How do I stop them from calling?
- Ask the unwanted caller to stop calling and put you on their do not call list (they are legally required to comply).
- If your number is registered with the National Do Not Call Registry you can file a complaint with the FTC.
- Block them with a call blocker:
Uniden DECT1288 blocks up to 20 numbers, plus Private and Unknown, with the reject tone, without ringing the phone.
Panasonic KX-TG106 blocks up to 30 numbers, plus all unidentified callers, with a busy tone, after the phone rings once.
JF Teck Caller ID with Ring Controller blocks up to 70 numbers, and can be set to always allow up to 100 to ring through.

whenever I get calls from these f*ckers i just keep them on the line as long as possible acting really interested in the warranty and get them to talk as much as possible, then at the last min, when they want my CC info I let them know i have just wasted 10-30 mins of their time and my card number is 2231-2343- go f*ck yourself you stupid c*nt. gives them a little bit of the aggravation we have to deal with every time they call us. I encourage any of you with a little free time to keep them busy so they dont bother as many people and maybe we can ruin their day just a little bit too...

Today I received 6 separate phone calls from this number. Each time the message they left was drastically cut off. When I tried to call back, my phone service said it couldn't complete the call. I wish these types of companies would actually follow the do not call registry. The message they left said it had to do with "last chance to reclaim my car" or some "...coverage. This is the final call before we close the file. Press 1 to speak with a representative now about your vehicle. Press 2 to be removed from the follow up list."
I hate solicitation calls!!
Call from 1-800-465-7962 - no message - Called b4 about insurance expiring etc. Un-cool
This company is annoying. Good comments from Mark. I will save this site to see the developments. I would be gladd to be part of a class action suit. They made the warranty sales calls to my company's bus fleet and I was just lucky enough to get the calls when I was trying to get rest. Tonight the call came in on my wife's cell. Keep up the good work.
Another call about government money for people facing forclosure
After a little looking around I found the registered owner of the number 800-465-7962 is Rolinium in Long Island City, NY. You can call them direct at 718-609-9700. I have called and registered a complaint with them on the demon dialer attack on my phone with unwanted solicitations with false identification. If the number calls back, I will post another message here along with the way to contact the FCC direct with a complaint. They are in direct violation of 3 FCC regulations. Federal charges can be filed, and with enough complainants a class action suit launched to make the company cease and desist operations until a full hearing is conducted.
Second call in 2 days from the same number, this time they are offering government bail out money for homeowners in foreclosure. Press 1 to be connected to an operator to help you avoid foreclosure or press 2 to be removed from the database. Guess I will be posting another message tomorrow from the same number. How did they hack the phone system to display false information and a disconnected number? Isn't that illegal?
Called about final notice on auto warranty. I don't even own a car anymore. I haven't owned one in 4 years. The last new car I purchased was in 1989. I did press 2 to be removed from the database. Will post the next call from the same number, which by the way is not a valid number.
Called my cell phone. I just put my # on the do not call list. He was selling health insurance - supposedly. I asked him how he got my private #, he said from a marketing list. I asked to be put through to marketing, he hung up on me. I called the 800# back and no listing exists for the #. He probably subscribes to the service where he can pick any # he wants to show up on your caller id. He had a thick, garbled accent and he did not sound professional at all.
when these douche bags ask for yo credit card number say 1234-5678-9101112-13141516 muhahaha
someone from this number just called my cell phone! The Today Show did a story on this and YES, IT IS A SCAM!!!!
Is there any way to stop this?
Auto warranty. Get a Police Whistle. I did! Giv'em a Blast. Now I look forward to the calls. Got a good loud one from Academy
Stupid.. They call my SkypeOut Number.
They calledat 14:22 today 5\4\09 I answered they said one word and disconnected. I just had our number changed due to the previous owner having debt collectors calling all the time. Media Com switched numbers and I get the same. Today they supposedly gave me a clean number. Back to the call, I called the number back don't waste your time. It will say you misdailed or you need to call your phone service provider to connect. I called Media Com instantly, since the number is unlisted\unpublished\do not call. Media Com dailed the number and got the same message "have your carrier make the connection. They found it unusual!! They then gave me another number that is supposed to be a virgin.I've already logged it with the do not call. Media Com has no idea who they are.
i got a call from this number when i was on the other line with my sister...never gotten one from this particular number before but have recently been getting calls from 509-935-0671 about a car warranty (and i don't own a car...) i've been told they are all scams...so don't answer
national healthcare advisors?
Left a message on my cell phone. Your warranty has expired, press 1 to connect to an operator, press 2 to be removed from our follow-up list. Funny thing about that second option, the recording had already stated that this would be the final attempt to offer coverage before they "close their file" on me.
Got a call from them this afternoon. It was a recording for a new credit card and I pushed "1" to be connected. I asked who they were and they said "Financial Administrators" ... I told them I was filing a complaint with the "do not call registry" and they hung up.
call came in on cell phone. tried to call back and got message "not a workong number." then dialed from my land line and message said "can't be completed as dialed." think this may be one of the many numbers used in the car warrenty scam.
This is your second notice car warranty. I got this call alot of times with different #s. what the hell they want from me???? it seems like a scam to me..
This is your second notice car warranty. They wouldn't give name of company. Is there any way to stop this?

computer message practically screaming at me to call the government loan network immediately and leaves some phone number
They called my work number. When I answered, there was no response & they hung up after a few seconds.
They are pushing some kind of health insurance. 'National Healthcare Association' they called themselves.
government loans for cheap. when i called the first thing out of the girls mouth was "name" then "credit card number please". i asked for what and she said "identity verification". hahaha, yeah right!
I didn't answer and just looked up the number. They didn't leave a message.
err... below
didn't bother answering... tnx for info from others above.
This Invalid number was given as CID for one of those Car warranty crap call. "This is your second notice ...". Yeah right. Stop it already, you are costing me money! Evil thought: Maybe my pre-paid mobile phone company is behind this?
called my cell phone; unable to call back
They were solicitors offering a chance to buy health insurance benefits for individual and/or family.
When I pressed one to go to the operator to explain that my number was an office number that several people uses, and they may want to update their calling list to exclude businesses like where our work. The live operator guy hung up in my face.
Just yesterday I came to this same website to report another number that was a vehicle warranty solicitation and the exact same thing happened. I pressed "1" for the operator and when she came to the line and I started to explain myself she just hung up in my face.
