Who Called Us

I am sick of this number calling and not saying anything to me when I answer.

is there a way to make them stop? it's annoying the crap out of me.

I am putting them on call blocking but everytime I do a new number pops up

Called about 5 times in the last two days. Don't say anything.

They've called 4 times today, no one talks and the caller id says "have it all"

I've started to receive these calls for a couple days now and they pretty much do the same thing as I've read in all these comments. Like hang up after one ring, hang up when u answer. Call back get busy signal or it rings and rings and then an answer thingy comes on. We called Consumer Complaint and they said its not a valid company and they have found ways around the Do Not Call list, she told us to call the attorney general in that area (florida). I did speak to one of their people at this scam place and they was offering a crdit card for 500.00 after 129.00 of my money told them I wasn't interested gave me another song and dance about bad credit told them again I wasn't interested he said "enjoy your bad credit" and hung up. I'm not sure what information these people have on the people they call but I would do exactly what that one person said give them a dose of their own medicine and give them a reason not to call and contact as many people as possible to turn them in. They have been calling for the last three days and they call like 6 times a day. Call the number back and its busy. Called the number down lower that someone else said to try and talk to someone about getting off their list, yeah diconnected, WTF Quit calling me!!

I got a call from these people, sayiny I was approved several credit cards. Then he said it would cost $129.95, I told him I have two Mastercards, that didn't cost me a thing. He HUNG UP on me.

The aforesaid company called me today at 9:20 P.M. I realized that this entity was a scam when they did not want to mail any information about their company.

This particular entity did not have a listed phone number; the phone number would not register through reverse directory.

Do not just give out personal banking information without first checking with their state of origin; in which; validating their validity through the Secretary of State Corporations Division.

This entity may be partaking in fraudulent business practices---Consumer Beware!

When I answer no one will speak and then they hang up. When I try to call them back they pick up the phone, but will not speak.

They call me on my business line and then hang up when I answer.

just got called again and got an answering machine....hope they liked my message, which in short said "if you and/or your scamming F*** buddies call one more time, I will call the police and I will press charges."

Been getting calls on my cell from this number the past week. Every day I get at least 2 calls from them. I never answer numbers I don't recognize, and they don't leave messages. Today though whoever called screwed up, and the didn't hang up before my voicemail started recording. I could hear a bunch of chatter in the background as if it were some sort of call center then they hung up. Just some scam I'm sure. I just ignore them. They'll eventually give up or get busted and go away.

I'm on the do not call list, doesnt help... called the numbers suggested, they've been disconnected... filed a complaint with the BBB of west florida, no response yet... they've been calling for 2 weeks several times a day

these people are rude obnoxious and absurd to think i was going to let him 'verify' my bank account information so he could set me up for a unsecured credit card without even having to check my credit. I asked what the fees were and mentioned that I was troubled by the call cause they called my cell phone for one and for two i havent applied for anything lately. I said i was looking up his phone number online and asked for a web site address to verify his company information and he got ticked off said apparently I didnt want to fix my credit and cursed at me and hung up the phone - do not do business with these people!!!!!

These people call 4 to 8 tiems per day every day at all hours of the day and night. They need to STOP NOW!

i get around 6 calls a day from this number and it's always no answer i just ignore it, and they have lowered it to about 2 a day so hopefully it will be 0 soon.

This is freaky. I got a call from this number, 727-585-4762 and when I picked up, nobody answered. A few seconds later, I got a call from an UNIDENTIFIED number. I decided not to pick up. Caller did not leave a message.... This is so upsetting!

I got a spate of calls from these clowns about a year and a half ago and had gone onto their website to tell them to cut it out. Their scam was that they called several times asking for 'James King'. Most of the callers had East Asian accents. The sixth or seventh time, they called, the caller (an American) said 'I've got a no-fee visa card for James, you want it?'

They have called for the last 3 weeks the first call they asked for my husband for a credit card then after that they will not say anything. I get up to 10 calls a day on my home phone and they will call until 11pm. Today when they didn't answer I said I was going to call the phone company and report them for harassment. So I did.

