I keep getting a call from Joe Drory 978-254-2048, and I don't even own a car. I did give the caller an ear full of nonsense, I let him get all the way through the scam, and faked him out good!!!

Vehicle warranty voice message.

It's one of those factory warranty recordings, but it's like a pre-screening call. I usually answer my phone with "hello", but this morning I got a call from 785-238-2358 and answered with "This is George", before the recording started talking. I then hung up when I heard the goddamn recording. Just short of 8 hours later, I got a call from 954-354-8438 from some dumb bitch asking for "George" (no last name) trying to sell me car related crap. I told her to take me off the list, but I honestly forgot who they said they were calling from or any of the other details. It doesn't matter anyway 'cause they're all a bunch of liars anyway.

This is the number shown on my caller ID when I received a "This is the last call to renew your car warranty" auto-dialer spam/scam phone call.

Yahoo says that the phone number belongs to an private citizen in a residential neighborhood in Kansas, so I assume the caller ID has been spoofed.

Didn't answer.

I am getting like 3 calls for every week from this number.. why they spamming my phone?

They have called my work and my cell; must be on an auto dialer. Car warranty scam. They didn't leave a message this time, but have before.

It's the car warranty scam...

unfortunately my razr decided to reset before I could mess with the operator.

How do they keep changing their number? If anyone is able to figure out exactly where they are calling from, post it up! Its pretty obvious they are spoofing their number. The last 2 times its come up as coming from a residential number.

I messed with the operator the last time they called (last week or the week before...) she claimed she was going to put me on their "do not call list" lol... what a piece of shit...

Are people actually falling for this shit?

Car extended warranty scam.

How do I stop them from calling?

  1. Ask the unwanted caller to stop calling and put you on their do not call list (they are legally required to comply).
  2. If your number is registered with the National Do Not Call Registry you can file a complaint with the FTC.
  3. Block them with a call blocker:
