they have called 14 times in 4 days. at first I didnt answer but once I did and they did not answer back.

I haven't answered, as I've been aware of these people (i.e. Quality Resources) from a purchase I made online *last* year.
This time around, I recently purchased a WaterJet online. The calls started coming from 727-712-0152, and have now switched over to this number (both Quality Resources).

The company responsible for WaterJet (for those of you now receiving calls from Quality Resources because you bought one) is:

I also recently ordered a WaterJet, and the calls have started today (twice already). I see the name here of "Quality Resources" over in Clearwater, and I recognize them as the same outfit that bothered me in the past, after I had purchased some software online. If I recollect, "Plimus" was the outfit who processed the software purchase (Google "Plimus" when you have the time, LOL).
Do not give them any information, as they really have no business having your name, phone number and last four digits of your credit card number!
They use multiple phone numbers. Let them all ring and never answer them. In a couple weeks, they will stop calling.
If you think you can stop them by talking to them, you're insane!
Even picking-up the phone confirms to them they've reached an active phone number, which only makes them call all the more. If you accidently answer the phone, do not confirm that they have reached who they are asking for. Instead, ask them who's calling. They will persist. Confirm nothing! Tell them that you do not know "whoever they ask for," and to not call this number again. Tell them nothing!
Realize this... these people have been complained about, and reported to, every government agency, police department, phone company and consumer protection agency in the state of Florida -- for several years now -- and they're still in operation!
God help you if they get your full credit card number, and whatever missing identity information they still need, in order to clean you out. A**holes.

Just started getting called from this number tonight.. twice so far. I'm just a little pissed off that they have to bother me while I'm trying to watch Big Brother and AGT.. I'm not worried about them having credit card info as the card is a pay-as-you-go card plus it expires this month (And I only put money on it the day before Dish network or Square/Enix need they're subscription payments.

Started receiving calls today - didn't recognize number so I didn't answer. After 3rd time I answered ..asked for me by my first name told them I wasn't there asked to take a message - she then asked for my husband - I've been divorced since 1993 .. told her not to call again

My husband just got a phone call from these people on his prepaid cell phone saying "because of recent purchases he made he is eligible for free gift cards and gas cards." Then told him about a money saver plan at $1.00 for the first 14 days and after that it's a monthly subscription. Then proceeded to tell him he would get his "gift cards" in about 2 weeks. Hmmmmm 2 weeks....14 days...yeah, ok. When my husband asked them what it was he purchased they told him that it was private information that they could not disclose. They refused to tell him where they got the information from and wanted him to punch in his birthdate (which he did not do). They also had the last 4 digits of his bank card.
Now, here's the real kicker......My husband has only made ONE purchase on that card other than gas....that purchase was cable. From TIME WARNER CABLE!!! How convenient!!! Yesterday he orders cable which he did give his card number for and his phone number and today he receives that call. So Time Warner is one of the companies selling our information!!! WTF?? This really irks me. But at least now we know about one of the companies they are affiliated with.

called an number of times the past few days. I finally answered tonite. They sadi they got my number from a partner that I have made a purchase from- it was a personal cell # that is NEVER given out on forms, purchases, etc. They were selling a savings program for a $1.

After going over 10 calls from this company I started calling back. They all knew my name but one wanted to confirm my HD order. I had looked at HD sunglasses on line, but they wanted $10 for two pairs. When I closed the web site, a pop up offered me 2 pair for $5 plus shipping. I ordered the two pair but they wanted me to buy something else. I refused. On confirmation of the order I found I did not qualify for the $5 offer and the shipping was $15.95 plus $10. That's $25.95 for 2 pair of $5 sunglasses. Do you think I'll confirm the order. I think not. DO NOT ANSWER!!!!!

I keep receiving calls from this number. They stated that I am a preferred customer and would be receiving $40 in gas vouchers. It sounded funny to me so I told them I was not interested and to take me off of the list to be called. I will see if this works.

hello friends, i just received a clal from the number, didnt get a chance to answer so i called back, the people were talking quite fast, and made an offer and i accepted, they didn't mention anything about charging me, i dont think... i never gave them my CC info, but they said they'll be sending me somet kind of gas voucher in the mail and a 25$ wal-mart card, so ill let u guys know what happens, wether they try to rip me off or not, now im kind of wishing i didnt agree but we'll see...

Same here. The last 2 weeks getting calls from these idiots. I answered once and they hung up. I'm also getting calls from Avalon Mktg from 1-616-980-2382 out of Michigan. I called both banks and my credit card company (Visa) and gave them all the info i could find out about these scammers. They will worry the hell out of you.

I purchased the Electronic Cigarette from Smoke Assist for my husband to try and quit smoking and the company that I purchased it from sold our information to this company that sent us all this crap in the mail gas coupons, food coupons, etc and they CHARGED my card TWICE! I had to report them to the BBB and now they are still calling me because when the sales rep asked me if I wanted this "program" I said HELL NO I JUST WANT THE SMOKE ASSIST AND THAT IS ALL! They refunded my money early last month, but now they are calling me so I don't know what the hell to do now! I am afraid to answer the phone and have them use my answering the phone as some kind of twisted acceptance of the crap that they are trying to push! Such a nightmare! I swear it was like opening the flood gates!

The comments here convinced me I was scammed, so I cancelled my card. They are so convincing that they seem to be a partnered promo vendor for my credit card company. They had my address, phone number and last four digit of my credit card. I was duped into giving out my month and date of birth as a confirmation. They at first state there is no charge for the promo but when transferred to another person, that person stated that there is the one dollar charge and that a cancel can be done after the packaged is received but I assume that by the time (14 days to cancel) the packaged is receive that there is monthly charged. I am wondering if the card number was received by them from pingo.com (calling card company) because two days ago I made a purchase which was my first and only credit charge in three weeks.