National Consumer Credit, thats what they say the name is if you ask when you call 727-596-8705. I told her about the rude calls I had been getting, and the swearing, and all she said was OH MY!, The number 727-596-8705 actualy does stop the calls. Call it don't leave a messege, keep calling until you get someone, and after you get put on the Do not call list, ask the name of the company, and then tell her the experience you have been having with them, Then if you would come back on here and tell everyone else how it went it might help!

i cant get decent sleep because these ppl keeps calling my house. i called the number back to speak with a supervisor and he gave me a number to call their supposedly corporate office. the number he gave me was to rejection hotline . i feel so violated i dont know what to do. is there something that could be done legally to stop these ppl???

Received a response from National Consumer Services through the BBB. It was a form letter about how they taped the conversation. Nothing that they violated a Vermont State law regarding phone solicitation. Don't even answer the phone if you see this number! or 727-585-4765 or 727-596-8705

They call me everyday from multiple different numbers requesting my checking account number. In return i am supposed to get a 6000 visa. Right... When someone asks for your ss# over the phone beware.

My husband gets calls 4x a day from this number; when he called back and asked for a manager they said F*** You and hung up. I think the best thing all of you can do is file a report with the Better Business Bureau; they just opened a file on this co in May 07. Why not try playing their game, Many of the comments have listed the name and address of these people, why not go to some of the scam sites that we all get emailed everyday on our yahoo or hotmail accounts, and enter their info so that the other scammers will be calling them. See how they like the other side of the game!

I'm glad I googled this number. This person has been calling every day, without leaving any messages. Today I was finally able to answer and all they said was my name, and then hung up. I'm certainly not picking up next time.

These people change their name on occasion but its all a scam. Don't answer and don't send money! Report them to FCC at fcc.gov or any other anti fraud group you can think of.

I got a call from this number today as well. when I called back the number was busy. are they mass calling cell #'s? is there a do not call list for cell numbers? i registered with the government one but they must have gotten my number from a purchased list of some sort. Not Good!!

This number called me three times a day at the same time every day for about two weeks. I finally answered, he said , is this Trisha and my last name, and I said yes. He said you have been.. and I cut him off and I said please take my name off your list. He hung up and they haven't called back since. I must have gotten a nice person that time because they didn't hang up on me and they haven't called back since. Just wanted to let you know that it finally stopped for me.

This number calls numerous upon numerous times everyday, six days a week. VERY, VERY Anoying. I don't answer and they never leave a message. From what I have learned on this site its nothing more than a SCAM!!! God, I wish they would quit calling me!!!

Go to this website and file the complaint online, if you have a cell phone try to keep track of the last three or four times they called you to record it on the complaint form. It takes like five minutes of your life and is the only real thing we can do to fight them: fcc.gov

these guys have been calling my phone for about 6 weeks, when I or my boyfriend answer there is no one there. Today my daughter answered they said something to her but she couldn't understand what they said,so she hung up; is there any way to make them stop calling? I've been getting calls from this number for three weeks, several times a day. I work for a government agency - I answer the phone with our company name - a judicial branch - they immediately hang up. When I answered the phone "hello" (now that I recognize the number) they responded. I told the woman that they had reached a government agency and we would report them if they continued to call. Three days later, the calls are starting again. I'm filing harasment reports, etc. with the appropriate agencies. I'm tired of being distracted from other things and wasting time answering the phone before I realize it is them!!!!

They won't stop. The only thing that worked for me was snarling and jibbering like an insane idiot to scare the hell out of them when I answered their calls three or four times. The case was filed in February 2000 as part of .Project Biz-illion$,. a multi-prong attack by the FTC, the Justice Department and law enforcement officials from 29 states on business opportunity scams. The FTC alleged that the defendants. advertisements led consumers to believe that their guide on starting a home-based business as a refund tracer was an employment opportunity for processing mortgage insurance refunds for the U.S. government.

it's a complete waste of time to talk to or try to negotiate with these people. They won't stop calling until they've had enough or believe you won't even talk to them anymore. i like the guy's suggestion above, just yell or try to hurt their ears somehow. i screamed bloody murder loud as I could into the phone yesterday when they called and hung up.

