I have received calls about an auto warranty. The first time I answered my phone for them I had asked the rep to send me an email so I could read about it, first. I never did get an email. A few weeks later I had to change my cell phone number. I received the same message about my auto warranty expiring. Prior to this message, I did not give my new phone number out. I have no idea how they got my new number. It must be random.

Had one today, incredibly simple scam from the start. Black-sounding girl claimed she was from "YT Services" and wanted my VIN number, which would have told them the manufacturer that was supposed to be "selling me an extended warranty"! Mentioned Do-Not-Call and filing an FTC complaint. Told her to take me off the list, she said she'd "think about it."

Brazen, and surprisingly unafraid of the consequences! Acted like I was up for it for a moment, if you're getting repeat calls give them the VIN of your neighbor's car and see if we can get direct contact infos for these deplorable scumbags! Any information is appreciated.

They call my cell phone periodically and it's extremely annoying..plus..using my minutes as well.

Calling for months, used to be number 734-864-9680 for extended auto warranty, every time I get a person to talk to they hang up on me. Now they are calling from a new phone number from Michigan, When I waited to talk to a person, which is only the second time I got through to a person, they hang up on me. This person did say "Auto Warranty Specialist", I called back and was told to reneter my number to place on do not call list, they disconnected me. Now I'm sure a new number will start calling me. Coincidently I got a post card from them today. It looks very "official" telling me that my warranty on my car is ending. IT reads FINAL NOTICE.

These people have been calling my house for the last 2 months. They were originally blocking their name and number, until I enabled anonymous call blocking. Now they come through as "One Direct", phone number 734-864-9680. Totally bogus auto warranty renewal scam. I originally asked to be removed from their list, and now they no longer answer the phone when I try to speak with a rep. All I get is a busy signal...

they call all the time. If i ask them what car, they hang up. I talk to a sales person once, they hung up after i said i would like to give them money but want something in writing first. pain in the ass!!!!!

called to report this company and b.b.b. was closed i entered the number and they have no complaints.that will change tomorrow!mary

i have also had several calls from this company.i did press 1 once and got through.i told them to stop calling me and hung up on them.they went away for 2 months now today i get the call.im calling b.b.b on them.im from ohio.i thought maybe they were just calling ohio.but now i know im wrong.thanks everyone for sharing your story on this annoying company!

Just reported them to the FCC. They knew nothing about my car, was vague whenever I asked about their company, and couldn't mail me any information (HUGE FLAG). I could hear them typing everytime that tried to "verify" my information. Did I mention that they called me at work? Idiots.

Because I told them I'd call them back, they left me a number, extention and name to ask for...which I happily passed on to the FCC guys.

These people call me just about every day and they do hang up on me when I ask to be removed. Clearly they do not care they are breaking the law.

The "courtesy call" message said it was a special offer for area homeowners only. Interesting, as I live 650 miles away from Michigan! Something about Fannie Mae loans; I hung up before hearing all the details.

Received three calls in a row did not leave message. Keeps calling. Call back no answer???

These prople are calling from numbers with area codes across the country, almost like email spammers, and hiding who they are. Please search for "warranty" in the whocalled.us search box and see hundreds of reports. Same message, "YOUR WARRANTY IS ABOUT TO EXPIRE." Please post info you have. I get calls to my cell phone from them all the time now. We need to put a stop to them. There may be multiple companies with similar messages, or just a bunch of shell corporations. warrantydirect.com may be one of them. Interstate National Dealer Services, Inc. ( inds.com ) is the corporate parent.

I think it mught be warrantydirect.com. It says they're a member of the BBB. Time to report?

Received multiple calls from these guys. Big SCAM. Beware.

I received a call from these people saying my car warranty is out of date. I do not have a warranty with my car! These people are a scam.

I have an unlisted number, a new phone # I've not really given to anyone. I don't have any outstanding debts, haven't applied for loans or credit cards (compromising my phone number) & won't even give my phone number out at Walmart or other stores when they ask for it ... claiming they need it for warranty info, etc; although I've previously had my phone # & info sold by Walmart & know better ... Anyway, this phone number keeps calling me but when I pick up (no matter how many times I let it ring or how soon I answer it) noone says anything. No computer, no human, nothing ... just annoying phone calls I can't get stopped. I don't have a car warranty & never have, so they've no business calling me. I assume they're just randomly calling numbers trying to get your info?

Message recorded stated that my Auto Warranty was about to expire, I opted to mess with them and told the operator that I didn't own a vehicle. The operator said "Do you want us to help you get a car?". UNREAL. Who are these people? My number is unlisted and I am on the so called "DO NOT CALL LIST"

I too have been receiving calls from this number. I have contacted the Attorney General in MI. (You can find the number on internet.) I have also contacted the same in my state of Hawaii. Also, you can make a formal complaint to the FCC, they have a website, and you can do it online.(EASY)....These people are criminals. I have also contacted the FBI and have given "ONE DIRECT" a phone number were I can be reached, it's every Senator's office in MI. and my state.(This will get their attention!) Don't just sit and take it! Take action, we will bring them DOWN. Also, I call one direct with my skye and leave them hundreds of messages, this fills up their voice mail. When the sales pitch begins hit #3 and it takes you right to voice mail, and then the fun begins, be vulgar, be what ever you want, just FILL THEIR VOICE MAIL!........Have fun, we will win. Greetings all. I did a honey pot on this caller not too long ago after they auto dialed an entire block of 100 DIDs. The correct number to call to speak with the person running the bot is 954-776-3790. The name of the company making the calls is Trans America Warranty.

I get a lot of calls from them, usually from 734-864-9680, 678-253-0250, 615-349-9445, and/or 609-948-0971. Hope this helps.

Asked what company was calling, caller hung up. Call begins with illegal recorded message, I'm tracking the company. Will file small claims suit, illegal calls are worth $500.00 for every call

I keep getting calls about "we have sent you numerous notifications that your auto warranty is about to expire"; this number was just a hang up, but it's the same outfit judging from the other posts. This is to my cell phone, and this last call was at 9 pm. I would love to nail these guys in some way.

I have gotten this call several times, and its a recording saying they have sent me mail requesting that I renew my Auto warranty. 1. I have not received any mailings, just lots of phone calls. 2. I don't even OWN a car 3. I am disabled and don't even have a driver's license. How can my cars warranty expire? Are wheelchairs considered automobiles now?????? I am going to report them to the DO NOT CALL list.

Left a cellular voicemail that ends in automated greeting, "...press 7 to disconnect."

Called on my cell phone, not sure how they got the number, sounds totally bogus. When they called it was an automated message saying extend my auto warranty, I pressed 1 to speak to a representative and tried to ask what company they were representing, the woman immediately hung up.

First time I received call from this number and caller ID saying "One Direct". If I call back no one responds!
This is for sure scam!

My caller ID says "ONE DIRECT" and I get a message about my vehicle warranty expiring, which is nonsense.

EXTENDED CAR WARRANTEES

I receive calls from this number and many more on a business line. How do I report it to a no call list?

I have been getting calls from this company on my cell phone several times per week, they have a prerecorded message about how I can extend my factory warranty. If I do get a hold of a human to ask them to remove me from their call list they always hang up on me immediately when I tell them to remove me from their call list, and the calls continue.