Thane corporation who sells H2o mop, Dog Training program, and other infomercial stuff gives them your information. I ordered from Thane and got calls on my cell phone. Ended up canceling my credit card. I ordered from Thane for the company I work for - got an H2O mop. Now they keep calling my work asking for my boss - his name is on the card. He is never there and knows about what they do now but it is annoying. All our phone numbers are on the do not call list. If I order online or over the phone again with anyone I will buy a disposable Visa card at walmart with that dollar amount on and give them a bogus phone number.

Woman identified herself as Wanda. She was too busy talking about free gas card to hear my sexually-charged comments. When she finally stopped to listen, I asked her if she lift weights. She said she used exercise bands. Then I ask her if I could feel her biceps. She said that was getting personal. I entertained her long enough to find out the 4-digit number credit card they have of me. Quality Resource is a blessing in disguise. It gives me the opportunity to practice inappropriate conversations with their female callers. Can't wait for them to call again.

I work for a company under contract for Visa/MC and many more. This phone number is tied to a company who has stolen your credit card information along with your name and phone number. They call to make sure the information is still usable.

After you get this call they will start to charge your account from $2.00 to 99.00 over and over from 100's of fake online stores for some kind of junk with a real value of maybe .10 or up to a 1.00. They mail you this junk as if you made a real order using your charge/debit card.

Received several calls on my cell phone from these guys, using both an 800 number and the 727 number. Called me late at night, not to mention called my cell phone, which I pay for. I got pissed and filed a complaint against them with the FTC, you can file online and it costs nothing. Maybe if FTC gets enough complaints they'll fine the company.

A friend of mine who lives in Germany got a call from this number while she was staying in America with her boyfriend. They had her address, and when she had her father research it, he said that they were some kind of "gangsters", as he put it. I can't believe they've been getting away with this since 2006, and no legal action has been taken.

i just got my credit card so i don't have a lot of purchases on it. So i was able to track down who gave it to them Experian the credit report place.Besides them the only other that have that have that same info is the credit card company it self.

This number kept appearing on my cell phone and when I finally answered it was some company that was offering discounts based upon info. from one of my credit cards. They are very aggressive and talk very fast and are rather pushy. Even when you say that you're not intereted they insisst on sending you information.

They said they got my number from something I bought online. Well they called me told me about the free $40 gas card,and that I would recieve some packet full of coupons or something like that.He said I'd have two weeks to cancel membeship and be charged nothing. So i called back the number to see whats going on and it kept on saying all agents are busy and that if i want to be removed from their calling list to enter my phone number. I have been receiving a call from them twice a day. I have ignored it until today when I finally answered my cell phone when they just kept saying hello and then hung up. I asked what I was supposed to have purchased and she couldn't tell me because they din't tell her my personal information. These morons have called my home as late as 8:30 pm. Contact the attorney general in your state and representative. Do Not Call list is a phony operation and when you register a complaint the response is all ways the same. Nothing will be done unless they get "a certain number of complaints", which number that is ......is never specified.

This company has been calling my AY&T mobile phone number twice a day for two weeks and won't leave a message, and the number always rings busy if I try to call it back.

Got called on our cell phone, man said he was going to be sending us some free vouchers or gas cards or something. Told us the last four digits of our credit card, which thankfully is an out-of-date one. Indicated that after the "free period" or something, we'd get charged for having the cards, don't know, hard to understand. Immediately replied with "I want to opt out now". He responded with "What is your problem with saving money?" Repeated "I want to opt out now", he repeated "what is your problem with saving money". Back and forth like that three times. He asked one more time "What is your poblem with saving money", replied "none of your business", he replied "Yes it is!" Extremely rude. Finally he gave us another number to call to opt out, but he rattled it off so quickly, couldn't write it down, he hung up.

I just got the call today, but I don't answer unknown numbers. Based on the comments that you all have left I think these people got my number from when I signed up to buy Kevin Trudeau's book of natural cures for free. He was offering his to books for free on tv and you only had to pay for shipping. When I called they did ask for my telephone number and they did offer me a fre magazine subscription the gas card and a prepaid cruise...I'm assuming these are the same people. Hope this helps!

I blocked my # with the national do not call # it's 888 382-1222. this blocks your number from telemarketers for 5 years and if they call you you can sue them.

This person was amazingly rude. I was super polite and was hanging up the phone as I was saying: "thank you, have a good day, bye bye." The whole time this gentleman was basically going off on me saying they only talk to people who answer their phones...yaddie, yadda.

I received a call from this number earlier in the day and when I answered they hung up.

When they called again they asked my name and if I were the wife of my husband. Confused I answered yes.

Jumping right into his sale he went on and on in a very confusing manner. I am adept to this sort of communication and this was a very well trained guy. I cut him off to ask politely where exactly he got this number and he said:

I got the same call about a $40 gas card. They are definitely pushing the limits of what is legal and what is illegal. They are careful to word everything just right like they say "we are going to send you a $40 gas card", not "we have sent you a $40 gas card" so if you complain later they can prove that they had not sent you anything until you agreed. I made a purchase from a TV show 2 1/2 weeks ago. Since then I've gotten many calls from "Unavailable", didn't answer after the first 2-3 (no one there) because it uses up my cellphone minutes. The many later unanswered calls were of no duration with no message. Today is the first day there's even a phone # in caller ID. Moral of story may be: Don't give phone # to any business you have no long-term relationship with? No one needs your phone # to process a credit card order. Hmph. It just called again. No duration

No caller I.D. but we receive several calls a day from this number. Offered my mother some sort of coupon boook, Gas savings card and Wal Mart gift card. When my mother said immediately she was not interested, the Representative (female) would not take no for an answer.
The follow up calls received from this number (several times a day) result in a hang up on the other end.
The theory mentioned previously of a machine calling several numbers at once, then connecting the Rep with the first to answer, makes sense.

