Unsolicited calls from "HSBC" requesting a reply call without any other information. No account with HSBC. Not going to happen.

HSBC also used to offer auto loans. Unfortunately, I have my auto loan through them. They begin calling before 9:00 am and will continue all day long (generally once an hour, but sometimes more frequently). These calls begin 3 days after my due date! Since their call centers are based in India, they also call on Sundays and holidays. Nobody is ever on the other end of the line, it simply tells you to call. When you call, you may or may not get a person. They no longer issue auto loans or I would warn people to NOT go through them.

How do I stop them from calling?

  1. Ask the unwanted caller to stop calling and put you on their do not call list (they are legally required to comply).
  2. If your number is registered with the National Do Not Call Registry you can file a complaint with the FTC.
  3. Block them with a call blocker:
