Brain dead monkeys from ERC calling you. These untrained monkeys can't back up anything they have on you. They pay good money for worthless debt that can't be backed-up. They call once a day and use robo dialers. Hoping you'll call them back and pay up. Why would you pay if they can't even tell you what you owe the money for? Another collection Agency gone bad!

Fed up with the calls? Capitol Hill is responsible for this mess.
(Our corrupt politicians).
Check out the link and see what I did to these credit card collections hogs.

Don't give these scum-bags one bit of info and not one red cent of your money.
If people would quit paying these bottom feeder collection agencies, they would
all collapse. As they say in the Wizard of Oz... be gone, before somebody
drops a house on you.

Amanda: The FDCPA forbids collection calls to mobile phones on the theory that they should not incur cost. Collectors have a TCPA exemption they may use in their defense. Anyway, by written notice you can specify how, if ever, you should be contacted.

All: If you are receiving misdirected or abusive calls from a third party debt collector, you may find relief in the provisions of the FDCPA, which regulates collector behavior and provides you simple tools for your own defense. It grants you control of how you are contacted, and collectors can be sued for their crimes. Learn your rights and first response tactics at FTC-dot-gov.

800-390-7586 keeps calling my number also. ID says Out of Area, If this is a legit company why don't their names appear on the ID as a professional company should. Or send a legit letter to whom you are looking for!! and stop bothering people that shouldn't be involve and leave us alone. I hope someone SUE the hell out of you!!! There are people that pay their bills every month and on time.

These people call my blocked # daily looking for someone that does not live here and call from a different # every day. I have had my # changed and they managed to find me again asking for someone else. Sounds like a Debt Collector but I think its a SCAM so now I am not answering!!!

these people are collections for any card that you have with GE Money Bank or Paypal credit

Reported: Oct 12, 2009:
This an agency who bought my JCPenney account.
In November 2008, JCPenney or GE Money Bank, the bank who issues the JC Penney credit card, altered my account payments, the payment date, and also the payment amount, after checking my credit report. JC Penney even reported my payment being late, which I had to argue because I had proof I paid on time.
To make a long story short, a consumer has a right to review the same information a creditor sees. I was denied that opportunity. In fact, I wasn't notified properly, as I asked the Enhanced Recovery Corporation to look up the US Certified Mail number mailed from JC Penney to show I was notified of the changes. They didn't come up with one, and can't prove I was notified. They are only concerned with the collection amount...but this is on my credit report for the NEXT 7 YEARS. I even wanted to negotiate with JC Penney, but the company deleted my online account information so I have no access to the information anymore!
But my next step is in November 2009 (one year from the initial problem )to inform the proper federal agency and report on these bullying companies and bank, and possibly see if I can sue JCPenney, GE Money Bank, and this ERC company because my credit is screwed for 7 years by negligence.
PS And just to think: I was a JC Penney Customer for 21 Years, and this is how they treat a loyal customer.

robodialer calls and then says "Please hold for an important call from ERC"
and then no one comes on the line. Awesomely stupid and annoying

How do I stop them from calling?

  1. Ask the unwanted caller to stop calling and put you on their do not call list (they are legally required to comply).
  2. If your number is registered with the National Do Not Call Registry you can file a complaint with the FTC.
  3. Block them with a call blocker:
