How do I stop them from calling?
- Ask the unwanted caller to stop calling and put you on their do not call list (they are legally required to comply).
- If your number is registered with the National Do Not Call Registry you can file a complaint with the
FTC. - Block them with a call blocker:
Uniden DECT1288 blocks up to 20 numbers, plus Private and Unknown, with the reject tone, without ringing the phone.
Panasonic KX-TG106 blocks up to 30 numbers, plus all unidentified callers, with a busy tone, after the phone rings once.
JF Teck Caller ID with Ring Controller blocks up to 70 numbers, and can be set to always allow up to 100 to ring through.

Now they are calling and hanging up, no more long schpiel about how I am responsible for some deceased long lost third cousin twice removed who married my mothers best friends sisters aunt who occasionally sent christmas cards to my fathers nephews girlfriends brother who knew someone who knew someone who knew my mothers grandfathers fathers childhood neighbor.
Called and hung up. No one there.
They called, this time a computer voice telling me to press 1 to talk to someone, I did and I was disconnected. Leave me alone!

Called 3/12/08 about noontime. Someone on the other end breathing but didnt talk. I told them to "talk or else douchebag" and they laughed and said the cops were on the way. Getting reported again for their illegal collection practices.
CAlled this afternoon. My wife tried calling them back. She gave them the reference number then they asked if she was Steven Gadsen, she said "no" and told them to stop calling. Guy said they'll keep calling until they get their money from Steven and if she didnt put him on the phone immediately the police would be sent over to arrest her. Nice, huh?
This is a Probate debt collection Service. They are vultures, attempting to pick at what's left on the bones on departed people! The most despicable sort of scavengers!
They just called AGAIN! They are EIS, Estate Information Services, a debt collection agency for your dead relatives who owe money. They want YOUR name so YOU can be responsible for your deceased loved ones bills. Bunch of shitbags. Sorry for my french, but that is really low, I mean the body probably isn't even cold yet and these bottom feeders want money.
"This is an important message regarding a recently deceased family member blah blah blah. Please call this number immediately and reference the following number blah blah blah. This is an attempt to collect a debt."
Wow, these bottom feeders really are stooping to new lows. Glad they got the wrong number, Steven dosn't live here anymore.
