Who Called Us

Called just before 9:00 on Saturday morning, and then 5:45 pm Sunday. On Saturday, "Travis" asked for Warren -- I told him no one lives at my number by that name. He then had the audacity to ask whom he was speaking with. When I said no, this is not information he can have, I asked him who HE was and why he was calling. His response was "a personal business matter" and then asked again what my name was. I told him he was harrassing me and he was insistent he had the right phone number for "Warren" and that Warren had been reached at this number before. Then someone called on Sunday night asking for Warren. When I told her I was sick of these calls, she sounded like she was typing something and then said we'd be removed from their list. ?! I'll believe it when I DON'T hear it (the phone ringing!).

These clowns are insane! I had an auto loan with them, and they called me at least 15 times a day even if you're a day late. The funny thing is they claim you have a 10 day grace period. I've only been late once and this is how I'm treated? I've recently traded in that vehicle and the dealership has paid them off and they are still calling. I should have stuck with HSBC because they are very professional

These people are completely nuts. I'm a high school teacher and they call my SCHOOL and have been told by my principal that these calls need to stop! OMG, WTF, I am one day late and calls start that day! Wow, Wells Fargo will not get any support from me again.

I keep getting calls from these idiots, I do not have any bills with them. I only have 1 loan or bill that I owe and its paid up 3 months ahead with General Motors. Its fixing to be paid off soon. I owe no bills so where is this coming from. Me and my husband are retired. I know where this is coming from stupid Republican party owned greedy creditors who lie, cheat, steal anything they can get their hands on.

My daughter and her family was at a concert here in Nashville, Tn and this black person just came over and shown a light in my daughter face and told her and her family and kids they need to leave. Can you believe that they had done nothing eriod. They paid for their concert tickets of 8 and black bitch called the police and had them escorted out of the concert. I know what I would have done and I'm 65 I would have gotten up in her black ass face and told her to take a chill pill and get the freaking light out of my face or I will beat the crap out of her big fat ass period. I've had a STRING of Wells Fargo numbers call me. The JOKE IS ON THEM, I don't have a Wells Fargo Auto Loan, I NEVER have, and I haven't co-signed for one. But I get multipal calls daily, from 8 am to 8 pm. Wells Fargo are THUGS, LOAN SHARKS, THIEVES, raising interest rates when a day late, and refusing to take payments that are past due so they can charge MORE interest and penalty charges. And they do it all LEGALLY by our government. So people, if you've HAD IT, write President Obama with your personal story. Let him know policies haven't changed after our billions of dollars bail out to them. Have contacted me over 100 times in less than two weeks and have explain to them that the number their calling is for a different person. I had this cell phone for over 6 months. They continue to call and got tired of explaining myself. Talked to their supervisor and all he could say was sorry and still the phone calls continue. Another bank that needs alot of customer service training.

These people are INSANE and do nothing but harrass!! They call before a payment is even due. They call and say payment has not been made even after a payment has been cashed by them. The calls come from over 50 different numbers that I have noticed. I do not answer any calls from them anymore. It doesn't matter what I say or prove anyways they think they are always right. Their left hand does NOT know what their right hands are doing. I am paying off this loan ASAP and I guarantee they will still call me after loan is paid in full just like they do when I am current with my loan and payment has been made. If they need to say something to me they can leave a darn message!! WELLS FARGO AUTO FINANCE CAN KISS MY BUTT!!!!

These people call even if you are current with your loan. They are a joke!! Payment showed they were paid thru my checking account and they still called asking where the payment was. When I told them the amount was already taken out of my checking account they laughed at me. I hate to see what they are doing to people who are delinquent on their account!!!!!!!!!!!

For those who do not have business with Wells Fargo Auto and are getting these calls, I have a theory (especially if you are getting these calls on a cell phone). Two days before I started getting the calls I received two missed calls from an unknown number, when I returned the call and asked the guy on the other end why he had called me before he said "Oh, I think you have the wrong number." The Wells Fargo calls started soon after.

The theory: could scammers be calling up random cell numbers hoping to hear the voicemail message (with your name) and then using your cell phone number to apply for loans? (And not paying them) This would mean Wells Fargo Auto isn't the scam artist in this situation, but it is being manipulated.

But yeah, that's just a bitter theory I have right now.

I get 2-3 calls per week from this number asking for someone who I don't know and I've never heard of them. I have called 4 times to report the problem. They tell me that I should not receive more calls--and then two days later I get another call. For months. How can I stop them?

