How do I stop them from calling?
- Ask the unwanted caller to stop calling and put you on their do not call list (they are legally required to comply).
- If your number is registered with the National Do Not Call Registry you can file a complaint with the FTC.
- Block them with a call blocker:

I picked up the phone and acted interested, given a phony name and all, soon the original flunky handed the phone to her superior and I told her to just hold the line for a second because I was very interested in whatever it was she was bugging me about. I laid the receiver down for about five minutes, then I quietly picked up the receiver to hear her frustrated "Hello?", I laid the receiver down again for five more minutes and when I picked up again she had hung up on me.
These people are violating the FTC Do Not Call list.. report them at donotcall.gov
Answer the phone saying "you are in violation of the FTC regulations", and they'll hang up immediately.
But, yes, they keep calling back.
Calls I have been receiving from 800 Service are from TracPhone. Ugh!
I have been getting 3-5 calls a day from this number for many months and have been ignoring them until a couple of months ago when I started answering and as soon as there was a real person on line I would ask to be taken off the list. I was told that it would take a month to registar as a 'Do Not Call' number and I might get a few more calls. I AM STILL GETTING CALLS ! Just had another call today and the person on the other end was very nice (as they all were) and asked me if I had been given the toll free number to make them stop calling. I told her that I hadn't and she gave me the 888 number for Discover card. When I talked to their rep on the phone (also very nice and helpful) she disavowed any knowledge of this number, but put me on all their 'Do Not Call' lists to make sure. I then checked this web site and called the 1-866-280-4252 number and it has a provision for removal from a list also.... we'll see if this helps...
We get between, 1 & 10 calls a day from this outfit. I do not answer these calls, and they are a pain in the a**.
I tried blocking this number but my service provider AT&T only allows me to block local calls. Boy is that stupid!
Hey you all I hate my phone it will not leave us alone Just for fun after a month or so os 800 servive. I picked up no real live body . Just that I been approved of $1500 pay loan and been approved to buy a car and etc etc if you do not want to be on this calling list push 9 well I did and the voice kept talking, this is annoying and very rude. Please do not tell never answered before we are being harressed by bill collectors, Can only do so musc I will take the $1`500 is I do not have to pay it back and by the way where is all that free money out there I will gladly tell you I am disable no income and there is no such thing as free money, Peace!
They call anywhere from 3 to 20 times a day, never leave a message, and all I hear on the answering machine is electronic noise. This is getting very annoying!
