The phone is ringing, and I don't recognize the number,
All Caller ID says is, "NAME UNAVAILABLE".
Please help me figure out who is calling and what they want

i wish people like this would die.
they call some much! i called the number back and got a machine and told me to give them my # so they can take me off the list. so i did LIKE A 100 TIMES

calls sometimes twice a day. I generally don't answer but when I do, they hang up. This is very annoying.

Calls repeatedly to a number we have listed on the gov't Do Not Call list. Answered once, they asked for my husband, and refused to leave a message when I told them he was not home. Still refused to leave a message when I told them he would not speak to them if they didn't tell me who they were & what they were calling in regards to.

Have gotten this one many times for several years. Always listed as "Doctors Group". I never answer of course.

hangs up the phone when is answered, no messages are left in my vm.

How do I stop them from calling?

  1. Ask the unwanted caller to stop calling and put you on their do not call list (they are legally required to comply).
  2. If your number is registered with the National Do Not Call Registry you can file a complaint with the FTC.
  3. Block them with a call blocker:
