KEEP CALLING ME TRYING TO GET ME TO SIGN UP FOR A CAR LOAN. I KEEP TELLING THEM NO AND NOT TO CALL ANYMORE. I WILL PROBABLY REPORT TO NATIONAL DO NOT CALL LIST. I AM SIGNED UP WITH THEM ALREADY. THEY NEED TO FIND A BETTER JOB.
They were asking for someone named Michelle Orange.

I CANT STAND these people!! They call me 7 DAYS A WEEK,AT LEAST 6 TIMES EVERY DAY,and NEVER LEAVE A MESSAGE. Ironically, I also get MANY-up to 8-10 Calls from UNAVAILABLE,IN LESS THAN 5 MIN AFTER THE PREVIOUS NUMBER! NEVER leave message, and only let it ring 2 or 3 times. I WILL NEVER ANSWER,AND I AM SO FURIOUS THAT THESE HOODLUMS CAN HARASS ME FROM 8AM TO 8:58PM EVEN ON SUNDAYS!
calls every damned day! "This is a message for..."
I'm sick of these calls. They never speak in person. They are looking for someone who I don't even know! They call every day, sometimes twice a day. I filed a complaint about getting calls from this number a month ago. No reaction.
They call for someone we've never heard of--we have told them over and over we don't know the person they are asking for. They keep saying it's a business call.
leave me the hell alone....this recorded message is a joke!! they cant get the computer voice to say "Lisa" the correct way. But if I am not Lisa than they give me a certain amount of time to leave the room for the "very important" message. Maybe if a real human was on the line that knew how to say my name I would talk to them so they need to *uck off
called me early in the dang morning and again later after 9pm. Shown up as uknown, didn't answer nor did they leave a message.
I just called the number said" I keep getting calls from this number, id like them to stop."
She said she would take my number out of the system.
So we will see if she actually does.
They keep looking for richard, they call me like 5 times a day.
Lots of specialists argue that mortgage loans help a lot of people to live the way they want, just because they can feel free to buy needed stuff. Moreover, a lot of banks give credit loan for all people.
I've been getting calls from this number for months, for someone named Zac Zumudio. Sometimes the messages are in English and sometimes in Spanish. I have tried and tried to get them to stop calling me. This guy must have had this number ten years ago. Isn't there a time limit for credit agencies to stop hounding you for old bills?
Anyway, if you get the number from the end of the call, the case number, they say they will stop the computer generated calls. We shall see.
If they are harassing you for someone else's bills, call them back, and keep calling them back until they promise to take the number out of their computer.
just called and said call this 800 number
Phone call began with "THIS IS A MESSAGE FOR..." and then silence. I'm still waiting for them to tell me who they want to speak to. 20 seconds later a beep and it hung up on me. Sad when a collection agency doesn't even know WHO they are to collect from. If this place is in Carrollton I'm within toilet papering range...
Every body remembers that life seems to be not very cheap, but different people need money for different issues and not every one earns enough money. So to get quick mortgage loans or small business loan will be a correct way out.
I might be first to come out and admit this on here BUT...
I OWED COMCAST OVER $200 FROM ABOUT A YEAR AGO. AT THE TIME I JUST DID NOT HAVE THE MONEY TO PAY THE BILL.

I got a recorded message from this number asking for someone named Zach Zumudio, and if you respond to this message, you are admitting to be Zach Zumudio. Someone named, Zumudio had my number about seven years ago and every time they are looking for someone with that name, the credit agencies keep calling me. I usually call them back and yell at them, but this one has it figured out with their taped message.
Never ending calls. Thanks, Scrotalina, for the tip. RJ, I appreciate the suggestion of not answering no matter how tempted. This site is great!
Those who say "I have no debts, so they shouldn't be calling me" should get a fresh copy of their credit report. In my case, somebody stole my identity, and the company whose services they stole turned it over to this collection agency (CMI). When I got my credit report, I discovered a big stinky doodoo left there by CMI. It would appear that they want to get monies from folks who are in the middle of a re-fi and want to quickly get rid of the doodoo on their credit report. I have heard that paying off CMI for somebody else's fraud might not get rid of the CMI entry in its entirety; instead, the credit report might show that a debt went to collections, and was later paid off. I wonder how these folks sleep at night knowning that they are simply misleading and then ripping off the victims of identity theft.
Numerous calls. Obviously a scam.

