A recording. Wanted to 'give' me some type of emergency reporting system. I am already paying for E911. Did not "press 1"; hung up.

The caller ID for these scumballs has changed from "O" to "ADSPLUS". No matter - every call they make to my phone results in a DNCL violation complaint.

so I answered the 2nd redial (they call hangup and call again immedieately) senior citizen health and safety/security sales call. computer wouldn't let me press one to order it or 5 to get off list. My guess is it is some type of scam to find 'live' phone numbers for a followup scam call.

How do I stop them from calling?

  1. Ask the unwanted caller to stop calling and put you on their do not call list (they are legally required to comply).
  2. If your number is registered with the National Do Not Call Registry you can file a complaint with the FTC.
