its a collector,a 3rd class collector,,,but a boob,they pay 10 cents on the dollar,,,for your note,and start calling,,,the collectors make 8.50 or less a hour,,,too call,,,they called me,my reply was BLOW ME,she started yelling,my reply was BLOW ME,she hung up,all i wanted was a BLOW ME,IN RESPONCE,now im calling them,ahhhhhhh eeeeeeeee,it will never end,,,but neither will the blow me,,,,,,,

Keep getting stupid messages from 1 800 235-4153 with a pre-recorded message that from Mr Steve Jones regarding an urgent matter. Today called back and spoke to one of the rudest women I've ever dealt with. I politely asked her what organization she works for because she didn't identify herself, just said something like "hello". If this is a business she should be able to answer that question. She very rudely responded with, "Well, who are you?" I said, "I have received messages from this number and simply want to know what organization this is?" (again I was polite) She had attitude and said, "Well, why don't you tell me who YOU are first?" She then said, again VERY rudely and VERY condescending. "Let's start this phonecall over again. How about YOU tell ME who you are and we'll go from there?" I repeated, "I simply want to know what organization you're calling from." She hung up on me! I called back a couple minutes later and got the same woman. I said, "Hi. You just hung up on me. Let's try this again. Tell me what organization this is." She almost yelled back, "N.E.S.!" Then she said something like, "I can't help you if you don't tell me who you are!" What a rude, unprofessional person! I have no respect whatsoever for this company. Completely unprofessional.

I recently worked at this horrible place. National Enterprise Systems is the collection agency from hell. It's the devil's worst nightmare. Employees are trained to collect according to the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act but once on the floor in their respective departments collectors are told to forget everything they learned.

My supervisor, Bryan Howard under the alias of Paul Stevens, regularly provided a second voice to collectors having trouble closing collections. This idiot would identify himself to callers as a federal agent, an NES attorney, etc., anything to try to scare the debtor into paying. He would actually tell debtors and their spouses that a lawsuit had been filed and if the account is not paid by postdated check by a certain time that day a deputy of the court was coming to serve the debtor on his job. I witness this on a daily basis all day long. B. Howard is neither a federal agent, attorney nor any of the other things he claims to be and NES don't sue debtors. All are clear violations of the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act.

These Stupid ,annoying bitches are PAST aggravating! Every morning before 8:00 & 10:30 a.m. they call. Even when you ask these assholes to remove the number from their database, they claim that they have no record of calling, or will "try", not to call. As I stated in the previous sentence, they are assholes. WHY do they call? to annoy all the people they can. So, I hope they "google" their own number so they can read this!!!!!!
(And I'm SURE they Do!!!); To Verizon & all phone co.'s who provide new services, can't WAIT to give you all up to FCC, etc., you're going down from here! JUST WAIT.....

They call everyday at my home and at our office. I just never answer because if it is important they would leave a message but never do.

Was getting 2 msg a day which they leave a phone number to call.
from them I called the removal number {Call 877-603-7165, it is NES compliance department, they can remove your number from the list, none of the collectors can.}mentioned elsewhere in this category and the woman op asked well why didnt you call earlier about this? I said Well I did but got no useful information not even why they were calling, and I didnt give them the number they were calling; the woman did give the name of the person they had for that number which was not me, probably the previous user of that number. They took it off and the calls stopped.

They really are annoying ima start answering the phone blowing a whistle into the mic and hanging up on em :P

got a call from 800 836 6469 at work. i get calls throughout the day on work and cell. no messages any longer. originally left ambiguous "call back asap" msg. googled it and found this page. you guys are really helpful. at the least, i know i'm not alone.

I get a call everyday at 8:15 am and 5:15 pm. it is driving me crazy

the company is national enterprise systems and they leave 5 or 6 voice messages a day. so, I called the federal trade commission for help. the federal trade comm number is 877-382-4357. if everbody who has issues with this company called the ftc we might be able to get some relief!!!

I get calls every day from these clowns, and every night I call and leave stupid messages from names like Martin Short, Chevy Chase, Lorne Michaels. I actually enjoy it. They can call me till hell freezes over. I just call back twice for ever 1 from them. Everyone should. Just think if they received hundreds of assanine messages. Listen up people. They wont stop!!! The company name is National Enterprise Systems, formally Windham Professionals. The founder was Edward M Sheehan, who passed the company on to his son Edward Sheehan, who has since passed it on to his SISTER, Erin Zaldastani. They have offices throughout the US. Erin's siblings are:
Pamela, Kerry, William, Sarah, Kimberly, Karry (maybe the same as Kerry), Patrick, Bill and brother Edward. They reside in the NH and MA.