I called the customer service line as well and it worked, the representative helped me out with the way the program worked. Hi, I followed erdal's advice and called 18004751942 and 18002319206 and they asked for my phone numbers, they said that I did not have an account yet, if I just got the call I maybe had to wait 3-5 days when the telephone, marketing company turned in the daily results. There is a rogue company buying infomation to include your credit card info and turning in false info to buy memberships, in which they make a small profit on from leads. If you answer the phone, with hello, and or said yes to anything, you need to make sure that you don't have an account. I was told if I see a charge for $1 with a phone number beside it that I needed to take action, because after 30 days it's 19.95 a month. I will be cancelling all my credit cards

The only things I have been involved recently is USAA Credit Card and USAA CAR INSURANCE. I can't think of anything else at the moment that I have done recently. I hope it was not USAA because they saved me alot of money on my car insurance..

I can't say they are to blame for use of my cell, (I won't know until after the 20th) but they are definitely annoying.

I've been receiving these calls from 727-712-0382 a couple times each day for the past week on my cell phone. I don't answer unknown numbers, so I feel lucky when reading what has happened to others. However, my number was registered on the "Do Not Call Registry" since last year. This is the first company who has continued to call during the day and during the night; they refuse to leave a message. I just filed a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission in regards to this, thanks to a suggestion from someone on this website. If you wish to do the same go to: ftc.gov then click on the "consumer protection tab" and select "file a complaint". Good luck to us all in dealing with these persistant people.

Guess what-same story with a different twist-they ID's themselves as my credit card company and said this was because I was a valued cardholder. I actually said yes to get him to shut up and because I thought I would cxl it as soon as I got it in the mail. But its been nearly 30 days and 1 came but the other for the gas never has. So i was going to call my credit card company and cuss them out when I decided to google the # instead and low and behold I've been scammed. QR may be getting the last four digit from sales receipts, if you use CC or debit cards for purchases the last four digits are displayed on sales receipts. I have made a lot of purchases in the past 6 months and haven't received any calls. Some stores also ask for your phone #. I don't give them my phone # because it is unlisted. You don't have to give your #. Just tell them you would rather not. I am only commenting because my daughter started getting calls today from this number.She went shopping yesterday. She hasn't answered her cell. I told her not to answer if it shows a long distance call. If it is someone that knows her, they will leave a message.

I have received calls from this number repeatedly over the last few months. Every time I answered I was disconnected. Every time I called back on my cell phone, I would get a user busy tone and a few times a pick up with empty air space. I looked up the number on the internet and found this site. My boyfriend called the number from a land line and got through to an automated message asking us to wait for a customer service rep. He waited and the message explained that Quality Resources Inc is a tele-marketing firm of various consumer products. Within less than 5 minutes the system gave me the option to put a number on the do not call list or hang up. If you say do not call list it lets you put in your cell number in my case or whichever number they are calling you on and says you'll be off in 72 hours. After many months of frustration hopefully their calls are over. I think I will still contact the FTC per the prior Jennifer's comment.

These people are getting your info from your credit report. To protect you, only the last four digits of any account are displayed on your credit report, those are the ones they have. These are available to anybody who can gain access to your credit report. That's how they find your cell number too. These people think they are so very clever. They play a game of numbers. That is their weakness. Repeatedly ask for their mailing address. As extra ammo, tell them you need to send them legal documents, and keep repeating your requests until they do then hang up. !DO NOT ENGAGE THEM IN CONVERSATION! They are criminals so they will chemically react to your threat whether they let on they believe you or not. Expect them to not believe you. You have the power to bend these people to your will. i always say i'm not home and they wont leave a message they just say its a courtesy call. i tried the # back and got a busy signal. i wish they'd answer i'd start calling and harrassing them 50x a day

Someone from this number called my cell phone 3 times yesterday. When I tried to call back, it rang twice and then I heard what sounded like music (or a radio playing) in the background. No one answered. It was odd. Readnig these posts I'm concerned about identity theft as well.

I started receiving these calls a couple months ago, multiple times a day. I assumed it was a creditor until I had all my bills paid and still kept getting the calls. I finally answered and they noted they were from my "Perferred Visa Card" listened to the schpeil about $40 dollar gas vouchers and my future enrollment in a discount program for $19.95 a month to be billed to the last four digits of my CC. I was then transfered to another person who verified my mailing address and continued to tell me about the discount program, which I was able to cancel at anytime. They asked me to key-in my birthday, but never my credit card. The entire conversation lasted upwards of 10 minutes. After getting off the phone, I googled the number and found this site. I was extremely worried and hoping they only had the last 4 digits and were simply phishing for the rest. Unfortunately two days later, I DID receive charges to my card, 2 one dollar charges from WC* Value Plus (800-475-1942) and WC*HOMEPLAY (800-566-8640). I googled these numbers and found sites with users complaining of "mysterious charges" but that calling the company, was actually able to stop the billing. However I just drove to the bank and had them cancel my card. While with the bank representative another charge for 9.95 appeared from another company... These bastards actually DO have the card numbers, or in my case, they did... Never buy anything off the TV.

I get these calls as well, they are phishing. You can get the last four digits of someones credit card off of any reciept where you used your credit card. They are trying to get you to verify your billing address and get the rest of your credit card numbers, thus the discounted, not free gift. Do not even validate your name and hang up. It is easy to tell if the caller is a telemarketer when you answer the phone, if they do not respond to your greeting right away it is a telemarketer.