I've reported this number I don't know how many times and yet still they call me. Something has to be done. I encourage everyone who gets this call to answer and just start screaming or growling like a lunatic. Even better if you have a whistle you can blow. I have done this three times, and although they keep calling I hope it causes them some horrible pain. I heard one of the little bastards curse, hope my shrill screech left a ring in his eardrum for awhile. Make life as hellish as possible for these creeps until they stop calling. Definitely answer, and definitely act as obnoxious, creepy, and insane as possible until they hang up.

Yeah I'm getting the same crap from them. They call me 3-4 times a day and then when I answer they hang up. At first I wouldn't answer it but it's pissing me off so much now that I want to talk to someone so I can mess with them. Let's all report them or sue them or something...

Have lost count of the times I have received calls from this #....only once has a person actually responded when I answered. They wanted to 'verify' info on application for credit card. I told them I did NOT apply for a credit card. The man had an accent.....said 'thank you' and hung up. BUT they keep calling!!!!I was sure it was a scam and have not given ANY info to them.I am in process of trying to take my name from their list....do not know where they got my name!

This is the second "scam" number calling my cell phone. If it continues I have decided to call the fraud division of the FBI if I can only get them to answer their phone. I have had it with these creeps and am fighting back now, This has to stop. KS

They have called me three times. The second two times I answered. The first of the two times someone was talking, but not to me, and the phone call ended in 7 seconds. The second time no one was there, and the call ended in 7 seconds. I have never had anyone offer me a credit card, or ask me for money. I did try to call the number "Aaron" mentioned on here, but it was on a weekend, and all I got was an answering machine. I left a message about wanting my number off their lists, but I did not want to leave my number again. I will be calling back on Monday.

I called them today and told them i was from the FTC, they are not scarred and asked them if they knew that it was illiegal to telemarket cell phones her reponse was that we buy a list.

THE NUMBER IS FROM A VERIZON LAND LINE IN FLORIDA. THIS PERSON JUST KEEPS CALLING AND DOESN'T LEAVE A MESSAGE. I CALLED BACK ONE TIME AND I GUESS "IT" WAS IN A MEETING AND LEFT THE PHONE OFF THE HOOK FOR A WHILE BEFORE IT HUNG UP.

Calls everyday to my home phone. Nobody ever comes on the line. When I call it back I get a message that the number is out of service. I believe they are spoofing the caller ID with a bogus number.

Ihave been receiving calls from this number for over a month, sometimes as often as 3x a day. when i answer, they hang up. when i have my children answer, they will talk with them and ask personal questions about me and if i am married. Perhaps these are some sort of perferts/child molestors? when i try to call them they never answer. my next plan is to turn them over to my local sherrif dept for further investigation.

Almost like everyone else... the phone will not even ring, it will just say I have missed a call and it is from this mysterious number. There is a link on this page to the FCC to make a formal complaint and I have done so. I am on the National Do Not Call List, yet I still get calls from these idiots. I heard about this guy who made his living off of suing telemarketers and soliciters that called him, even though he was on the do not call list. Hmmm, maybe I should sue these people... maybe we should ALL sue them if we can ever figure out who the hell they are! If we do, lets own their asses.

It's the weirdest thing. I continually get calls from the number 727-585-4762 but yet my phone never actually rings when they call. I will look at my phone once in a while and it will say 'missed call'. When I look it is always that number and I can't figure out why the phone NEVER rings when that number calls. When you are getting multiple calls from 727-585-4762 you can call 727-596-8705 and talk to a human and ask to be removed from the calling list. I said I had been getting calls from 727-585-4762 and she asked me if I wanted removed from the list. Seemed to simple but I just did it so we will have to wait and see if it works. Hope this helps.

They called me, asked to verify some info, then called back. I said "don't call back" and the guy on the line got angry about me saying that I researched them and he said "No! We're fidelity credit services!!". And later he hung up quickly after I said I don't make 1000/month.

called my cell twice this week and I think they called a number of times about 3 months ago, which fits what I know about telemarketing they don't let go of live numbers even if they never get a response.

This number calls my cell phone about 6 to 8 times a day. I have contacted the donotcall.gov but it hasn't stopped the calls.

