Who Called Us

I am seeing a lot of messages that state that this is a legit company, and they are doing good things for people. I want you to know that they are contacting my work and asking for my boss (45 years old - no children....EVER...not even married or in a relationship). They had her birthdate, and asked me to verify that, and then stated that the new baby that was born 07/01/09, and to tell her congradulations. They then asked for my full name and birthdate (supposedly to verify that I was of age to be speaking with). then they wanted MY place of birth. At that point I refused to give information, and asked if she would like my social security number and banking pin next. She said no, but she was going to ask for MY address and phone number (hey lady, I'm just the office assistant). If this isn't a scam, I don't know what is!!!

I get calls from 718-989-2508 and it says AGN Networks and the other numbers says unknown. I get them sometimes 8 times a day and never a message is left. I tried answering to find out how it was but all I can hear is the little musing when a computer is turned on the Windows thing and no on is there. So I give up. How do you get them to stop!!!!!!

First of all to the other statements above that this is legitimate and that I HAD TO HAVE REGISTERED...it's crap! I've never seen that site before and I don't register for things like that because it's phony. My husband is the phone who is getting the calls and he says he didn't register. It's not about us FORGETTING we registered because we didn't. I don't like the fact that they know I am expecting and keep calling. If these 'employees' cmments on here are true, if you can just nicely say stop calling than why are they stil calling? And the women seemed pretty pushy on wanting our last name and info. If I REGISTERED, wouldn't they know that? This is a lie and their so called employess or members who have used them are part of the scam.

got 'baby to bee' on caller id. they claim that they want to sell something to expectant mothers. they call multiple times a day.

it looks like "me" has a lot of time and no life to write such a message i bet "me" works for babytobe in the dominican republic and problably is a very close friend to a so called "ventura Castillo" in charge of all the shadiness in the D.R going on with all the parents social security numbers and credit cards

For a lot of you who keep complaining about countless calls coming in, ANSWER THE PHONE AND TELL THEM TO STOP CALLING! If they don't stop after you ask, then you have a reason to complain. To "WARNING" I have to say, that we should do what you ask and take everything you just said with a grain of salt..a giant grain of salt.

The truth is, if this company were practicing illegal marketing tactics, they would of been shut down a LONG time ago. But hey, check it out..they are still in business!

I do not work for this company, but I have taken advantage of their services. I never had to pay them anything, never will. They are purely a lead-generating business for other companies, meaning they are paid because they advertise for other companies via phone, and the internet. They aren't shady, they aren't stealing your information.

A lot of the griping you can google and read about exists because the company outsources their telemarketers as independent contractors, and because of this they can be very, very picky on who they hire and keep. People get angry when they are quickly fired becuase they couldn't perform to their standards.

Besides, the internet is so full of complainers, whiners, negative-nancies, and shut-ins. It's really quite comical to read these idiocies...I mean, who..with a LIFE comes to an internet board dedicated to reporting about who's calling everyone?! Funny I tell ya, FUNNY.

we gather up for example 100 peoples info, 15 actually did register in babytobee.com, 15 were friends and family members who register and the other 70% are bought from other companies online, and sold after we had the chance to get social sec. # and credit card info. Be very very careful, we will try to make it sound like we are sending free things, but seriously come on who gives free things away,from the 70% whome their info was bought from other companies only 2 out of 20 get the free things and only because they fell into the scam by providing personal billing info, just last week we had 7 minor credit card frauds, it is a small amount (and by minor fraud we refer to as for example billed and extra 5 dollars or billed for something like books they didnt buy or get but if you calculate that in a year...) comparing to the amount of people who we speak to but still, it is fraud

These obviously have a faulty dialer. Never sign up for stuff from babytobe.com because their dialer will call and call and call and hang up every time. I got about 15 hangup calls from them in the last few hours. It's craziness! After researching online, I see that lots of people have been having the same problems dating back quite a while. I blocked one of the numbers with hopes that they don't start using a different one to continue this harassment! SIMPLY TERRIBLE BUSINESS PRACTICE! Perhaps the FCC should know about this? Or maybe my states Attorney General?

hi i have been getting a mad amount of calls from this stupid number. it may be from signing up for a pregnancy website. how do you get these guys to stop calling???

