I have gotten 6 calls from this number in the past 2 days. I don't answer calls from 800 numbers. I called back and could hardly understand the message. I have no loans and no account with this company.
This number was HFC Beneficial and they were calling to collect on a loan. The loan was not mine, but someone of the same name. I do not think they do their research and just search the phonebook for their numbers. They also call many times a day and also very early in the morning. Most of the time I answer and there is no one on the other end, but finally I was able to talk to someone today.
HSBC Beneficial.... Predatory lender at it best. You will never get ahead if you are late on a couple payments to these folks. With the late charges, interest charges, over limit charges, and the fact that they decide when you payment will post to your account, sometimes 10 days. Gotta make sure you are LATE!! Wow, run as fast as you can!!!!
I just got called now..1 of MANY! They never leave a message. I mean if they know that you arent going to pick up, then why call several times a day. They are extremely annoying! And yes i have answered a few times...they ask for me and they always get the last name wrong...well...if ya get it wrong then its not me..hah..SCUMBAGS!!
They call many times a day. No-one is EVER on the other end of the phone
These people will not stop calling! A couple of times I've picked up and they've just said "Andre?" I tell them they have the wrong number and they say they'll fix it, but they never do. They just called again but it was just dead on the other end.
They have been calling me 10+ times a day at all different times and I don't have an account with them! I don't answer 800 numbers.
Called my cell two days in a row, including 8AM on a Saturday. Asked for "Greg." Said wrong number. He asked if he had the right number. Said he did. Asked if I knew Greg. I said no. He hung up.
Called seveal weeks now never leaves a message starting as early as 7:30 a.m. on my cell never my home number. Finally after a month left a message for some who is not me. I answered today's first call and told them this and they got nasty about it.
i also recieve these calls at various times of the day. i called back and asked to speak with someone about this and they said i owe them no money. when i asked to be put on a internal do not call list, they said they dont know anything about that one. i spoke with a barbie 606-862-3049 and she was unwilling to help and said only she can help. i asked her if she is the president of the bank she said no so i said there must be someone above her that can help. she refused to help any further. CALL HER AND REPORT THIS!!!! harrassing assholes
This is HFC Beneficial which is a subsidiary of HSBC Bank. The generally call to discuss your account if your payment is late. The seem to think if they call several times a day you will pay ahead because they are so annoying.

HSBC has been mistakenly calling my number at 8:00am and 8:00pm every day for 3 months trying to reach someone else about a past due account. I've told them at least 30 times that they have a wrong number and they say they'll fix the problem. The next day the phone starts ringing again! I've complained to the FTC.
Ask to be put on their internal "Do Not Call" list. If they do not comply, you are entitled to at least $500.00 should you decide to file a complaint in small claims court.
Calls every day about 4 or 5 times a day. Asked for my dad and seemed to act like they were trying to be surreptitious.
I get a call from this number at least 5 times a day at my office phone... never picked up...
they are giving you a courtesy call that your payment is late
They called and said my wife's name and then said "It's Mary, are you there?", but in such a tone of voice, and also in an accent to match our location in the country, as to suggest that my wife might actually know who "Mary" is. Very clever.
Every time I tell them they have the wrong # they say they will fix it. They have told me they will fix it about 10 times in the last several months.
They call starting at 7:30am EST and don't stop until 8pm. We have never had any business with HSBC.
If you get behind on payments, they call once an hour every day.
Calls within 5 minutes of 8 am every morning and several times during the day. If I am on the phone for a conference call, they will call a few minutes after I finish the call. They must be using an auto-dialer.
The number is from HSBC bank(honk kong shanghai banking corporation) hsbc.com they call from this number to collect debt. The people are very rude and unhelpful.
