How do I stop them from calling?
- Ask the unwanted caller to stop calling and put you on their do not call list (they are legally required to comply).
- If your number is registered with the National Do Not Call Registry you can file a complaint with the
FTC. - Block them with a call blocker:
Uniden DECT1288 blocks up to 20 numbers, plus Private and Unknown, with the reject tone, without ringing the phone.
Panasonic KX-TG106 blocks up to 30 numbers, plus all unidentified callers, with a busy tone, after the phone rings once.
JF Teck Caller ID with Ring Controller blocks up to 70 numbers, and can be set to always allow up to 100 to ring through.

annoyed... same issue. They call from 2 different numbers, up until 9 o'clock sometimes later at night. They never leave a message. Its to the point they call me at work for this. Meanwhile, nothing has been done... calls still keep coming and I wont give them my information... they claim to have the information why do they want us to give them the information.
This is the second number that dell has used to harass us. They say we are behind in our payments. We NEVER had an account with Dell. We don't own anything made by dell. We finally got a supervisor who wanted a social security number. We won't give it to them. We told the supervisor that we NEVER had an account. She said she would send us an "investigation report" form but needed our address. Reluctantly, we gave her our address. She said she would email the call center & tell them to stop calling us. They still called for a couple more days. Then, the calls stop. To date, we have NOT received the investigation report form. All this took place in May08. Now, we're getting calls from this number which is listed to Dell Financial Services. I have received the form from my State's Attorney General's office & will be including this number with other number to them & they will be contacting Dell to find out what's going on.
