CDG MGMT - didn't leave a message. This company's estimated annual sales is $185,200,000 (why don't they donate some of that money to the Fraternal order of police themselves. They are soliciting donations on behalf of the Rhode Island Fraternal Order of Police. While it is a legit charity, these callers DO NOT take "NO" for an answer. I even told them I was unemployed and the guy told me I could "afford 5 bucks, anyone can afford that!" Then I asked him to send me something in the mail so I could donate that way (to get him off my back) and he replied "we can't do that, so are you going to give me my money or what?" Well, I just hung up, but 10 minutes later he calls letting me know he "doesn't appreciate being hung up on." Well, he must have not appreciated me doing it again!

This is the first time that the name Cdg Management came up on my caller ID. The phone number has come up 10 times. I'm going to call the no call people in my State and let them know about CDG Management.

CDG stands for Civic Development Group. CDG ussually keep about 85% of the money they raise on behalf of non-profit groups. They are being prosecuted by the Federal Trade Commission. To learn more, visit civicdevelopment.net.

This company has a bad reputation for treating their employees bad, and for keeping almost 90% of the money from the charitable donations they collect. If you want to really help your local firefighter or police, make a direct donation to them so they get 100%.

Fuck you both. If I want to donate to a charity, I'll do it directly. I don't need or want annoying phone calls. It's MY PEROGATIVE not to 'listen' if I don't want to. Requesting to be placed on their 'do not call list' works real well, doesn't it, as evidenced by the comments on here by people who did just that but continued to be harassed?

I didn,t answer the call. I happened to be online so I googled it and came to this website. It was unsolicited. I don,t care if it is for a charity or not, I did not give them permission to call me. It had better be a mistake. If they call again I'll inform them that I am not interested and will take legal action if the calling doesn't cease right then!

This outfit calls every day and leaves no message. Found out they are a telemarketer. Will report them as I am on the do not call list. They show up as Metuchen N.J. on caller I.D.

Caller ID shows "CDG Mgt LLC". This number is now showing up in Kentucky. This same management company is soliciting contributions allegedly for the Ky Fraternal Order of Police. They have been calling daily for months. There is NO getting rid of them. They continue to talk over you and mail demand packages regardless of what you tell them. They are the main reason we bought an answering machine with caller ID.

These people have called me a few times and they ignore the do not call registry list. If they think I am going to donate over the phone to someone I don't know, they can think again. I am now getting unavailable unknown
calls every morning and sometimes, these people get a big suprise in their ear.

The last time a local fop called. in r.I. I asked .them to place me on the do not call list. They did. I only get phone calls from the State Lodge FOP. And the fops do not call lists do last for about 5 years .

There are tons of POLICE and FIRE organizationms here in Rhode Island but the most important are the STATE lodge FOP AND the Fire IFF. A lot of these vets ask for money for the fallen vets. I don't quite know how they work.... yet...

People like you hanging up as the dialer makes the calls adds to the rising costs of calls for the drive. That's why they use an out of state automated dialer to keep the rising costs low for the drive. duhhh. And the Rhode Island STATE LODGE FOP does record phone calls and assures that 100% goes directly to programs explained..

You people are so stupid!! The national do not call list is exempt from non-profit organizations and political phone calls. So if you just took the time to listen instead of being assholes and hanging up you would know that. Also 98% of fundraisers have a once a year pledging list. All you have to do is ask to be put on it. There are tons and tons of LOCAL FOP's but the STATE fop is the best because it gives money locally. Also if your not interested just ask to be put on their do not call list and that's it!!!

in telemarketing you don't have to put the person who ask'd to be placed on the "do not call list" on the list

the RIFOP isn't open on sunday so you might be getting calls from a different company because the RIFOP is only open monday-saturday i should know cuz i work there

I answered nobody on the line.Called back answer machine came on stating that the office was closed.

