How do I stop them from calling?
- Ask the unwanted caller to stop calling and put you on their do not call list (they are legally required to comply).
- If your number is registered with the National Do Not Call Registry you can file a complaint with the
FTC. - Block them with a call blocker:
Uniden DECT1288 blocks up to 20 numbers, plus Private and Unknown, with the reject tone, without ringing the phone.
Panasonic KX-TG106 blocks up to 30 numbers, plus all unidentified callers, with a busy tone, after the phone rings once.
JF Teck Caller ID with Ring Controller blocks up to 70 numbers, and can be set to always allow up to 100 to ring through.

This number called my home not once, but twice at 5:30 in the morning today - a Sunday! When I answsered the second time they just hung up. It is very annoying to say the least and actually illegal according to FCC rules.
Whoever this is they called my house at 7:43 a.m. on a sunday!
Protection One - Called regarding credit card payment decline due and showing "card expired." Gave them new info and problem resolved.
this is protection one from my credit card. they call all the time and I never took out the policy to have this money taken from my account. they call very early and I decided to cancell this credit card since they will do nothing to put back the money they have taken for this phoney plan that i told them I did not want.
Automated: " Hi this is Kathy from Financial Freedom, you may recall receiving a letter...." I hung up!
Call came on my cell phone at 3:43am!!!!Of course, no message.

Call came 8:08AM Saturday from this number, but when I answereed no-one responded. When I called the number back, it was the customer service line for Protection One.