Ugh, I hate them. They call like 8 times a day, sometimes within an hour of their last call. Half the time, they hang up after I answer. They've been asking for my brother (who is not behind on his car payments, but has filed a lawsuit against them for slander) and I've told them every time that he's away for annual training for the National Guard and won't be home until July 5th, but they apparently are too stupid to get the message. I'm tempted to get our phone number changed.

I work in a company and we have no business with this company or whatsoever! They call me at work at the work telephone.... Does anyone have an adress or anything else from this company, so I can sue them for calling and taking valuable work time?

DO NOT believe them when they say they are auto finance services. they will ask for the last 4 of your social to "pull up your account" but it is not them!

This number has been calling my home for two months and is linked back to Well Fargo Auto Finance. Non of my family has ever had any dealing with Wells Fargo in any capacity.
I have reported this number, called their customer service and report them to the State Insurance Commission. Basically know one is going to take any action and let this company do as they please to and with the general public.

one thing you all can do is go here donotcall.gov put you phone on the national do not call list . It takes up to 90 days to get it roling because i think they only have to up date there DNC list every 90 days but once you on and they call you after that and you did not give them permision to they get a huge fine.. all the info is there at the .gov site tell all of your friends too . When i discovered this i Made an e-mail telling everyone i knew how to registar. and thanks guys I had no idea that it was wells fargo calling me.

Yet filing a report there does ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. I must have filed around 50 or 60 now for this company, each and every time they call I report it, and the calls still just keep coming.

I installed a caller ID zapper on my computer just for this friggin company and it has been hangin up automatically on them after 1 ring for almost 2 solid months now, and they STILL don't take the hint! You will most likely get a letter back from Wells Fargo supposedly apologizing, but really placing the blame on you (this is the phone number their debtor gave them, their collectors didn't really harass you, etc., etc.) Respond to this letter telling them why it's all bunk, and cc that letter to the OCC too (include a copy of the response from Wells Fargo).

IMPORTANT: if you are receiving mail at your home addressed to the person Wells Fargo is trying to find, send it back - with a note written on it that that person does not live at your address. If Wells Fargo sends you mail and you don't return it, they can assume that you must know where this person is and, therefore, they can start contacting you all over again. Better yet - if you get mail after you have sent your complaint letter, send another complaint letter about the mail! (don't forget to send a copy to the OCC!)

If they don't stop, keep a record of the calls. Call every Wells Fargo phone number you can find and ask for a phone number for the Auto Finance Legal Dept. When you get a phone number, call and ask for the name, address and fax number of the general counsel (or lead attorney) in charge of the dept. Write a letter detailing the harassment and your requests to have it stopped. If this is not your debt, state that you are a third-party. IMPORTANT: show at the bottom of the letter that you are sending a copy to the complaint dept. at the OCC (Office of the Comptroller of the Currency - the agency that regulates Banks and their subsidiaries - like Wells Fargo). The Fair Dept Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) governs collection efforts. If you are a third-party being harassed by Wells Fargo, or any other collector, you have certain rights. Here is a website with more information: fair-debt-collection.com Under the FDCPA, they must give you the name of the company calling when you ask for it. Even if you are a third-party they can continue to contact you if they believe you have information that would allow them to find their debtor. However, once you give them that info, or tell them you don't have it and demand that they stop contacting you, they must stop.

Have rcvd 3 calls today from 8:45am to 9:30am. I get a pre-recorded message that just keeps saying, "Please continue to hold, we'll be right with you." I just hang up. It could be Wells Fargo, but I don't do any banking/loans with them.

I received a call this evening from a supposedly Wells Fargo Collectioln agent. He had access to my SS# and home address and the name of my bank. He claimed that I was late on my payment and when I disputed he spouted information off about my account that was not entirely correct. This tipped me off and I refused to make a payment via online nor on the phone and he claimed that I will be placed as non compliant to the collection. I called Wells Fargo immediately after hanging up with this idiot who was extremely rude and unprofessional. Wells Fargo claims that my account is not deliquent and confirmed that I have the correct information and the other man was not correct. This was done without having to give any personal information to the person at Wells Fargo just my name and year/make of car.