I looked up the number after repeated calls and found this site. I called them and told them to remove my number and do not call me again. I then called the Florida Attorney General's office to find out how to file a complaint. They said to contact these numbers:

I got a call on my cell phone. I was told that I was approved for a Visa. I told the guy I had not applied for any credit card. He hung up the phone. I tried to call back, but get a busy signal. I don't give out my cell number for anything. I was glad to see this site out on Google!

i've gotten five calls from these guys in about one week... I ignored the first three, picked up the fourth and got no answer, just a bunch of black women yelling in the backround, and ignored the fifth... Thanx for the updates on who this number is

I have been getting these calls for a while now. Same thing, I answer, they hang up. Or, I let it go to voice mail and they hang up. I called these people back, someone FINALLY answered. They said "debit credit" I asked to speak with a supervisor and the woman repeated 3 times, very slow, as though *I* were "slow", "HOW MAY I HELP YOU". I finally was able to tell them to NOT call me ever again and take my # off their list. She called me a bitch and hung up. I called back again and got some guy who said "debit credit, five million dollars, one time fee." I told him to take my # off their list and who do I talk to about this, and *HE* started to swear at me! I called my cellphone provider and they said they can't block calls and the only way to get it to stop is by calling the police. I registered with the do not call list, but these idiots keep calling me! What do I do?!?!?!

I was victim to a credit card scam a few months ago (lost $200 which is in dispute with "Ameritrust Financial"), and from the sounds of it, this is a similar concept. I receive calls from 727-585-4762 all the time... sometimes twice a day! I did call 727-596-8705, had to leave a message for them to pull my # off the list, so we'll see what happens. Don't give them money though, whatever you do!

I receive annoying calls from this number every single day. When I call back the number is busy or if it rings no one answers and then I will get a busy single. Hopefully after a while they will stop calling. They never leave a message. I'm glad I googled the number, but anyone calling a cell phone like that is not in their right mind and has to be a scam anyway. Who has the time to harrass people like this ???

I've received two phone calls from 727-585-4762. On my caller ID the identification just read 'Call', so I never picked up. The 2nd time there was a voicemail message and it was THE STRANGEST THING. I actually hear a recorded conversation between a representative talking about a 500 dollar offer and someone interested in the money. I'm not sure if I somehow intercepted a call or if two employees were just practicing their script. That message prompted me to look the number up on google and I'm glad I did! Thanks everyone for the heads up!

They call every day and ask to speak with me. I'm never home and they never want to leave a message. My wife, my kids, they are the scared. We have cat, we fear for cat safety. We call cat 'neko'. Please if you see a cat in a Fidelity van or anything like that, please say "here, neko! food!" and please bring my cat back home to me because I think Fidelity want to take neko from us. I have no relations with Fidelity. Our cat is scared. Help us.

They started calling twice a day last week. They call once in the morning around 11AM and afternoon around 5PM (Mountain time). They do not leave messages on voicemail. I am on the do-not call list.

On the next call, I'll have my daughter answer and talk to them in Japanese.

Continually get calls from them, claiming they are collecting on a debt that I know is resolved from years back. What's really strange, is the address they had for me I haven't lived at since 1996. When I asked them how they got my number, they had no answer. When I ask them to mail me a statement, they want money faxed to them immediately. They did send me an email saying if I responded they would email me the info. After replying, I never heard from them again - yet I still get called and harassed.

When you are getting multiple calls from 727-585-4762 you can call 727-596-8705 and talk to a human and ask to be removed from the calling list. I said I had been getting calls from 727-585-4762 and she asked me if I wanted removed from the list. Seemed to simple but I just did it so we will have to wait and see if it works. Hope this helps.

This number rang once on a company cell phone and hung up. Its habit for me to check unknown numbers in google, interesting stuff as I am on the do not call list and it is reported.

My phone has been receiving calls from this number for about 2 weeks. I answered today and the caller hung up as soon as i said "Hello". I have voice mail and I've never had a message left.

727-585-4762 is a scam introduces themselves as fidelity visa 727-585-4762. Takes 129.00-129.95 from checking and never hears from them again. Read other peoples srories on ripoffreport.com. I had the same rude encounter with these people as they did but didnt give them any money. It seems like people are aware of these same people but they have not been stopped. I dont understand why they havent been caught yet. Please dont fall for there scams if businesses really want your business you shouldnt feel pressured to sign up now for that great offer. Real businesses also want a person they can trust. So take your time and look the company up and get plenty of feedback.
