How do I stop them from calling?
- Ask the unwanted caller to stop calling and put you on their do not call list (they are legally required to comply).
- If your number is registered with the National Do Not Call Registry you can file a complaint with the
FTC. - Block them with a call blocker:
Uniden DECT1288 blocks up to 20 numbers, plus Private and Unknown, with the reject tone, without ringing the phone.
Panasonic KX-TG106 blocks up to 30 numbers, plus all unidentified callers, with a busy tone, after the phone rings once.
JF Teck Caller ID with Ring Controller blocks up to 70 numbers, and can be set to always allow up to 100 to ring through.

The caller said he was from financial advisor group, and wanted to know if i had a mortage. I hung up.
The call was in reference to lower credit card interest rate and stated if we wanted to be placed on the do not call list press "1". Casn anyone stop this company from calling??? The call came into my home at 2:45 pm.
lower credit card interest...this is an updated version of a scam call we get over & over. They never ask for a specific person; never identify a specific card company they're working with. Called at 2:53 pm today. Time always varies. I've reported different numbers to my attorney general; the Do Not Call list; the FTC; the FBI. One of these days someone will put these scumbags behind bars!
I called back with my Caller ID truned off so they could not get my Number. But the recording came on and said that iif you do not what any more of there Telamarking, to push #1 to have your number removed. Well with my Caller ID off that will not work and Unless I get more calls from this, I will not even try and send them my number.
As the call I got yesterday sounded like a Credit Card Colletions Call. But that's not what I heard when I called them back with my Caller ID off. So I don't know as of now. If and when I find out more I'll post it here.

My guess is that Digitcom Services (digitcom.net) is another Lucre-type company: a company probably run by telespammers, for telespammers. Why else would a *company* (as opposed to an individual) obscure their WHOIS information? Skyping the toll-free number on their contact page (1-800 464-5446) gets me an automated message mentioning "Wildgate for Digitcom customer support". Got a call from this number tonight, no one was on the other end, just hung up after about 20 sec.
Another website has this number down as a credit card scammer ("This is your
last call with important information about your credit card"). Fits in with the same M.O. as whocalled.us where the CLID name is the same as the CLID number, so probably the same clowns.

Just received a call from that number - since 2 weeks it's about the 5th time. Cannot recognize the number. I'm from QC, Canada.
I'm in QC, Canada. Strangely, we've been getting plenty of automated calls from California since a week or two. This is one of them. :(