These people keep calling and calling, we are on the no-call list and we are a business. They keep looking for and Eduardo, and we have never heard of the person, nor has he been in our employment, and you can't get to these people to tell them to stop calling you. I need to report to the no-call list on this one!
this people call daily, i also dont have any debts outstanding, they seem like a fraud/scheme. they had my name right, but then wanted me to provide them with address to verify who i was. bull .... dont give them shit. if they are legit, they would have your address and would have mailed you a bill. when i said i would not provide them with info, they hanged up he phone, i called back, did the same thing, they hanged up the phone again, 3 x in all. asked for manager, voice mail came for manager to leave message. sound bogus. anyone actually seen legit debt collected by this people?
I have received a message from this number concerning Andy Martinez. He does not reside here at 575-524-4253. We are going thru a divorce he has not lived here in 18months. so to whom it may concern please do not call anymore. The only numbers I have for Andy Martinez are 575-932-9651, or 575-932-9650.
Thank You So much for handling this matter.

Keep calling them back on their own number..they eventually answer, then I ask for the person they have been asking for, they say nobody by that name is here...I called them back about 100 times in 1 day....the calls to my unlisted number have finally stopped.
I too have been getting many calls from this phone bumber 800-543-5788 I finally have anwered and told them I don't speak english, I have also answered and told them they just called california and it's 5 o'clock in the morning....then I asked for their supervisor, They hung up on me........
have received about 20 hang up calls from 800-543-5788 Finally answered it today, got a recoridn says please hold for an important message..repeats, repeats, repeats, finally a human comes on the line asking for someone that's not on my phone. Then proceeds to tell me their account says that this is their phone number, how long have you had this phone number they ask? I say long enough to be frustrated with you calling me STOP CALLING ME. The calls start at about 8am and have gone as late as 10pm 7 days a week.....
With viatalk I can:
set the incoming call to hear busy
set the incoming call to hear "blacklisted"
set the incoming call to hear "blocked"
set the incoming call to hear "disconnected"
redirect the call to any number I choose: RejectionHotline.com numbers are great for this
redirect the caller back to themseleves so they can enjoy their own hold music
I can filter by part of a number (this allows blocking all toll free numbers)
I can filter by part of a caller id name
With PBX in a flash I can keep them on hold indefinitely, torment them with my own IVR menu, etc etc
ViaTalk.com
pbxinaflash.net
This is a number used by a debt collector (Credit Management Inc.).
LOOK OUT: they use callerid SPOOFING
Remind them they are in violation of the Telecommunications Act, calling without the intent to communicate, if they call and do not leave a voice message.
--
I have no outstanding debt. ALL my calls are filtered by PBX in a flash :P PBX in a flash is a custom build of Asterisk and is therefore free to use. STOP abusive calls. YOU ought use Asterisk to CONTROL who is ALLOWED BY YOU to ring your phone or automatically dumped. Setup whitelisting: only numbers on YOUR approved list may call you. Alternately try viatalk if you are not technically inclined
I will be discussing this with the District Attorney, on the grounds these people have not confirmed who they are talking to, nor does the person they are asking for even exist. I like the rickrolling idea, but they just hang up until the next one comes along. We need to identify their employees and get their personal information turned over to other collection agencies.
im already registered on the do not call list and yet these people chose to call me back. Now im reporting them.
Well Mr Phelps just got his self rickrolled.
Lots of PC to phone software out there lets you call 800 numbers for free, just sign up with false info, dial up mr phelps and pipe him some rick astley. Never gonna hang you up :) Much lulz.
Calls will not stop - asking for the same person on a recorded message each time. A 3-second "option" is given to hang up if you are NOT the person they are trying to reach. That should be enough to make the calls STOP but they have continued for over 6 months. Don't know what else to do.
have no idea who these peopl are need to stop calling me
I too have been getting calls from this number. Fortunately my home phone# is a VOIP line that lets me block incoming calls from certain numbers. Now, since we all have the phone#s of this harassment agency, I think we should consider some different numbers.
Numbers we can never know? How many people man their phones, and how many people they harass via autodialer. But I imagine the latter is greater than the former.
Numbers that remain constant? There are 1440 minutes in a day. Donate a few of yours, waste a few of theirs.
Bonus points if you use a public phone and convince them it is your (or someone else they are looking for) home phone#. Should provide much amusement to passersby.
I keep getting a recorded message from "Rebecca". They name someone else, then give a 3 second delay to make sure you are that person and to insure privacy. They then proceed to give the personal information without even knowing that they have the wrong number!
these fuckers keep callin me tellin me i owe them money when i am not someone they say i am
it ringed once on my cell then they hung up,

I received a call from "Rebecca" at CMI...this evening.....with the 3 second delay to "acknowledge" if it is not "me".....(I wasn't home, so I guess, it must be me?...) I am in bankruptcy and there should be no calls at this time.....I called back the number 3 minutes later, and they were not "open"
I will be calling my attorney tomorrow and also the district attorney's office to report fraud and harassment...!!! The message repeats my name (aggressively)several times
and leaves a personal and threatening message about collecting a debt ( for my children to hear).... This is straight out harassment and CMI needs to be reported
to the city district attorney!!!! I will do that tomorrow...(as, unfortunately, I think, that the d.a.'s office might really be closed.... I am so upset!!! call your officials on this!!! Please,,,,and post your comments...so glad for this site!
If you can't seem to get Mr. Phelps attention you may want to visit this address:
4627 Pine Valley Drive
Frisco, Texas
This is Mr. Stockton, owner of CMI, Credit Management and THe CMI Groups home address
I'm sure he would love to hear from you. Or for fun you could "zillow" his address and "accidentally" send it to his neighbors - I am sure they would see that he gets it.
Have fun
Been receiving this call for months on my cell phone. They always call on a Sunday and leave a recording to call Mr. Brockett's office.
Been receiving messages on answering machine. returned call to find out what was going on and when the caller asked for my phone number and I refused to give to him .. he hung up. Definitely a scam trying to collect personal information. Scary in this day when so many people are in financial difficulites they may fall prey to this kind of tactic's.
I received a call this morning from the 800 543 5788 number claiming something will be disconnected but it was a recorded message and I couldn't catch what it was so I called back the number Eastern Standard Time at 9:50am only to have an automated message tell me to call back during "normal business hours" and identified themselves as CMI management. I am glad to have found this site so that I know I'm not alone in this awful scam company that is calling and disturbing me. This happened on my cell which makes me angry because of the use of my daytime minutes to take a call like that, and that I am at work so I don't have time for stupidity.
This company had call sporadically in the past, maybe a couple times a week. In the past, I was not able to get an operator or they only went to VM. Finally over the past couple days, they were calling 2-3 ties a day. I answered the call yesterday just before 8 am. It was for a debt for someone else in a different state. I told them they had the wrong person. The creditor ignored this, kept asking me to pay and then got really nasty. I told them not to call me again and she said that they will now being calling none stop. Well she is right. Yesterday they called 4 more times from different 800 or 866 numbers, but left the same VM. This morning their calls started at 5:11 am. Please do not answer the call!! They are this aggressive over $78 and know it is not me...What will they do to you?
I received a call from this number @ 8:34AM today and when I started to ask questions they got testy and finally hung up on me when asked to talk to a supervisor.
The recorded message asks for a specific person and gives you 3 seconds to disconnect if you are not that person. They call almost daily. Typically when I call the number back it is a steady busy signal. I actually got to speak to someone today and they assure me I will not receive any further calls. We'll see!
it's a scam...............just want to collect your personal infor.
just tell them to fuck off......
rebecca-credit management
pre recording.
My huband tried to call back like they said, in the middle of the day and they said to call during business hours! They gave this web address: cmipayonline.com for him to go to to pay the debt. I looked it up and put in the reference number from the message - but it said it couldn't find it in the system. I'll just keep deleting their messages. It's not us.
Everyday I get home, and there's a message or two from 800-543-5578. It's a recording, and it seems to have already started before my voice mail even begins, which is weird. Anyhow, they're apparently trying to collect a debt from a woman I've never heard of before. Isn't it great (sarcasm implied) when someone gives out a fake telephone number, and then allows a complete stranger to get repeated calls regarding a debt that has nothing to do with them.
I received a call from this number. She identified herself as Rebecca from Credit Management and left a referance #. Said to call back. I do not have any debt and have never had debt. When I called back they wanted private info. When I refused to give it and asked what this was about they said that without the info they couldn't talk to me. I asked to speak to a supervisor. When she came on the phone she again asked for private info. When I refused to give it she hung up on me.