I had the exact same experience as Kevin and pretty much everyone on here. They had all my info, tried to sell me the same plan, and were extremely rude and pushy. I actually ended up having to yell at the guy and have him put his supervisor on the phone because he insisted that I had agreed to the plan (scam) when I never did. The supervisor was worse and I had to hang up on him after telling repeatedly that I am not interested in the program. I am cancelling my Visa card at the moment...wicked sketchy

***I have been receiving calls from 727-712-0382 with a Caller ID of Quality Resources. I found that Quality Resources is a "sister" company to Passport to Fun. After purchasing a TimeLife CD set of Oldies, these calls started because it signed me up for Passport to Fun which is a monthly billed program which claims savings on purchases (which I cancelled immediately). I have just called the Passport to Fun phone# 800-211-9741 and questioned them. The phone person admitted that Quality Resources is associated with them. She completed a Do Not Call Request and said that it will take up to 90 days to complete. If you call Passport to Fun 800-211-9741, press #1 and do not enter a membership number, phone number or credit card number.....just wait for the message to repeat a few times and you will be forwarded to a real person.

Should mention the CC's they have access to are with Chase and Juniper. Maybe they are hacked into their computers....!

These morons call me all the time. Started recently. I have made a couple purchases online, have had this phone for over a year. They call 2-3 times per day. They started several months ago and will not stop. If you have ever had an issue with a bill collector, they will give your name to this company to be spiteful.

Just go to ftc.org and click on the complaint form. This page contains the companies address and all of the other information you need to file. Its very simple and only takes a minute or two. Dont just complain about these people, do something about it.

Today I got call from 727-712-0382. I asked them how they got my cell # but didn't get clear answer. My CC was charge for $450.00 yesterday in Safeway online. Thank God Wells Fargo called me to verify transaction because it was made not in the city I live. I canceled my CC and today they give 4 last #'s of that card.

Follow up to my last message - I found out that it's illegal to use an auto-dialer to call a Cell Phone. If you think they used one to call yours (like they did mine) you should mention that in your FTC complaint.

these people have been calling my cell phone everyday, about 10 times a day. I told them I wasn't interested and they wouldn't give me a chance to speak. I don't know how they got my card number, but I canceled it. Because I knew they had signed me up for something I didn't want. And when I told them no they said that I would have to call and cancel anything they had signed me up for. So if you see this number please don't answer.

I have received several calls, each time from a different person. The last time I told the guy who called that I wasn't interested but wanted to know where he got my credit card number. He said I must have recently ordered something either on the internet or over the phone and used that number. He said they are a marketing company. I don't know how to get rid of them either, but this is the kind of thing that can happen when another company sells your number on a call list. It's freaking annoying!!

I was on hold and after awhile a voice message comes up saying that if you want to be removed from their calling list to please push 1 and enter the 10 digits. They said it takes up to 72 hrs for the number to be removed. I'm not sure if it works, but you guys can give it a try.

A guy named Quality Resources called with way more information than he should have had, kept trying to push these products that I was not interested in. He asked me to enter 4 digits into the phone with made me immediately leary. I told him again I wasn't interested then hung up the phone.

The first thing I did after the phone call is called the credit card company and talked to their fraud dept in regards to them having my information, and they changed my accounts and blocked any possiblity of them charging anything to that credit card.

I get all kinds of telemarketer calls at work since I answer the phones. I tell these rude people that employees cannot recieve calls or have messages but they stil insist on leaving a message. I finally call the number back and ask the customer service to take the name and number off the list. This has worked for me in most cases. In the more severe, I have quoted the Fair Debt Collection Act and sent certified letters to them stating the persons name they asked for, the date and all details I coudl remember. Only after this did they stop calling. Oh, you can also tell them that after warning over the phone and a certified letter, you will take legal action against them. That should stop them.!

Call back the number, after waiting on hold for five mins you are provided the company name of "Quality Resources." You can then have your phone number removed after following the prompts.

I have been gettign these cals since Friday last. I had the same problem a few months ago, called me late Friday night then the following day first in the morning. Woman on the phone made the Gad card deal so I immediatly asked her wheer she got my details from. She claimed they are from 3rd party companies probably from some online purchase butn I stopped her dead informing her that I always check the box to not allow 3rd party companies access to my info and that I was aware of various scams so I would not afirm or deny any info they ahd on me. She was very quick to end the call after that.Now here I am two months later getting 4 cals a day that i refuse to answer. I got this call while i was in class for college, luckily I could not pick up the phone. Now im glad I didn't. I was suspicious of the number, so I looked up the area code and it's from Florida. I Don't know anyone in Florida. So I decided to check the number online and lo-and-behold, I find all this information on it. ill have to do the number removing if they call back again I guess.

This is the worst company ever. Angel I reccomend getting a real job to support your family.

I had this number call me 4 times today. When I told them I wasn't interested in the offer... he constantly told me that it was free for a month and then it was a $1 after. I asked them to remove me from the list but he definitely ignored it and went on talking about "the preferred customer" award... soooo annoying. Does anyone know how to avoid these kind of things?

I have rec'd calls from this company at my client's office. How they got that phone number I don't know. The first time they called I freaked out that they had the last 4 digits of my cc number. I kept asking how they got my cc number but they wouldn't answer me. I told them I was not authorizing the use of my cc for anything they were selling and hung up. I got another call today and just told them I wasn't interested and hung up. It turns out they only have the last four digits of the cc number and can't do anything with it w/out the rest of the number. I have now registered my client's phone number with the National Do Not Call List at donotcall.gov. I will now be able to file a complaint with the FTC if they call back.

Same experience as everyone else. I was told that I had received $40 worth free gas and was given last 4 digits of credit card.
The next person who came on the phone was rude and vulgar and when I told him I wasnt interested the 4th time it got worse.According to the BBB it is really bad. Complain to the area bbb at bbbwestflorida.org- just takes about 2 min to stop these people from scamming people!!!

i received a call from a representative and they ask did i want to subscribe to programs they are offering, i said yes and they said they will bill one dollar on my credit card, and i will receive a gas card, and a walmart card, so i waited 2 weeks to look for their information in the mail with the items promised, and i havent received anything, come to find up they didnt even have my information in the system when i called, want be subscribing from them and i check my statement and its not bill there, i am glad, its a scam i think.