Maybe some persistent calls to these family members would help Erin to stop calling the those of us who don't have debts.

Do not wait till you get two calls from debt collector send certified letter DO NOT CALL calling a debt collector just makes there day

I get a call from a John Thomson at National Enterprise Systems(He didn't identify the company my brother happened to call the number one day out curiosity) every day asking me to call 800-925-6136 for an important business matter.
I don't have any outstanding debts that a collection agency would call me about nor any of my immediate family.

i am getting harrassing and threatening phone calls 5-7 times per day regarding a person that does not live in my home, but has a similar name. How do i stop this? I am elderly and have called the police, but there is nothing they can do.

I just moved to my new home in May and got a new number. These idiots keep calling asking for someone who doesnt live here. Damn!! I just checked my voicemail after 3 long days at work and I had 7 calls from this jerk saying "This is Pat Martin, it's important that I talk to you Call me back at 1 800 236-7478" and that was it no other information, not even my name! so I googled the number since there was no real info given on the message and look what I found!!!!

This guy has no business with me. I owe nobody any money. sounds like they are an aggressive bunch... Gotta love the voicemail. I will return his call when he specifies who he is calling and for what reason I should call him back.

They have been calling me also for the past 3 weeks. I have 19 "saved" recordings on my answering machine although there have been twice as many as this (I recently started saving these). The calls are from Jim Martin, Tom Martin (same voice as Jim's) and Lisa Martin. I refuse to return the call since I learned that this is some sort of scam. I am registerd on the Do Not Call List and I have reported this number. Unfortunately, it seems as nothing is being done to stop these people from calling.

Got called 2 times from them saying about great deals with Vonage, I reported it since I am reg with the DNC list.

This number has repeatedly called my home looking for someone who doesnt even live here. Supposedly looking for my step daughter. i and my wife have asked repeatedly for the person , who in my case, is name Samantha Stone. i even had to threatened her with the attorney generals office. she still would not quit calling. she, even after i got upset with her and hung up, called and called back for 20 mins straight. this is nuts? whats wrong with her? is this good business practice?? NO! she done nothing but harass me and my wife. shes very threatening and always calling me a liar in so many words. how many times does it take for this woman to be told...to NOT call anymore...for her to get the message and stop????

We've been getting calls from a John Thompson at NES, and he leaves the number 800-925-6136. Twice a day for 3 weeks now. We disputed a charge from a clothing catalog 5 years ago that had been turned over to collections, even our credit report still shows it's in dispute. That's the only thing they could be calling about. They won't get a single penny from us.

We have been getting calls from this number approximately 3-4 times per day. I work from home and have resorted to simply not answering the phone. They call us before 8a and continue through out the day. Usually it's Dean or Steve Martin. I refuse to call back but we ARE going to change our number.

2 calls today. 2 yesterday. who are these people i.m on the do not call list. they call early on sundays and every day.

UPDATE: I do not owe anything, but NES would not stop. I filed a complaint with the Attorney General of my state. (Just look him/her up on the web for your state, folks.) The AG looked into it and got NES to stop calling me. Whether NES can call you like this if you *do* owe money, I have no idea. I doubt it, though.

I received 23 calls from this number in 3 days. Telling me to call 800-493-0064. What do they want?? And how can I get them to stop calling me?

I got the name "National Enterprise Systems" when I called. When asked what they do, they asked what I wanted. I told them I'm returning one of 16 messages they left in the last five days, then they hung up. I called back and was told they were looking for a former resident of this number. I told them he no longer lives here, hasn't lived here in several years, and to remove my name and number from their calling list. They said they would do so today, but they were not happy taking my call.

The name they give is irrelevant. NES is an annoying company operating on the fringes of legality. They are in the business of locating people who owe money. Many times the people they harrass have done nothing wrong, but share the same name as the real culprit. It typically starts with a call the day before in which a friendly voice asks for the targeted individual by name. If it's your name, you might answer, "This is (your name)." Then they hang up, leaving you wondering why they hung up after reaching the person they asked for. Look out! The next day begins early with a barrage of calls throughout the day and perhaps over several days. They leave menacing voice messages and are generally not helpful if you talk to them. The person calling is just a tool of the company and can't do much for you anyway. Simply state that you want them to stop calling and note the date/time. If they don't stop, file a complaint with your state's attorney general.

This is a collection agency and they call all day long starting at 8:00a.m. until 9:00pm. We are working with Debt Settlement and have told them that they have our power of attorney but they keep calling us instead of Debt Settlement. Always Pat or Lisa Martin and also 800-493-0064.

Pat Marten left a message saying he needed to contact me and wanted me to call back. Didn't identify his organization or why he's calling. Of course it's a telemarketer or scam so I didn't call back. Then again, maybe we should all call back multiple times so he has to pay the 11-800 charges?

I received three calls this morning from "unknown caller". I picked one up, and it was an automated message asking me to stay on the line. I hung up.
Called T-Mobile. They said that #'s are RECYCLED. So these calls could be meant for a stranger...
They gave me a new # just now. Hopefully, this will put an end to this.

I am a new T-Mobile customer. I received my cell phone # from them on a new contract less than a month ago. However, it is too late to terminate the account without penalty (14 days)

On Sun. Feb. 4th, at 8:01 AM, I answered a call. It was a recorded message from Lisa Martin at 800.493.0064. Requested that I return call.
Just now, I received a call from an unknown caller.
I imagine this was from the same source.
I called T-Mobile re: the release of my personal info (like my new #, for instance)
The rep suggested I put my # on the do not call list. I did. That was on the 3rd of Feb.
Where did these creeps get my personal cell phone #?
As I mentioned, I would have terminated my account with T-Mobile if I had received theae calls prior to the termination period.

I do not plan to interact with these people based upon what I have read online at various sites since receiving these calls.
One site gives the home phone #'s of the owners of National Enterprise Systems. I wish I could just divert or forward all those 800 calls right back to them....

Pat Martin and Lisa Martin have called my house 2 times a day for a week starting at 8 a.m. each day. They are rude and do not stop with their harrassing calls. They should do their homework before doing this kind of calling for collections because we are not the people that they want and they want my address as well as my last four digits of my social. Screw that! The other comments that I read are exactly what has happened here.

These people are calling and harrassing my sister, who lives in another state, about a debt which they say I owe. How is this possible???

Getting prerecorded messages from the person several times a day. The name sounds like Pat Martin. He leaves different 800 phone numbers (800 336 7478, 800 235 4153). I am going to call my phone company (Verizon) and ask if they can do something about that.

About 7 messages in the last two days. Pat and Lisa Martin just call every few hours...I have nothing else new to add to what others have described. Does anyone know if this organization is being criminally pursued in any state yet?

Calls coming in from 1-800-836-6469 & 1-800-235-4153. They start at 8 a.m. until 9 p.m., including Sundays. A Pat Martin called last night & a Mrs. Page this morning. They'll call back to back showing the number then they call back & it shows unknown. No Mrs. Goodwin lives here, so I don't answer, and am fed up with these people worrying me. They've got my wife thinking all sorts of crazy stuff. I've been on the "Do Not Call" list since it first came out. Maybe I should let my wife get on the phone b/c by the time she gets thru with anybody, they never call my house anymore. Sometimes that's good & sometimes that's bad. These calls have been coming in for too long & I feel it's harassment now. So if the wife answers all I can say is, THEY WILL BE SORRY !!

He called my dorm, which was pretty dumb because he sounded suspicious right out of the gate by not naming which one of us (me or my roommate) he was looking for. I looked up the number and found this site. Thank you guys so much.

Received two calls on 9/24/06, one at 8AM EST and the second around 11:30AM. The caller's name in my case was John Gray and the number in the message was (800) 235-4153. My number is also registered on the DNC list. One interesting point is I'm been getting phone calls for the last year from an individual looking for someone named Larson. This past Friday I received a recording stating that if I don't hang up immediately I am confirming that this number is Larson's. Two days later the calls from John Gray started. Coincidence?

You may either contact your state attorney general about harassing phone calls or contact NES at the number provided and tell them you want to resolve this prior to contacting the attorney general.

In my case, I was being contacted at my phone number about some other individuals debt. I told NES to remove me from their list or I would proceed with a contact to the attorney general. NES said I had been removed from their auto-dialer list.
It took me multiple calls. Most of their individuals are very rude and do not believe anything you say.

If they contact me again, I will file a complaint.

Get calls from this Pat Martin several times a day, 7 days a week, and also from his "wife" -- a female named Martin. The calls come early in the morning and all day long, and weekends, including Sunday. They use some sort of auto-dial machine and have it set to call multiple times. And our number is on the Do Not Call list, as if it matters. Never called back as do not want to respond to them. But would LOVE to find out how to get the calls STOPPED. They tie up the phone and fill the messages with the same info daily. And the call back numbers vary. A second one is 800-236-7478 -- that is just in two calls made already this morning... Sunday. Looks like they harrass a lot of people... can't something be done to stop these characters?