Ciao
I received half of a message with male voice to ....Call Mr Brocket's office 8005435788....I do not know who this is and I will not return this call......
I reported to FCC but they said they couldn't do anything even though I am on the "Do not call Registry." I get calls like this at all hours, sometimes more than one a day. I have no debts and am not behind in any payments of any kind.
mr phelps has been calling me for months and only on sunday mornings between 8:30 am and 9:00 am this sucks how can i get them to stop calling
They call my cell phone every 2-3 days with a female automated recording asking to call some male back.
Based on a small research that I have done, it appears to be CMI Credit Management, LP - they deal with bad credit, or people in debt. I'm in debt for school, but I didn't think they would call when I have made all of the payments on time?
Mr. Bockett's office called identifying themselves as a collection agency. I called the number back. I foolishly gave him my phone number which they had already called hoping that this would give them the information that he needed to verify why the agency was calling my number. He asked me for my name. I refused until he gave me the reason for the call. He refused until I gave him my name. I refused again. He said, "Until I verify who you are, we will continue to call you. When you help us with this, then we won't call you no more."
When he used that language, I knew something wasn't right. I said goodbye and hung up.
no clue who they are, but answered as CMI.
I don't know who they are or who they are looking for (I don't answer), but they just called twice in the last 30 minutes. They usually call twice a day, almost every day.
CMI Credit Management, LP is the company that's calling ... back in May I had to disconnect my service with AT&T Home Entertainment to upgrade to another AT&T service called U-Verse. Of course they had to install new equipment and the guys installing the new service could not take the old equipment with them even though it was the same company. There also isn't a local place to drop off the equipment - they require you to mail it through UPS to one of their warehouses. I mailed all three boxes back to AT&T on May 23rd. I starting getting calls from 800-543-5788 and then a collection notice followed. CMI associates aren't very friendly ... called AT&T since they never called to say they haven't received the hardware and they stated that they don't have a collection department and send everything directly to CMI Credit Management for collection. Strange thing is that AT&T checked on the equipment and two boxes have been checked in but not the third ... how can this be when they were all sent back in the same box? This seems like a scam to me for someone to earn some extra bucks!
For the last few weeks I have this message on my work phone when I get to the office in the morning. I had a hard time understanding the name she had said on the recording. Sounded like Mr. Obama's office but not really sure. Yesterday I called them back held for like 10 minutes and finally someone came to the line and said that they were not calling me. I said well I'm getting a recorded message everyday with 800-543-5788 as the call back number and he said it had to be a mistake because they do not place any call out's from that number. So needless to say I got nowhere. Again this morning I had the message on my phone again. This time I did not delete it. I told the man that this was a place of business and to please take me off of the call list. Of course he said there is not call list because we do not make outgoing calls........I got nowhere!
i have recieved these before, and yes, it is from CMI...thanks for the research whoever did it!!!!! yes, lets send for info from any website selling crap and use that email address!!! work from home scams and online surveys would be great!rphelps@thecmigroup.com
Just keeps repeating "Please call Mr. Ibagna's office" over and over.
when they called me they said it was mr roboto and it was automated
So I've received a few calls in the past few weeks from this number. Get the recording that's halfway through when I check the voice mail. But just today I received a call from 6193774133 saying I need to call the 8005435788 concerning a business matter. Anyone else getting calls like this? I am just oh so curious what this important business matter could be!!
Mr. Phelps. Who is this??
Would not give information. Sort of threatened to keep calling. Thank goodness I have caller ID.
The message is Call Mr. Phelps with the above number. Now there are also some other calls coming through from other numbers with no name id.
yep, it's that idiot Mr.Phelps again. they threatened to put a $20 debt on my credit report. I said "gee, along with the bankruptcy I just had last year?" "ok, what's the case #?" "you're so smart, you figure it out. now pissoff!"
The cell phone said 512-351-7455 but it was CMI Collections Management International, 4200 International Parkway, Carrolton, TX 75007 and gave a phone number 800-543-5788
This guy started some Collections agency, and we all can thank him for being an a-hole.
Victims of Randy Phelps UNITE!!! I say SPAM THE JERK!!! Someone else was kind enough to locate his e-mail address for the rest of us:

I am also getting the annoying "Mr. Phelps" calls.
I have put my number on the Indiana "do not call" list...
If these calls continue, I will be forwarding the info
to the Indiana Attorney General's office.
I get this call every single day. It just repeats over and over on my cell phone voicemail, I wonder if I have to pay for this crap. I called them back from a land line, the girl just kept insisting that I give her my cell phone number, I said "No, you need to tell me who and what you are and why you call me every single day!!!" she told me she could not carry on a conversation with me without getting my cell phone number, I told her I was not an idiot, that no she could not have my number. Of course they won't quit without the information they seek, how can they if I don't give them what they want, a**holes. I am trying to figure out how to block them on my cell phone right now, but I am sure they have more than one number to call from. I am mad that they even have my cell number, I have only given that number to a select few and certainly not Mr. Phelps... this is b.s.
i got the same exact message....obvously was a recording cuz the message was already almost over by the time it got to voicemail.....ANNOYING
Got the annoying call at dinner time, I hate these people. I see they are proud of where they work, they can't even put the name of the company they are with on their caller ID, losers.
yep i got one too last night
i was like wtf?
Mr. Phelps? Sounds like "Mission Impossible"!