I receive numerous calls on my cell from this number and they always hang up without saying anything. Around the same time these calls started, I began getting calls from 866-491-3929 and until today, they always hung up too. Today someone was actually on the line and when I started to ask to be removed from their list, the guy hung up. I called back and only got music - did not bother to wait.

I think I am going to take the advice of a prior comment and file a claim on the BB site for Clearwater and hope it stops these annoying calls.

They called twice on my cellphone. I talked to them the second time, and kept telling them that I do not want whatever they are offering. Because of my accent (I think), the guy I was talking to (in verification center or whatever) got so irritated and upset that he hang up on me in the middle of our conversation. I never said "yes" or "OK," but I have a feeling that they signed me up on something.

I know where mine came from though. It was sold by the ONE site that matches all criteria... my temporary phone number (waiting for a number portability transfer), wife's name and my cc#. it was given/sold to them by shopgetorganized.com. I Logged onto my wife's account there and sure enough, everything matched, plus they default the email prefs to "3rd party affiliates?" as "yes". bastards.

I can guarantee 100% where it came from as I gave out that phone # because I didnt care, used my CC#, and gave my wife's name since she asked me to order the stuff for her. NOBODY else has that combo of info.

Called 3 times - didn't recognize the number, no message left. If it isn't important enough to leave a message, it isn't important enough for me to answer.

i find it quite rude when telemarketers call my cell phone. calling the home phone is somewhat understandable but calling someones personal cell phone is pushing it. someone from that # calls me atleast 2x a day but i never answer.

these people are harassing me all day with their multiple calls for almost three weeks

I get calles from these people in waves. I'll hear nothing for weeks and then they'll start calling my cell at 8pm, usually twice a night. When I call the number back nobody answers- there's a voicemail box that says to remove your number leave a message, and its always full so of course I can't leave a message. Slimy bastards. If I could only punch you repeatedly in the face. A girl can dream...

-Me Continued-Yes I apologize some of you may have talked to some pretty mean people don't worry if they get caught being rude they are fired. we have quality control listening to us live and are managers walk around with a phone that they can listen to any of us without us knowing who they are listening to. Eveything seems to be legit except for the dialler constantly calling people who say no to us all the time. The only reason the mailing room asks for credit card # is if you held the line to receive and no longer had the credit or debit card in which case we enter on our screen. now after that i don't know how things work with being billed. only that if you aren't billed and don't recieve a package the verifyer messed up on your call and it got rejected by quality control so we end up calling you back of course the reps dont even know your name til its on the screen so if your last name is hard to pronounce and we mess up it becuz we had less than a second to say hi mrs/mr _______. And by playing games with the people that call you is not a good way of getting them Just request to be taken off of the list please then if the calls persist try finding a legal way to do things. well i hope this information helps a little. sincerly Angel

I work for them. I don't know for sure if it is a scam since im not the ones who recieve the packages. I sit in a room at a computer log in and the calls start coming. It is not any of the representatives faults if you have been called repeated times. If you do not want them to call anymore instead of waisting time to call them wait for them to call you then politly ask to be taken off the list. But as others have stated it takes up to 72 business hours for that to take effect. I'm sorry if it was me who called you repeatedly or shall i say after youve been called since i might have only spoke to you once, but i am supporting my kids. I just want to clarify you have it wrong we are sending 40.00 in gas vouchers and a shopping discount program called valueplus you can visit the site at valueplusonline.com but have to be a member to use the services. which we do ask for $1 to try for 30 days then 19.95 each month. It is supposed to save you money when your shopping, dining, traveling, grocery shopping, entertainment, and more. Now we are a marketing company calling preferred customers with a discounted offer since the general public pay 19.95 from the first month untill they call to cancel. which you can keep it as little as 1 day or as long as you like it. We are forced to be pushy and rebuttal at least 3-5 times it is our job to sell it and make bonus.

Same experience, I played with them, got them to blatantly lie a few times before I told their verification guy all about it (while being 'recorded'!), and also not to ever call this -unlisted- number again, and that I would personally be launching an investigation into their multiple frauds since that is part of my job...they called the wrong Doc. ;-)

I got them to stop calling my cell. First, file a complaint online with the BBB. The site is:

The BBB sent my complaint to Quality Resources, who forwarded it to their lawyers for a response. The lawyers said that I had been removed from their lists. NB: I bet it costs QR something to pay that law firm to handle each complaint. Food for thought :)

Second, THE USE OF AN AUTODIALER TO CALL WIRELESS DEVICES IS PROHIBITED UNDER FCC REGULATIONS. Note that even if your number is not yet in the "Do Not Call" registry, it is still prohibited to use autodialers to call cell phones. I informed the last (and final) rep who called me of this regulation and told her that every call I received from then on would involve a complaint from me to the FCC. She argued with me, claiming that it would take 72 hours to remove me from the list. I said that "This is a cell phone. Use of an autodialer for telemarketing purposes to call a cell phone is prohibited under federal regulations. EVERY call I receive, whether it's 72 hours from now or later tonight will involve a complaint to the FCC". Eventually, she hung up on me but I haven't received a single call since that one.

BTW, I don't think having only the last four digits of your CC is enough info. If that was enough, they wouldn't need to call you. I checked activity on my Credit Card and nothing so far.

I think they got my information from one item I ordered from QVC..That is the only thing i've ordered recently and used the card # they mentioned and the cell phone # they called me at. bitches.

