Lot's of calls and I never answer my phone and let it always go to voicemail. Finally, one of my children answered the phone and handed it to me. I told them that I was the personal assistant of Mr. X and was authorized to take a message. After telling "Gino" how much trouble I would get into if I didn't get the appropriate information he gave me his phone number and extension. It's toll free which means it costs "THEM" money and time everytime someone calls them. Here is "Gino's" number 1-800-538-5814 extension 169. Wouldn't it be nice to call them a thousand times just to say "Hi Gino!"
They call my home early in the am and late in the pm and refuse to say who they are.
We tell them not to call and they continue to call anyway.
Will not say what it is about.
i picked the call up at my friends house, she has been getting annoying calls. the caller id said incomplete data. the caller was very hard to understand, bad english, maybe carribean island or middle or far eastearn accent... very hard to tell. finally got HSBC and personal account out of her... and the 1-800-538-5814 telephone number. looking this up online has given me a clue that they are probably overseas, and pfishing, and want money, or personal info, or both.
broken english.............no tell me who da are and no speaka any goo engrish
HSBC constantly calls my cell and drives me insane! My caller ID says it is either restricted or an unknown number. I don't answer either. When they do leave a message they never tell me what it is about or anything.
they did it again. I don't know what they want or how they got my number, but they are annoying.
I get several calls from this nimber (almost everyday!) the woman spoke the number so fast I had to play it 7 times! just to understand it to write it down! I'm glad I found this site-I'll be sure to ignore it until I get a letter from them in english!
They call work multiple times during the day knowing I work second shift.
I receive calls on my cell phone 3-4 times a day from this number recently. Caller id is blocked, so I couldn't see who it was, and I am generally at work when they call, so I don't answer. Sometimes they leave a message, but the English spoken by this company is incomprehensible. I finally deciphered the return phone number, and looked it up (thanks to this site), and discovered that it was HSBC (a financial corp). I called them to find out what it was about, but was unable to understand the speaker. I asked for a supervisor. He explained that a mistake had been made, and that someone had thought that a store credit card I had was past due, but that they were mistaken. He apologized and said that they would stop calling me. These people are very irritating, as they call several times in a row. When you finally speak to someone, they put you on hold every couple of seconds, and ask for a lot of personal information before they will tell you anything concerning the reason they called you. If you have any store credit cards, then there is a good chance that you will be pestered by this company sooner or later.
Personally, I would not bother calling them back. It took me a good half hour to find out what was going on, and it turned out to be nothing. They thought that I was late on a payment, but when I called back, they found out they were mistaken. If you get a call from this company, just wait for them to send you a letter. It will save you a lot of time.
This place (HSBC) calls my cell phone about 6 times a day. My caller ID always says "Unavialable" and never gives me a call back number. Then when they do finally leave a message thier english is so broken and bad that i cant make heads or tails of what they say. they speak too fast and to broken to understand. It took me 3 voice messages over two weeks to finally figure out what number they were saying. all in all i have had about 6 calls from this place a day for nearly 3 weeks.