I did run a serial trace on this phone number. Whatever you do , DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR SSN and ACCT NUMBERS OVER THE PHONE if you call them back or even answer the call. On one of my systems, it detected a FRAUD ALERT on this phone number using 8005652310, based on 'private analysis' phone systems. They are also calling my cell phone every day until I got fed up and did a little investigation. This phone number is NOT WELLS FARGO in reality. Its someone or a group of people masquerading as Wells Fargo. This information has been forwarded to the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

They have been calling my office non-stop for 3 weeks and never say anything but just hang up. I have called it back and asked them to stop only to be told by a lady named Cathy that when they call tell the person calling to take me out of the auto diler. How when it hangs up. Round and Round we go.

I am so tired of their harrassing phone calls, I am 1 payment behind. They call from morning till night; plus they keep changing their phone numbers. Why don't they show their real name and real number when they call.

Get them all the time. Unfortunately I do have two cars financed with Wells Fargo. Wish I knew then what I know now. This company has a terrible reputation. If you do not pay on the due date, the calls start the next day. Most likely my cars are going back to this bank. I can't see dealing withthem for five years.

called twice to my work number (one right after the other) and left a "message" the second time. when i listened to the message, it was an annoying YAWN!!! can you believe that! we have an auto loan through wells fargo but we're not late and this is the first time they've ever called at work.

I too, am so tired of the phone calls. I do not directly have a loan, my step son does, I co-signed and he is two months ahead of his scheduled payments as he would like to refinance with another company.

Got impatient and called them anyway. The guy who answered was nice. He took the phone number down and lloked it up to block it and then asked for my name and I told him i prefered not giving that out. He then asked me to verify that the two names he had werent me. After i told him I didnt know those people and that my number was a new listing he said he would block that number and remove it from their system. (we'll see.....)

They called and I didnt answer. After checking here I decided to try to call it back directly to verify it was WFAF. It did let me call the number back directly and i got an automated menu for WF Auto Finance. I do not, not have I ever, had any financing or banking through WF. I do not know why they would be calling me. Perhaps I will answer next time and play 21 questions.... hmmmmm....

If I am 1 or 2 days late on a car loan payment, I get approx. 10+ calls a day. Sometimes they leave a message and other times it is clicking and someone picks up to "hello, hello" on my voicemail. When I answer to make my payment, they want you to give them your life history and personal info including SS#. So when I tell them since THEY CALLED ME to read me what info they have and I will tell them if it is correct, they get really bent out of shape about it. So sorry. And I also remind them EVERY SINGLE MONTH that I hate my car but am stuck with it and they are loan sharks with the interest they are overcharging me on this crappy car. They really have no responds to that but I feel as if it makes up (just a little) for them calling seven thousands times a day. I absolutey hate dealing with this guys. Late or not, they are still jerky with you.

They've been calling me several times a day for the past couple weeks. They don't leave a message. When I have picked up, they ask for "Jeanna". After about 10 episodes I got irked and the caller said I'd be removed from their list. I've had several calls form them since and each time they've promised to remove me from the list--until today; a different voice told me I'm not on a list. Extremely irritating!

I called the number back and had them take me off their call list. The person I talked to was very helpful and sincere. He apologized, even though he had no idea who was calling me and why.

I got a call from this number. When I called back they identified themselves as Wells Fargo. They proceeded to "fish" for my personal information which I would not give them. They said they could not look up my account without my address, social security number, etc. When i would not give it to them they got frustrated and hung up. Called back again, woman answered and asked for my address. I said why don't you read it to me and i will verify whether it is correct or not. She got angry and said that they needed to make sure the bill was going to the right place. I said it is because i just got one thanks. Then she got extremely rude and said "well, you don't own your car, we do so we have the right to know where it is at all times." I told her that since we had gotten calls from this number fishing for personal info i would not give any out over the phone and she shut up then.

This number is Wells Fargo. They are a terrible company to do business with. We will never again do any kind of banking with them. They keep adding $101.00 insurance charges to our car loan even though we have a letter from their insurance carrier stating we are cleared of all insurance charges because we have our own. They add it on but we don't pay it. For months they have been harrassing us telling us we are overdue on our payments. We have made every payment on time, but since we don't pay for the stupid insurance we are "overdue". This has been going on since we got the loan last year. I'm ready to get a lawyer and sue them!!!

Collections Agency for Wells Fargo Auto out of West Virginia

Hello! this number what's happening. they called several times back to back. Never have even dealt with Wells Fargo. didn't answer and they didn't leave a message. This has to stop!!

I'v been getting this number too for the last 4 days or so. And when I get answer the phone there is nobody there. Its really starting to make me mad now. And they never leave any messages either. Its causing firghts now with me and my boyfriend.