Hmm! i started receiving the call from 727-712-0382 after purchasing "Kevin Trudeau" -Natural cures revealed books from TV ad.

They claim to be American Express sending a free gas card for $40 or something. Had my cell # and the last 4 digits of my cc. Said they were going to transfer me to confirm my address. I hung up... made me very nervous. Going to report them to Amex.

I just canceled a card based on information I read regarding "Quality Resources" at this site. They have been calling me repeatedly for the last month. I have no idea where they got my CC info but if they ever info on another number, I plan on knowing exactly who sold my information and it will be impossible for Quality Resources to use the number they bought.

My plan: Those of you who have Bank of America cards and want to figure out who's selling your CC information to Quality Resources: Use Bank of America's "ShopSafe" service, accessible via the Bank of America website. From your credit card account page, you can link to ShopSafe. ShopSafe generates a dummy CC number. You define a dollar limit for the bogus number and you define the expiration date, which can range from 2 months to 12 months. Each number is only good for one vendor and that vendor won't know that the account number you used isn't your actual account number but one that Bank of America has generated for short-term use for purchases from a single vendor. I plan to keep records of the temporary numbers from now on. If Quality Resources ever contacts me again and gives me the last 4 digits of my "account", it will be easy for me to track those 4 digits to the retailer or vendor who sold me out because the four digits will match. I also won't need to cancel cards everytime that Quality Resources gets ahold of a CC number they've bought. The number will be bogus for everyone but the retailer it was originally intended for (and may be expired, as well, depending on the timing).

If it were me, in addition to filing a complaint with the Florida Attorney Generals Office I would also contact the president/owner of QR, Ms. Cheryl Mercuris directly, and find out why she instructs her employees to repeatedly call you at home claiming to have your card info and pushing her operation.

As mentioned in my previous post, public records indicate that the owners full name is Cheryl Renee Mercuris, born 1965. in addition to the two numbers listed above, I also have Phone: 727-669-2242 Fax: 727-669-7762 and 727-669-8442. Cheryl's published email address is crmercurisATaol.com., crmercurisATqualityresources2.com might work also.

The records list a home address of 1746 Santa Barbara Drive, Dunedin, FL 34698. In addition to the business address, other addresses were: 201 Bayside Dr., Clearwater Beach, FL.. They also show that Cheryl is/was married to a Kosta B. Mercuris, her maiden name is Weiss. They were once partners and officers in a now defunct Florida Corp called SKY INTERNATIONAL MARKETING CORPORATION. Kosta is a partner in a current FL Corp: 3G GROUP, LLC and also MEDSOURCE, L.L.C. Telemarketer called and offered something in a quick, barely audible voice and said it was in the mail. I said no, no, no, send nothing and they called 3 more days in a row! Usually it sounds like kids playing a joke perhaps because they sound like they are laughing in the background. if tthis is "legitimate" at the bare minimum it is unprofessional.

They offered me the same thing as kevin.. But they told me that they was making me an offer cause i was a valued customer.. They used the name of my credit card company but gave me the last four digits of my debit card.. I knew that was wrong the second they said it. I told them not interested and hung up the phone. Bank is currently looking into it.. and has blocked all transactions that I didn't authorize.

Finally got them to stop calling. Check it out. I answered, they did the usual pushy salesman pitch thing. As soon as they told me the last 4 digits of my credit card # I went BALLISTIC, screaming that that card had been stolen two months prior (it hadn't been stolen, of course), and DEMANDED to know where they got their informaton on 'my purchase' from. The guy was kinda flustered and I demanded he give me his name and phone number. He put his supervisor on. I got the supervisor's name (Scott), and threatened to report them for aiding and abetting to the police. He ended up apologizing and asked if I wanted my number removed from their list. I, of course, said yes, but kept asking where they got their information from. They would only say 'from a database' and swore they didn't have access to my full credit card number. This was a couple months back, and I have not had a single phone call from them since.

Have been receiving calls 3-4 a day for the past week and a half ordered something from Thane.com and did the 3 month payment system. My husband decided to answer today- he couldn't understand them too well but he said they said something about Visa and about a $40 gas card. I called to cancel my credit card company and they said it wasn't necessary because there's fraud protection I told him to cancel anyway. I will persue this much further as well as return the item I purchased.

Told scam! They called me today on my new cell phone and tried to offer me a gas card. They had the last four numbers of my credit card. When I tried to say no the woman got pushy and hung up on me. I cancelled my card today.

Listen carefully..I ordered a product off the tv approx.Nov.-06.."I got free trial gifts for 30 days and if I didn't call and cancel, then a company got $20.00 a mth. complimenatary from my credit card and ignorance..I learned that 3 mths. and $60.00 later from a company named Shopping essentials..I got a phone call today from Quality resources, offering free gas,gift cards,and free 30 day trial gifts.If not called and cancelled after the 30 days then my card which he gave me the last 4 digits will be charged all this money..I was dumbfounded that this man knew 4 0f my credit card numbers and was about to question him when he mentioned the company "shopping essentials"..I ordered 1 product. Now three companies have knowledge of my card.."that I know of"..I am now on a mission which has led me here..Sharing my experience,expressing my anger and frustration and alerting others..

I ignored call & looked up.. oh, joy! I've only had this # for about 5 wks.. I think I updated Ebay or Paypal info.. That's the only thing online that I can recall, I might have provided my new cell number. That and our Toll Road system in Houston, TX. They called me back after i hung up from the stage of "hi my name is" and "We're going to send you to our mailroom".

My wife got the call tonight. She asked me earlier in the eventing if I recognized the number, as this is a FL Co., and I have friends and family in FL. Of course I advised that none of them had the cell number for her and only mine.

