I sent the following e-mail to FFFF....their reply is at the bottom.....

I used to work for the Dove Foundation. They get they purchase the numbers from grocery stores, banks, and video stores. The numbers are set in a cue and called automatically. They are coded as grandparent, parent, possible parent, and they are told NOT to take you off the list. If they do say that you are removed, you'll be placed on a "temporary" call list and then it will start again in one year. This company was horrible. I quit because it simply wasn't honest.

I have received 6 calls in 2 days. It is ridiculous.

4th call from this number TODAY.

I’m on the National Do Not Call List. Why are you calling me?

Dove is a charity and as such is exempt from the Do Not Call legislation.

above line is why you get calls.but since they use telemarketers should'nt they charity status go away?i mean do the telemarketers do dove a favor or are they getting paid?

i called and they said the guy i needed to speak with about the calls was not in.such crap.

The Missouri Attorney General's office received some 300 complaints. Many of those telephoned by Dove are annoyed by the way the call is conducted: there are complaints that calls are received at any hour of the day, and regardless whether the family is on the United States National Do Not Call Registry. Also cited are the bluntness of the telemarketers, and their aggressive interviewing techniques.

The Attorney General of Missouri has ascertained that their mode of operation is a means to bypass the FCC do-not-call list restriction, and imposed a restraining order on these activities in Missouri in March 2006.[5]

In the court action brought by the Missouri state, Feature Films For Families Inc. of Murray, Utah, and the Dove Foundation were fined the sum of US$70,000 in August 2006 for violation of state "No Call" laws

They call incessantly

i just bought 1 of those aerosal can air horns, let us see how they like that.i pay for this phone for my family and friends use,i don't like that anybody can just call me for the hell of it.this is just spam without the e-mail.anyway air horn is by the phone and i will use it!

Woman named "Cammie" called from Dove Foundation and has absolutely no interest in hearing what I have to say unless I want to get continued calls from them. Talked over the top of me, was told that I am on the DNC list, said it did not apply to Dove as they are non-profit. I have hung up on her repeatedly and the idiot keeps calling. Maybe letting her talk until she's done will screw up her stats bad enough that they will fire her sorry butt.

I am also on the DNC list. I answered their call a couple of weeks ago. They say they have the right to call as a non-profit - but my number is unlisted. Hmmm. Anybody else a Vonage customer? I didn't get these 800# non-profit calls until I switched to Vonage. I'm thinking there's a correlation that I'm not at all happy about.

4th call from them,no message left on machine

On the DNC but they still called. Answered their questions the first time and asked how they got my # since I'm on the DNC list and I have an unpublished phone number for a reason. The caller just said that this was one of the numbers randomly selected to participate in the survey. I politely thanked them but told them I did not wish to be called again.......Today they called because they said I told them it was okay to call back. I told them I did not wish to aswer any questions over the phone and I wanted to be removed from their calling list for good. Well just see how this goes what do you want to bet they call again within the week?!?!?!

This place calls at least once a day and I am on the DNC list as well. I told the fellow that this time and he laughed at me.

dove foundation will not stop calling

These calls are from the Dove Foundation...They get your approval on a survey against inappropriate movies then they try to sell you their own movies and they never give up! I told them quite loudly that I don't want to be bothered by them again; they said, Your wife said it was okay to call. I said, And I pay the phone bills so don't bother me again! I stil got about three more calls; and just now, they called and my wife told them we didn't want to be called again. Know what they said? Okay, we'll call at another time. My wife said, Don't; they repeated, we'll call again at another time. What part of DON'T CALL don't they understand?

Get calls every other day from this number and YES I'm on the DNC list.

Yes, I am on the DNC and I still get this call about three times a week.

They've been bombarding me w/ messages past couple of days... who the heck is this?