I have a loan through Wells Fargo Auto Finance and these people call my number when I'm only 1 day behind on my payments!! I'm SO sick of their harrassing ways! I'm happy to say that I was just approved to refinance my home and I'm going to get enough cash to pay off my Wells loan so I don't ever have to deal with them again! I will also tell everyone I know NOT to EVER do business with Wells Fargo as their business ethics stink!

My auto loan is through Wells Fargo Auto Finance. In the past year or so they seem to have re-worked their entire billing system: my payment coupon book is no longer valid, for instance, and both my payment address and my account number have changed. This is the number they call from to try to communicate these changes.

I just got off the phone with wells fargo, they said that this number does not belong to there company! So beware! Almost sounds like its a scam of some sort! After reading all the postings here. They called me and when I answered I got a recorded message to call them, which I did but I was on to them immediately and refused to give them any info. Wells Fargo has my info and would not ask for it. I refused to speak to the rep. telling her I would go to my local branch manager as I was not behind nor had I had any problems with my car loans. They have now called me twice at work. The first time they asked about my car payment which had been made the day before. The next time when I returned the call the first thing they asked for was my social... then they didn't know what the call was for. I am now worried about having revealed that info so quickly. These assholes call all the time, 10 times a day under a plethora of different numbers but all end up being Wells Fargo. They call anywhere from 8:00 AM to as late as 9:50 PM. I dont see how anyone could work for this place and be able to get out of bed in the morning and be proud of what they do. Verified to be Wells Fargo Auto Finance. If one is late on their auto payment even by one day they will call. Quite annoying as one has a grace period of 10 days after the due date to make a payment. b.s.

They cant leave messages weekdays before 6pm, if you all would just call the number back you would probably find out you are past due on your auto loans or if it is wrong number they will remove it. it is autodialer at call centers and the reps are just doing their jobs. They can only call numbers left on accounts so either you gave them whatever numbers theyre calling or else someone put your number and all you have to do is tell them its a wrong number. this is a collection agency i know everyone hates people trying to get their money but pay your bills or at least see if your payment may have gotten lost in the mail or something. You may just be able to eliminate these calls.

This number called my business line, asking for myself. Unsure who was calling me, I directed them to my voice mail. They left no message. I do have a loan with WellsFargo. So from the past posts I would assume it was WellsFargo. Does WellsFargo have any respect? They have my personal information as well if they need to contact me.

I have received calls on my cell phone from this number. The times range from 9:am through 9:pm. They do not leave a voicemail, and if I answer I am asked to hold by a recording.

Ok, I have an auto acct, due to our pay schedule I make the payment a few days late every month, it is due the 11th, I get a call on the 12th, tell them it will be pd on 15th, and so on, usually it is fine and that is that, this month they called the 12th, told them it would be paid on the 13th they called on the 14th sat at 8:30am told them it was pd, he said oh I see, sorry it is an automatic dialer, I thought that was it, they called again yesterday the 16th, said it was paid she said she saw, I explained I had already explained this on another day, she said they were doing an update to their computers and apoligized for this call and anymore I may recieve, I checked my bank acct, the money has already been taking out and I got another call today the 18th, I was not here when it came in, and they just said Hello on my machine. This is insane. I know it was late, although when we got the loan the person told us the 15ht would be fine that there was a grace period. NOT!! Usually, I must say they are not real rude, and it is only one call once they talk to me, but this month is really bad.

Geeze wish I knew all this info before we got our loands for the car and house they call here all the time! 800-565-2310 number when they call don't leave a message, and if you answer it, there no one on the other end or they just hand up in your ear! They have called "52" times now from April 1, 2007 and today date is Apirl 16, 2007! In 16 days they have called 52 time with this number only! This is just Nutts and should be illegal! IF THEY DONT LEAVE A MESSAGE OR WHEN YOU DO ANWSER THERE NO ONE THERE OR THEY HANG UP "THIS IS ILLEGAL, AND CALLED TELEPHONE HARRASMENT! We should get a class action lawsuit against them for this. It would be different if they would leave a message or talk to you when you anwser!

I get a call from them every day. I am glad now I know whoit is. I am never behind on my payments so they muct be wanting to sell me some credit card. Drives me nuts. I do not answer.

received two calls from this asking for someone that does not live here.

I have gotten 10 call from this number yesterday (3-29-07)! I get at least 4 to 12 calls a day from this number! Never leaves a message, pick up the phone and the hang up in your ear! So if I am around the computer when they call i just have it pick it up as a fax! My wife works 3rd shift and trying to sleep and is annoning for her as well!

I have also been getting calls from this number for someone named Roberto. I was shocked to find out that another person who posted here has also gotten calls for "Roberto". I also have a Tracfone and NEVER give out the number. Is this a Tracfone scam?

They have been calling our office frequently and hang up when we answer. I called them back and told them to take our number off their list and they said they did. We'll see.

I received a call at work from Craig with Wells Fargo asking me to call him back. I don't have anything financed with them and don't know how they got my number. I did not call them back.

Just went and paid in the bank, the bank manager told me that the Auto Finance department is not linked to the Rest of the bank, so even if I make a payment directly to the bank, the call center does not know or care... They have even gone as far to deduct $$$ from my bank account without my knowledge, I had to file a report with the FBI fraud division to get the money put back in my account...

They call repeatedly (2-3x/day) asking for someone who doesn't live here. Called back once - they asked for my SSN, then, when I refused, asked for my acct. no. They are "vishing" and have no relation to Wells Fargo, as far as I can see. Do not give them any information of call them back. We have no accounts with them at all, let alone an auto loan. They've also used the 610-226 number with us.

I keep getting call from this number on my cell phone .. They always want to talk to a Ralph. They do not give me there name... pretty rude. It seems that someone gave them a wrong phone number ... Next time I will tell them to put me on the do not call list, or to correct their records.... I hate to be called at 10 p.m.

Talked to a live person..My payment one day late is what she told me. I was aware of that and paying it today anyway. She asked to confirm my address which I made her do. I asked the woman about calling so late and she said it was an auto dialer. Wasn't awake enough to ream them out for the late call. Thats the part that torks me off since they woke me up from my first sound sleep in a week. I too will be calling the states attorney to get these calls stopped at late hours!

They - Wells Fargo Auto Finance - call as soon as I am a day late with a payment and continue to call day-in and day-out. They are business-like and acomadating when I pick up and talk to them. The moral to the story (even though I hate it); just pay on time.

Man named Arron called said he was calling on personal business to our business line asking for an employee. He would not say what company he is with.

I have a loan with WFAF. My loan is due on the 20th. I start getting 4 - 5 calls per day every single day after the 20th - they don't even wait until the account is 10 days late. I've never dealt with anyone like this and I will certainly never work with them again. Today I was told that I can write a letter to this address & fax number and request that no calls be made to my number. Will try and see if that works.

I asked to take a message, a woman who identified herself as Robbie gave me 800-565-2310 as a call back number. I asked for the name of the company and she replied, "it's personal business." I said then perhaps you should call the person at their home instead of their work.

Don't have a dog to kick, so I call these guys as the spirit moves me hassling their "agents" to remove my number from their call list.

Lots of calls from 800-565-2310 on my cell phone looking for "Ali". I've had the number for 4 years and never dealt with them. Requests to remove my number from call list are given lip-service and ignored. Last call number showed up as UNKNOWN.

I spoke with a "supervisor" identified only as Chad "GC- 37" Chad refused to give me his full name or home phone number so I could call to complain.

I keep getting calls from these people. I just got a new cell phone number, and obviously the jerk who had my number before owes them and others money.....I want to rip their heads off, they are so rude to me.

Apparently they just Wells Financial just merge with Well Fargo Auto or vice versa, anyway I had one payment left, we made the payment on a Monday which paid the car off, then they kept calling until I spoke with them on Thursday, and they couldn't see the payment so they were showing it late. These people are idiots...... And we trust them with money.

We have never done business with this company. When I asked what they wanted, the person (a woman) said she would ask the questions, not me. I put the phone down on the nightstand and left it on for about 20 minutes, went back and they had hung up. This was at 8:05 a.m.

I am CONSTANTLY being bombarded with these calls from Wells Fargo Auto Finance. I've requested them to STOP all further communication and they tell me that they put "notes" under my name but they obviously do NOT abide by this. I pay my bill EVERY MONTH and ON TIME. I know for ALL FUTURE auto financing that I will NEVER use them nor recommend them.

Message basically consists of someone woman saying 565-2310(not even 800 or zipcode)over and over and then their hours of operation. Nothing else

They've employed a new strategem...

Lately they've calling, and saying "hello" twice, then hanging up, without identifying themselves. Sometimes it is a male, and sometimes a female.

They do this not just during normal business hours, but also on weekends, holidays, and yes even in the middle of the night.

