40:12 UTCAlex

I suggest saving the number in your phone and assign a unique ringer, a really quiet ringer. This makes it easy to ignore the call.

2007-01-10 18:11:29 UTCPissed

Not sure... but I'm sick of Sprint calling me every friggin' day... This isn't the ONLY number that calls, either. >:-(

2006-11-16 17:47:22 UTCCallee

If they're a "loyalty group" then how did they know not only my number but credit card holder's name? Guy on phone was nice, but whole thing is very sketchy

2006-11-16 14:46:55 UTCEX Sprint

I just saw they had called while I was out. I canceled them less than 2 weeks ago due to poor CS. Poor CS 2x over a stupid battery: Once was 1 day before Katrina (they were open but store was boarded up). They would not tell me over the phone if they had the battery in stock or not and made me bring it in. When I did they said sorry, we don't have any and said my only resort would be to deal directly with the manufacturer. This was when I needed a working phone the most! Just more recently I attempted yet again to purchase a replacement battery but only via phone. They flat out refused to sell me a battery unless I knew my "secret pin" which is apparently different from your online password. That was the last straw and I am really surprised they would be calling me now as I told them I was not going to put up with that kind of shoddy CS.

blah

2006-11-10 13:47:43 UTCDerek

received call, sounded like someone fumbling with the phone and talking in background, pretty weird that many people get this call.

2006-11-09 18:17:39 UTCJohn

I received two calls from this number in two days. I could tell how 'valued' I was as a customer when they didn't know who I was ("can I talk to the owner of companyname?") even though my name does appear on the bill. I called the number (just a message, you don't get through) and it identified as "The Loyalty Group". It is in fact "The Sprint loyalty Group". I called Sprint customer service (*2) and told them if I received one more call from The Sprint Loyalty Group, that I would be disloyal and not renew. They assured me I would receive no more calls. We'll see.

2006-11-08 16:17:48 UTCCarole Little

Sprint is our carrier and the call came in on my cell however no message was left and I didn't answer it.

2006-09-27 13:54:04 UTCMona

Glad I took the time to try
to figure out who this # belongs to...I AM with Sprint, but my contract ran
out a month ago and I'm still deciding if I want to re-sign with them...but
if they're gonna start harassing me, then I'm rather inclined to not renew my contract with them.

2006-09-26 10:47:37 UTCBob

Called my cell number at 10:49am on 26SEP06.

No message left.

Kinda rude if ya ask me...unless they realize they got the wrong number.

2006-09-19 21:52:30 UTCd

I got a call from this number and when I answered it, no one was there or they just didn't talk. My son has received at least 3 calls from them at weird times.

2006-09-15 05:59:31 UTCdamn sprint

This is a second phone harrasment. Different number. Before I had been getting an 866 # that is reportedly "working for sprint." What the fuck is up with this company and the random 800's calling me now. This one called at 10pm. I'm cutting sprint. Dont with them. Terrible service. Terrible reception. And I truly don't appreciate this treatment. I'd like to sue them for this.

2006-09-08 21:00:08 UTCMacEvelly

I got called and the guy asked for me by name. Once I said,"this Is him" the guy hung up on me. That doesn't sit right with me. Very rude, but sounds like somethings not right.

2006-08-30 21:03:53 UTCanon

I've received a few calls from this number over the past few days. No message has been left. I have not/will not call back.

2006-08-29 18:58:39 UTCAJWB

They've called my cell a number of times. I made the mistake of answering once, and won't do it again. I just let it ring.

2006-08-28 20:40:54 UTCAndy

I got a call around 4:40 pm, 8/28/06. When I answered, no one was there. I called it back, but no answer! Annoying to say the least.

2006-08-25 01:53:25 UTCThe Answer

It's the "sprint loyalty group" and they're calling to ask you how you like your sprint service and to tell you about all of their new plans. I called the number back and the gal who answered was very kind and, when I said I wasn't interested in it at the time, she said "have a great evening" and that was all -- no high pressure sale *whew*. However, I don't know why they had to call so late -- different time zone?

2006-08-23 20:27:17 UTCalap23

They call about once a month. Never leave a VM.

2006-08-23 16:48:24 UTCConfused

Same here, I got a call around 11 with no message...who is this?

2006-08-23 05:51:15 UTCChase

i got a call from this number early this morning while i was in bed. they didn't leave a voicemail... but i'm still curious as to who it was and why they called.

2006-08-22 22:49:48 UTCrezig

when i called this number back - it says it is the Sprint Loyalty Group

How do I stop them from calling?

  1. Ask the unwanted caller to stop calling and put you on their do not call list (they are legally required to comply).
  2. If your number is registered with the National Do Not Call Registry you can file a complaint with the FTC.
  3. Block them with a call blocker:
