This is some type of collection agency for the Department of Education. They called my line looking for a Carlos?? WHO!!!
called just now asking for the same person they call (who they've been told no longer lives in the US).
I asked Mr. Kurt Miller if he'd gotten the cease & desist letter I faxed CCA on 5/15/09 - that got me transferred to a supervisor right away! I explained for the millionth time in about 2 years that the person they're calling doesn't live in the US anymore and that this is now my personal cell #. Have filed BBB complaints and will pursue litigious action if they continue to voilate the Federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act & the Rosenthal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. (and possibly state laws too.. will have the lawyer research that).