When they called it was an offering for a $40.00 Gas Gift Card for a trial period of $1.00. They also knew the last 4 digits of the Credit Card that my wife has. I asked how they got the number and who they are affiliated with, and the only response was that my wife had used the card for an internet purchase. This is obviously a scam.

When I became pushy on details and advised them they do not have permission to charge a dime, they became even more pushy and then abruptly ended the call and hung up.

We called the credit card company and advised them of the call and to not allow any charges from Quality Resources and alos provided them with the phone number. They are referring the number to their Fraud unit.

We are also calling our local News Agencies to advise them of this and also advising my Brother in law who works with the FBI to see what they can do with this company.

I reported them to the FTC, and recommend that you do the same. If your phone number is on the National Do Not Call Registry, you can do so here ftc.gov. If you're not on the registry, you can register, in which case you'll have to wait 31 days to file a complaint.

When I asked who they were and what they do they hung up on me.

I was leaving work. I answered the phone. The caller (male) asked my name and if the last four digits of my credit card were correct? I said no. He again said aren't you so and so and isn't this the last four digits of your number? I asked what this was about and he said it was a Marketing/Research firm that I had purchased something from.. This is a telemarketing technique where a machine
makes phone calls and records the time of day when a
person answers the phone. This technique is used to
determine the best time of day for a real sales person
to call back and get someone at home. ! What you can
do after answering, if you notice there is no one
there, immediately start hitting your # button on the
phone, 6 or 7 times, as quickly as possible. This
confuses the machine dialed call and it kicks your
number out of their system. Since doing this, our
phone calls have decreased dramatically.

I read the coment from Bob and an idea came to me. He said "used to order sontehing of TV". Yes, I ordered a book on TV with this card. I think phone call started since I used the card to order the book.

Looking at some of these comments I no why I am receiving this call from this number. Ordered something with my cell phone via TV offer. Bad idea as I'm getting other calls from Florida also and I never a pick up as I know its a tellmarketer. I guess they have all the time in the world to harrass people. It's 2-21-07, they called me TOO! Same as all of you, they had the last 4 digits of my card. Said they were sending me this $40 gas card for free. Didn't ask just said they were sending it. I said I don't want anything you have to offer and remove my name. He was short, but polite and said "sorry for bothering you, if you have any questions you can call us at 727-712-0382". OBVIOUSLY I was suspicous and started looking into it...found this site. SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE! My card will also be cancelled!

Interestingly enough. My wife had gotten one of those Pre-Screened credit card offers in the mail. When we went to their website, and entered in the code on the mailing, it automatically pulled up her name and adderss. We did the full SS#, DOB, and all, and she got approved for her credit card (although it was for a measly $300 bucks). Not 15 minutes later, did we get a call from this number, trying to sell her this $40 gas card stuff. So, it was pretty obvious where they got her info from. But good thing we've got one of the best Identity Theft monitoring & restoration companies already watching our back!

The last 4 digits of the card they got was my debit card which I used for internet shopping sometimes. I knew it was a scam but I want to know what more info they want from me. I let her transfer the call to "verification center". They read my billing address, then they asked me to verify my month and date of my birthday. I hung up right away and cancel my debit card. I'm pretty sure once you gave them your birthday then they can start charging it. Don't fall for it!

Until today i didn' answer but they already call me twice per day since thursday february 15, 2007.

I do not answer calls from numbers I do not recognize or names that I do not recognize. I have received 7 calls in the last 2 days.

This is "BULL"! I ended up setting my voicemail to pick up instantly so I can screen. Think I am going to send this webpage to the F.B.I. and have them take a looksee!

I registerd my number with donotcall.gov but this company still calls me 4 or 5 times a day. I filed a complaint on donotcall.gov. If you have registered your number on the do-not-call list for more than 31 days, I suggest you file a complaint on donotcall.gov.

I've been getting 4-5 calls per day from these jerks. They sometimes call late at night. Quality Resources needs to be sued!

Number keeps calling my cell number at least three times a day, rings four times then hangs up. I google all unrecognized numbers when I can before I answer. Don't answer and their automated computer calls will eventually drop your number. This has worked for me on several other telejerk scams.

I am sure glad for this website and all of your comments! This number...yep you guessed it...727-712-0382, Quality Resources, keeps calling. I haven't answered yet because I don't answer unknown numbers but now I never will answer this one thanks to all of you! Although, one day I may decide to answer by saying, "Sherrif's office, how may I direct your call?" I am also going to try blocking that number from my phone.

Just say no and hang up on the scum bags. Pushy caller wanted to send me a free $40 gift card and said that I would need to call in to cancel to avoid having my credit card billed $19.95 a month. She read the last 4 digits of my credit card which was obviously sold by someone I placed an Internet order with. No charges on my account as of yet. You could actually tell the girl was smiling, and at some points, laughing as whe was reading her cheesey script so fast that I could not even understand her. They are recording your call and just waiting for a verbal "yes" or "okay." I hung up as she was trying to verify my residence address. I'm sure the next question was going to be about the first 12 digits of my credit card.

They are calling on a credit card I cancelled for this very reason. Every time I get one company to stop another one starts. They must seel the number to eachother.

They zapped my credit card for two charges: 9.95 and 1.00 AFTER I told them I didn't want their product. I wrote them a certified letter telling them I wanted them to remove me from any lists they have and to put me on their do not call lists and not to charge my card for anything. I also disputed both charges with my credit card company and just yesterday I got notice they have credited my card for both charges. It only took about two weeks to resolve the problem.

this number shows up on my caller id as Quality Resources, they usually hang up when no-one answers; however they have tried to just call my first name "Tracy I need to talk to you" "Tracy". I guess this is an attempt to make me think this is someone I know. Guess they think I can't read caller id.....

Keeps calling, never leaves a message. This guy needs to stand in front of a judge and then sent to prison for several years. This racket has all the earmarks of a criminal enterprise.