Truly a bunch of thugs with no morals.

they call and say that we need to call them about our car loan and the first thing they do when they get on the line is ask for you account number and social security I knew I didn't have a loan with them but thought maybe my bank sold them the loan soon as they ask for my social I told I didn't have a loan with them and she said they would remove me why were they calling anyway asking for personal info.

i get call atleast once every day, they dont leave message, today i picked up their call and they said it's for personal business. i said robin is out of country any message and personal business i got replied.

Wells Fargo calling because I was 5 days late on my payment. I was in fact late but there is no need to harrass someone in this way. Next time I will use another bank and never do business with them again.

Wells Fargo calls many times a day, sometimes over 10 times a day. First time they call is sometimes as early as 8:30am and keep calling until as late as 9:30pm. They call even on Sunday's when I'm in church. I tell them to stop calling so many times a day. I've told them that their calling is harrassing and they get very nonprofessional with me. I ask to speak to a Supervisor and usually Supervisor apologies. These people are so annoying. Wells Fargo has so many phone numbers. I have put them in my mobile phone and usually ignore them when they call now. But on my home phone, there is no name on the Caller ID just the phone number. There needs to be a law against so many calls a day. This is harrassment. The Better Business Bureau says that calling 10+times a day is legal. Can there be a way to put a stop to it? Can the government do anything about it. I am on the Do Not Call List. What can be done.

I know this is from Wells Fargo Auto Finance. They call about 5 times a day. When I do talk to them, they say I owe money but the amount always changes. I pay my car payement the 14th of every month. we keep getting calls at a spare phone in my office from this number and after a short hold they ask for someone that has never been in my office. I received a prerecorded voicemail at work from them asking me to call them back at 800-565-2310 and listed their odd business hours (open past midnight), no other details were given. I do no business with Wells Fargo and have no idea how they got my work number or why they're calling me, if they really are Wells Fargo, which I highly doubt.

I don't have this company as my provider for anything and they keep calling me everyday about two times a day. Sometimes it is a person who asks to speak to the head of my household, at other times it is a message which gives me an option to press 9 in order to be removed from their calling list, which I do EVERY SINGLE TIME they give me the option and they still call me, and call me. I am on the do not disturb list and these guys don't take a hint. I have gone as far as telling the persons who call to make a note of that, and when I do, they hung up on me. Their actions are beyond making a mistake, they are just plain rude.

Within 5 minutes of activating my pre-paid phone these people were calling me trying to sell me auto insurance via automated message. They do this under two different numbers. The other is 610-226-2300. They call 1x each different number each day.

they called me sunday evening. wells fargo is not open on sundays. i have talked to wells fargo 3 times this week and they have no reason to call me. all they have done is harrass me. i totaled my car and my insuarance paids the car off. why are they still calling?!?!

I am going crazy!!! for the past week i get at least one call a day. If i pick up its a recorded voice saying "please hold" or "please wait someone will be right with you". Then i give up after about 5 mins and hang out. They're relentless... and I was denied my auto loan.

I receive a call every day at WORK!, every day at home, and every day on my cell phone. I have stopped answering because the caller ID reads UNKNOWN and UNAVAILABLE. When they call my cell phone, I usually get a long voice mail that has no talking, only about 2 minutes of hissing. Some days they call several times in a row. When I answer, there is a recording that says, "please hold for an important call." I'm at work! I do not have time for this!!!

Wells Fargo is very annoying. I do have any account with them but it is up to date paid. Yet for the past couple of weeks they have felt the need to call me on my cell, at work, and at home just to ask if I would like to refinance. I told them no the first 12 times they called...now I have to screen my calls.

One Saturday I got to the phone and answered it on the 2nd ring it was them trying to get me to sign up for a credit card. The message left on my cell phone is from Wells Fargo Auto Finance; however, the number itself does not show up on the Wells Fargo Auto Finance number database. I am not sure if it is even that company. I do business with them, but all of the numbers that are actually Wells Fargo have an 866 prefix to them.

They called me at 8:09 p.m. (mountain time) on November 5th. This is also very odd because the actual Wells Fargo has never called me this late.

The company behind this number is Wells Fargo Auto Finance. I have received possibly several hundred prerecorded telemarketing calls from this firm so far this year, which have traced to various phone numbers (some with a toll free prefix, and others with a regular area code).

I have complained to my state's Attorney General, whose assistant responded with a letter about a month ago claiming that the situation is being investigated. However, the calls have continued.