When I respond I hear two computer bibs and that block my cellphone yesterday...

3 calls in past 24 hours from this number: 718-989-2507. Caller ID showed "unknown" so I didn't answer. Voicemail was dead air for 2 secs. The automated caller cleverly formatted the inbound number to look like an international call, or perhaps to confuse folks who look at the caller ID and might be curious because it didn't follow normal convention (i.e. (xxx-xxx-xxxx) First call showed up as: +7 189892508. Next two calls looked like this: 001 7 189892508. Very annoying. When this happens I create a contact for the number and label it so that when another one calls I can ignore it and theoretically they will stop calling after not reaching anyone.

I have gotten repeated phone calls from this company for the past week!! I work night shift and my phone rings off the hook all day long when I am trying to sleep. Someone has to stop these people!!!!!

This number has called me repeatedly telling me I've won a BMW.

3 to 5 calls everyday for the last week at all hours. If you answer the phone it takes about 2 minutes for someone to answer on the other end. Asked repeatedly that they quit calling. Called the number directly. They identified themselves as babiestobe.com. Identified myself as being on the DNC list. Asked that they send me a copy of their DNC rules. They can not comply. Asked that they stop calling.

I have received calls from 718-989-2507 and 718-989-2508 AGN NETWORKS, one time the lady just kept repeating hello on answering machine, and another tome my Mother in law answered the phone and the lady insisted to take to me then wanted to speak to my dad then she hung up, and there have been several calls and hangs ups the past few days, Just a few minutes ago someone Identifying herself as Sally from babytobe called and left a message on answering machine, when I picked up she hung up.

I have an "ignore" button and sometimes I hit that. Other times I just let it ring, hoping whoever it is will get tired and quit calling.

My parents have been receiving calls from this number for about two weeks. They call during weekdays when everyone is at work/school. The caller ID says AGN Networks, and yesterday they left a message asking if I was there (saying my name).

This is odd because I have my own personal cell phone and I haven't given anyone my parent's land line in over a year.

The truth is they are a scam, they fill your email box with tons of spam and call your numbers with telemarketing services. Do what you gotta do to stop these people, it is out of control.

It's been two days of calls from this number and not one message, not to mention that they hang up on me when i do answer. The one time that i answered and there was someone on the other end he had my first and last name, which of course i lied about and told him he had the wrong number.

first of all the website is babytoobee.com.....i work for this company and the only way for us to get the number is if you register with our website or a friend or a family member. it could be as a joke or as part of a survey to get a gift card for like walmart or target or win a free xbox or whatever. you know the win a $500 gift card for walmart or win a free ps3 just for filling out a survey. pay attention to what you do on the internet because you could be setting yourself up to get called repeatedly. in the meantime just turn your ringer off, ignore th ecalls or politely ask to be on the dnc list. thank you!

I work for this company, we do give out free things to expectant mothers or mothers that just had a baby. we aren't a scam. I have actually signed up myself and recieved coupons for diapers, free samples of forumula etc. If you read what you sign up for you will see that you gave permission for us to verify your information so we can make sure you get these things. I keep getting calls from this 718-989-2507 # on my cell phone. I screen all my calls, so I've never answered the call, but who are these people and how did they get my cell #? I've searched the web and found out that others get these calls and but does anyone know how they get our #'s? I've also received calls from a (212) area code as well and in my web searches have learned that this is also a # that these people call from. They never leave a message on my voice mail, so I've never called back.

Have you been to the website? Anyone can register anyone there. That is how they get the information. Not from spying and stealing. If you don't want calls, call them back, ask to be removed from calling list and guess what? They actually DO remove you then but if you don't answer or do answer and don't ask to be removed, you'll still receive calls.

I don't answer these calls, but it's coming up on my caller id as *asterisk.* They don't leave messages on voicemail, but call repeatedly throughout the day.