I also received these calls lately, I called the 727-712-0382 # back and there is an option #1 I think to have your phone # taken off their list and it takes up to 72 hours to be removed. I noticed this happening after googling some stuff on the internet to get info now they got my cell # somehow. SO, Don't agree to any kind of offers over the internet, that's how they start calling you!!!

I have been receiving calls from 727-712-0382 with a Caller ID of Quality Resources. After receiving a call last night which woke me from sleep I decided to do some research. I found that Quality Resources is a "sister" company to Passport to Fun. After purchasing something from a TV ad I was signed up for Passport to Fun which is a monthly billed program which claims savings on purchases (which I cancelled immediately). I have just called the Passport to Fun phone# 800-211-9741 and questioned them. The phone person admitted that Quality Resources is associated with them. She completed a Do Not Call Request and said that it will take up to 90 days to complete. I am offering this information if it pertains to your situation and might help. I say might because I am offering this information without verifying that it will work - but am hoping so. If you call Passport to Fun 800-211-9741, press #1 and do not enter a membership number, phone number or credit card number.....just wait for the message to repeat a few times and you will be forwarded to a real person.

Telemarketer calls at twice once a day. Last call was 1/11/07 at 8:17 p.m. I don't know who this company is. The caller ID reads QLTY RESOURCES 1-727-712-0382.

The call came to my cell phone on 1/10/2007 at 10:20 a.m. I am on the no call list.

I started getting calls one week after purchasing cellular service from Verizon wireless. I'm not saying there is a causal relationship here, just providing info in case, when combined with others' experiences, a pattern develops. The calls were to my unlisted home phone number (provided to Verizon Wireless), not the wireless number. I didn't answer the calls, and will filter them out from now on.

We have come to call them "the no-bodies" at our home... sick of this hangup several times a day ongoing for months. Let's class action sue their ass!

$140.00. The funny thing would not take no for an answer. I simply hung up the phone and called my card company. I then tried calling the number back and it's always busy.

Got call from this 727-712-0382 number on 2007-01-04, but did not answer because of the comments on this site. Didn't want to waste my time. I think it is a scam.

They failed to identify themselves, asked for my wife, which was sleeping then hung up on me. Bastards! I called back and followed the prompt to remove our number from their database. We'll see.

i upgraded my cell phone and got a new number and who these jerks called me before i even gave the number out. how did they get it. they have called me at least 5 times and i've only had the new phone 2 days. i have never answered the call but i think i will the next time and let them know i'm an attorney.........lol

They call everyday several times a day on my cell phone (a number I don't share). Caller ID only shows their number, from the very first call I started doing online research of the number and it's all negative. I don't answer and never will.

Got called about an hour and a half ago by this number (9:05pm pacific time). Didn't answer, just let the machine pickup. Actually didn't get a message, the recording was that if I wanted to make a collect call, to hang up and try again or check the number. I found out what hte phone number was by using *69.

They keep calling from this number. They wanted to record me, so I said I was going to record them also and they said they could not hold any longer and hung up.

They get the CC digits right off your credit report. Reports show the first 12 or last 12 of account numbers. If you pull a combined report it's possible to put a complete number together.

These people hook you into the 19.95 a month and it's impossible to cancel.

These folks have been calling 10 times daily, they leave no message and call at all hours. i have answered one time in order to tell them NOT TO CALL AGAIN, but that seems to make them call our number more times than before. This is harrassment, pure and simple!

I can not stand this company calling and hanging up after I say hello. There machine dials numerous numbers at the same time, the first to pick up is the one the rep. talks too, all the others are hung up on. It litterly ticks me off.

I got the same call from QUALITY RESOURCES (actually numerous calls that left no message - I didn't answer until today) and have submitted the information for my local news to research.
I highly recommend everyone contact your local news to have this company investigated.

They have been calling 5 times a day (sometimes more) for about a month now. My husband got on the phone the other night and the guy got an attitude with my husband. They said we would be removed from their calling list within 72 hours....so I guess we will see.

They called and hung up. twice in day 1. ID shows Quality Resources. My number is a vonage number, i wonder if that is how they got my number.

A few months ago I was receiving these calls, then they quite for a month or so. Now they have started up again. I get several calls a day from these people.

They offered me a gas card for free gas and wanted to sell me magazines for only the cost of the shipping.I asked them to stop calling my cell phone but they keep calling

These jerks have been harrassing me and co-workers for weeks...can't wait till they call again, plan to have some fun with them, ie: pretend we can't hear them, tranfer them to another line where no one picks up, put them on hold forever while "I get my credit card" ha ha!, tranfer them to the local police station, etc.... can't wait!!!

The only place I have ordered from is a place called Gem-,,can't remember the exact name but they cells on TV, a kit for kids to add gemstones to clothes, purses, shoes. The actual phone call to order is animated and very, very much pushy into trying to convince the caller, again, auto-recorded to buy MORE....i'LL TRY TO FOLLOW UP. I too asked to be taken off the list and now again I receive calls; harrassment indeed.

I have recieved MANY calls from this number, often 2-4 times per day. I haven't answered any of these calls yet, but after reading other people's experiences, I intend to have a little fun with whomever makes the next call! This is clearly harassment, and needs to be stopped.

Made the $40 gas card offer to my Dad, referencing the last 4 digits on the card he used to order something off TV. He bit on the offer to get the gas card, thinking he can cancel the other offers once it arrived. The salesdroid spoke very fast and I'm not sure Dad really understood everything he was agreeing to. (For once I'm glad he always uses the speakerphone.)

Called the number late to see who it was. Followed the voice menu system to remove my number form there database. We wil see if that works.

Now they are calling again and then hanging up when I answer. After reading thes other comments I am concerned about identity theft. Who are these people and why are they calling? They need to stop.