They seem to call from different numbers and they call several times a week, won't take no for an answer. I used to contribute to the FOP but not anymore because of the harrasing calls. They called Sunday morning at 8:30 a.m.. I am sick of it!!!!!

what he meant to say was that the federal do not call list does not apply to charities on behalf of police, sherrif, veterans and firefighters etc... the company is in it's legal right ot make the call... it's in the details, but the company is garbage and push the limits

Got a call from them 5 minutes ago, looked up the phone #, and found this place. So I called back to be taken off their call list. A woman asked for my last name and state and said she needed my information--including phone #--to be taken off the list. Mind you, I am on the National Do Not Call list. I gave her my last name, she said it might take 48 hours for the calls to stop, and she rudely hung up on me. She didn't ask for my number or anything else.

I dont care if these people are all in wheelchairs! I wouldnt let a blind man piss on my porch. These people are down right assholes not because they are "crippled" but because they have social problems your company really needs to school these lonely sacks of shit on what is wrong and what is right.

I receive a call from this number at least twice a week. It's a management company trying to get donations for the NJ State Police, to help them buy "their yearbooks". They make more than me, let them pay for their own books.

I get several calls a day from this place,, I'm never home when that call and that just hang up on my maching each time.. what ever happend to being on the do not call list???

I work for these "scumbags" and have for 9 years. Most of the employees are ppl that other employment oppurtunities are not available to them. Examples: are ppl who are physically unable to sustain a job. I have employed well over 100 ppl who use walkers, canes, prostetics, and wheelchairs just to have alittle mobility. Granted there is alot of dislikes about telemarketing but it provides jobs in an economy that everyone complains about. All i can say is dont be so rude next time someone calls we are all someomes dad, mom, brother, sister, grandparent, and so on. Just say no thanks and put me on your DNC. By the way i am not afraid to put my name on my comment.

When they called this morning, it showed 'CDG Mgmt LLC' and their phone #. I was not home so, of course, they left no message. When they called this evening, it showed 'Unknown Caller'. He knew my last name. He said he is with the Idaho State Police. Of course I did not believe him! I asked if he has a "Do Not Call" list. He said "yes" so I told him to put me on that, like I am on the Federal 'Do Not Call' list -- and if they call here again, I told him I will report them to the Attorney General. He said they'd put me on that list , but I am doubtful. The federal 'Do Not Call' list is a fiasco as far as I'm concerned -- because too many of these pests call anyway.

I am getting 3-4 calls from them every day. I am never home to answer the calls but they happen on Sunday's as well. Good thing I am not usually there to hear the phone ring.

They called on a Saturday afternoon claiming to be from the RI FOP (Fraternal Order of Police). When I asked him why he'd be calling for the RI FOP from outside of RI, he claimed that he was in RI, on Branch Avenue in Providence. Interesting, since it's a NJ area code. I hung up - Google the number, they're a sneaky bunch!

I got the calls from 732-518-9800 and 732-512-9800. I used to get call 800 service, I blocked all the 800 service, and now they started calling from this number. I am blocking these numbers that with my Sunrocket VOIP.

I used to get these calles.
I have switched to VOIP and I can control my account on line.
That includes banning numbers. They never ring though and get a recording “This Number Has Been Banned”
If you can swing it get off the phone company and take control of your phone line.
You will never get calls from these wastes of skin again.

I learned never to answere thier calls, will not contribute to any charity that uses them, they are for profit, and take about 50-60% of the money collected, will report them to the Feds om the do not call list, every one else should do the same, inform the charities that you will not give to them and state the reason, time to fight back, tempeted to call them back 30 times today hah!

I am getting these calls about 3 times a day! I recently agreed to donate a small amt. to my state police. I have been bombarded with telemarket calls since! They obviously sold my name to a call list!
Never again! I will hang up every time! Cant they be fined if I am on a do not call list?

Nobody is at home during the daytimes. They just keep on calling....

They call me daily, multiple times. When I do answer, I usually either hang up before anyone has a chance to say something, or they hang up on me (I get a busy signal). My wife once donated to the "FL State Troopers" through this CDG MGMT Group, and now they're calling nonstop. It's a shame too, because we have made legitimate contributions to the FL State Troopers before, and now we don't know who is asking for the money, so we're not going to give anything.

i have gotten 2 calls already today from this number.

one of those wonderful charities that let fundraising get out of control. Fundraising nearly 1/2 of budget last time I checked. Called on a Sunday night to boot!