The company is Baby to Bee they send you free samples and coupons for baby stuff. You register on their website to get the offers, so at one point or another you or someone you know signed up for it.

babytobee.com is a LEGITIMATE WEBSITE that sends FREE baby samples and coupons to expecting and new parents. For those of you who registered at babytobee.com and then "forgot" that you did it: If you read what you were doing before you registered, you would see that you have the choice to have an agent call you or not. Babytobee.com sends out a lot of free things to the parents. They are things like forumula and diapers and other nice things. If you dont want them, DON'T REGISTER, and the folks that work at babytobee.com won't call you. They are not there to be abused, cursed out, or hung up on. You wouldn't want some one to come to you on your job and curse you out, especially when they are the ones who asked you for what you have to offer. So PAY ATTENTION TO WHAT YOU'RE SIGNING UP FOR!!! Yes, its free but they arent gonna just put it in the mail and send stuff out 'cause some of you seem to forget that you registered or that you even had a baby. It's in the interest of the business & its sponsors to make sure they are not sending diapers, gift certificates, & formula, among other things for babies, out to someone who saw the word "free" and decided, "hey I want it. Its free. who cares if I don't have a baby". Next time, read the terms and conditions and KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING before you sign up. You only have yourself and your friends to blame!

I have been receiving calls from 718-989-2507 sometimes twice a day. I never pick up b/c I do not know the number, and looked it up on here. I went to babytobe.com and sent a message to request a phone number to call to stop the calls and also said I would report to Better Business Buroue (sp) and the Nat'l Do Not call list. Hopefully something will come of it.

This is babytobee.com. They are a legit website that sends you free things for your baby. Unfortunately anyone can register for you on the website and when they do it gives babytobee.com permission to call you reguarding this whether you are on the Do Not Call list or not. So if you recently had a baby or are expecting a baby this is a great thing. So maybe you should research before you complain. This is a great thing they are doing for families in the US.

I called them back after I blocked the first number and they called from another number 718-989-2508 ...she asked me if I was Ashley I said no...then she said a last name similar and I said no...and I said you have been calling me over and over where she then laughed at me and hung up as I was telling her to take me off her call list!

This number won't stop calling my cell phone. i won't answer it because they call while i'm at work, but they don't leave a voicemail either. I tried to call it back to see what they wanted and to stop accessively calling but it gave me an out-of-order like signal when i tried calling.

Repeated calls. One voicemail and was just heavy breathing. I called them back and told them the calls were unsolicited. I also reported them to the Do Not Call registry and Canada's own abuse site: crtc.gc.ca. (I did a whois on babytobe.com and the IP address is homed in Canada)

It's babytobee.com not babytobe.com - apparently they try to get your CC info at the end of the call for $1.95 charge for all the 'free' stuff. Now I read that they are fishing for info such as city of birth, birthdays, seems like the id theft idea is what it is, dangerous stuff. Like their site is just a front to get your info, and in the phone call, they are looking for trusting people who will answer their questions - don't give them any info, report them, complain. Sickens me they're preying on pregnant moms?!

I received a call from this number. I called them back. The first rep hung up on me. So, I called back again. I told them my name and that I had gotten a call from their number. She said they were calling for babytobe.com- a website I supposedly signed up on. I told her to remove all of my information from their data base. She simply said okay. I asked if she needed my home number and she said they already had it. We'll see if it does any good.

First, they call Sunday night at 9 PM! Christ, baby to be is in bed. Anyways, pester for all kinds of personal information that they already have. When asked where they got it they claimed we registered on their website--which we did not, nor would we give out birthdays and other information they did have. This cannot be right. Of course, there is a 10 second pause before the computer flips you to operator.

They have automatic dialers that ask you to hold if a rep isn't on the line at that time. I should have known better to sign up for something "free." Baby to Bee was recommended by one of the parenting magazines. Terrible.

Baby to Be telemarketers - Man they are aggressive - 12 calls in the past 2 days.

I know I never signed up for baby to be. Called my cell phone today when I was in my bosses office, no message. I saved it under name scam call and have the ring as silent for them. Also have had a bunch of missed calls at home no message for the last few months, but Leave early AM and get home late pm so never been there when they call, plus the one line is my fax machine so they usually call that line because it shows up on my fax caller id and that only shows calls on the distintictive ring line.

Sometimes they ask to speak to someone, sometimes it's only breathing. They call SEVERAL times a day! They say they're babytobe.com. Why on earth would they call me??

Somehow I got on a list of expecting mothers and I get calls from this number all the time. They either hang on and breath or hang up right away. I'm thinking their computers are so slow that it doesn't tell them we are on the Do Not Call list until the number connects. At that point they hang up. Like my theory?

picked up the call and didn't get an answer after 3 "hello"'s and they disconnected the call. I called the number and got an automated recording that said thanks for calling babytobe.com we have a high call volume call back later and was disconnected. How can you get them to stop calling if they won't talk to you? I am at work and they are calling my cell phone.

In the past three days, I've received NINE CALLS from either 718-989-2507 or 718-502-8046. I've never answered b/c I don't know who it is. He or she never leaves a message. Several calls a day?! That's relentless!

Those two numbers have been calling me non-stop for two days. Sometimes they will leave a message and it's some one breathing, other times they won't ... it's so frustrating.

Just r'c'd 3rd call w/in 24hrs from this "babies2B" . I blurted my request that our ph# be REMOVED from their LIST, which was why we have had it listed on DoNotCall.gov for some YEARS now!
We, too, were called from the -8046 number earlier. At least there's a lead for AGN Networks domain (unlike babiestobe, which hides behind a similar sleazy service in Vancouver, BC!

Ijust got a call from them today. I actually spoke to them and they said my g/f had registered with them and they wanted my information "father to be" so I can start receiving my free stuff. By the way, my girl is not pregnant, either that or she's faking :(

I am continually receiving telephone calls from (718) 502-8046 and this number. Frustrating!!

WE've received calls from two numbers in the 718 area code for the last week, no one talks to us, and have only had one that went to voice mail and it was just static. We are also on the no call list. The calls are as follows

I also have been getting like 6 calls a day from this number, as well as 718-502-8046 (I'm so glad I'm not the only one!). They are calling my cell phone, and I have not answered a call yet - I'm hoping that they'll just go away (I'm not wasting my minutes on a sales call!) I hate solicitors - it should be illegal, especially on a cell number... Who are these people???

they called twice yesterday and no message, i finally picked up first time today and asked for my brother, i said this isnt my brother's phone and the guy said he'll call back. huh??? what an idiot. THey called just now and i got the same breather guy and then he hung up.

I keep getting calls from this number on my cell phone using my minutes up and no one is there.

I get numerous calls a day. Today, I'm trying to put my baby to sleep and the phone starts ringing. I start counting. It rings 15 times. The name on my caller id says AGN Networks. WHO ARE THEY AND WHAT DO THEY WANT!? I'm so glad I'm on the do not call registry. Also, I had privacy director but for some reason, that was cancelled and now the calls just won't stop!

I just got a call from this number and the Caller ID just read "New York". I'm on the do not call list too.

Like Jon, we have gotten calls from both numbers (this one and 718-502-8046). Haven't answered. I find it terribly funny at this household if it is babytobe.com LOL!!!

I just got a call from this number and it connected me to this automated message saying that the next representative will be on the line shortly. I immediately disconnected the call since originally I don't recognize the number at all. When I found out through net searches it's babytobe.com, I got upset because I had these callers before. These people want me to subscribe to their services but they would hang up when I told them they've called Canada (apparently they're a US-only based business) but it doesn't stop them from calling me, even though I warned them to take me off their calling list. If only Canada has a national do not call registry...

Have received numerous calls from this number and from 718-502-8046. I think they're related to the same cellspam "firm." I haven't answered any of the calls. I had a spike in calls from these two numbers in mid-to-late December, but haven't seen it come up in several days. Good riddance, I'm hoping.

This number keeps calling my fax machine but will not fax anything.

I also get repeated calls from them. We call him the "breather" because at first you won't hear anything but static but then he'll breath once and then hang up immediately. It's really getting on my nerves!
