Thanks to previous comment from "Angry"--with article from Seattle Times--that's best info yet and I've benn researching this through various sites--unfortunately many writers think the calls are actually coming from the number as listed and want to "visit" the caller. I'm sure the spammers/scammers read these websites too, so don't give anything that will identify you.

Received this call on 8/1 Caller Id indicated somebody named Richcreek, Angel Attempted to call back the number received busy signals, Called back today on 8/5/08 and received msg number has been disconnected and no longer in service.

I have been called by these folks for quite a while. Today it came from a local number 303-615-9102. The guy I spoke with said it was a company called "Division One Incorporated" and that he would take me off the call list. I'm a bit skeptical that he will do so ...

Got a call from this number on my cell phone. No message was left. Googled the number and is shows up as belonging to Allan Hall of Dillsburg, PA. Called the number back and it was disconnected. This happens quite often with 954 area code and 513 area code numbers too.

Getting this call reminded me to add my mobile phone to the Do Not Call Registry. donotcall.gov I highly recommend doing that to everyone here.

The company listed below, Warranty Administration Services is an administrator, not a sales center. They do not make any outbound calls. Someone is giving their name out as bait to move the focus from the real telemarketers making the sales calls. Find out who the real company is and ask to have your name removed from the calling list.

It mentioned something about a card and being able to save $ on your next bill. Hit 1 to talk to someone and 2 to not receive another call.

I don't answer phone calls that I don't recognize, especially if I'm at work. But it gets very annoying when your phone rings, distracting you even for the quickest second to look and see who the call is from. I get calls from this number and also 201-621-5696 ALL the freaking time. I've gotten a call as late as 10:30pm from the 201 area code number. I don't know what to do or how to stop them, and according to all of your comments, none of you have been able to either. I never answer, but I have called back before, and I just get a busy signal.

I took the call and was put on hold. Got a live person who hung up on me as soon as I said I didn't own a car. This is definitely a scam...

I never answer / return "strange" calls - leave a real message.

three months and 70 stop call request, any ideas on how to get these people. i have filed fcc complaints and many others, but nothing is getting done. if you talk to a person they hang up on you

I feel just as outraged as Kelly. I received a call from this number today on my cell phone. These calls are costing me daytime minutes on my cell phone and lost time at work. Plus it appears that these telemarketers have access to highly classified information, I never list my cell number, the only way they could've gotten it is though the cellular company or my banking institution and that's scary. It concerns me that someone in these companies may be selling personally identifiable information (PII). I'll file a complaint as well. We'll see what happens. When I did a reverse lookup it identified the caller as: Richcreek, Angela L; 102 Cherry Ln; Dillsburg, PA 17019

This was the third call I received while working today from a warranty about to expire telemarketing company, prerecorded message. This is getting absurd. I am spending so much time at work answering these warranty expiration calls! VERY ANNOYED AT THIS!

I received this call on my cell phone. It was a recording about satellite TV and said to press 1 to get more information. I pressed 1 to get enough information to file a complaint with the FCC. Since it was a telemarketing call to a cell phone the FCC has jurisdiction. Anyway a very loud person came on the phone after a few rings. I was unable to make out her name due to a heavy Southern accent and the loudness of the call. She identified the company she was calling for as Dish Network. Since I was driving in heavy traffic at the time I could not safely play with the caller to get additional information. I just informed her that they had called a cell phone and that I would be filing a complaint with the FCC. I have done that. This is the second FCC complaint that I have filed for telemarketing calls from Dish Network. The last one was about 2 weeks ago. Hope it works at some point.

I'm pretty much posting this everywhere that has this kind of list, so if you see it someplace else, there you go.

I got the call and I just got this fucking phone two weeks ago. To say I am pissed right now is an understatement.

I was getting calls from these guys on my previous cell number and I got it changed because I was so damn tired of their calls.

This time I spoke with someone who told me his name was John Henning (that last name may be spelled incorrectly, but the name is probably a lie), that they are an outbound call center and there fore do not have a physical address for the company that they represent. That is such complete and utter bullshit that I can't fucking believe he had the balls to say it.

All I got was that the company name was Warranty Services and that they are out of Phoenix. When I asked why on earth I would do business with a company that didn't have a physical mailing address, I was (of course) given the run around.

I did, at least, call him an asshole. With any luck, I ruined his day.

Honestly, I thought this was illegal. I was under the impression that if you asked, they had to give you a physical address and working phone number. That they are clearly getting away with this shit makes me fucking furious (if you can't tell that by my egregious use of four letter words...)

I believe I will be contacting the government for real on this. Bad enough that I was getting three calls on my old number, but now this one too?

Computer transferred me to Norma who wouldn't give her last name but wanted to sell auto warranty services. Transferred me to Jason who said he's in St Louis and selling auto warranties for a Redding California-based Warranty Services Company regulated by the California Insurance Commission. He promised to get a quote and ring me back...that was several hours ago and no call. He did give me # 866.925.1783 as his number for me to ring him...haven't tried it. My further research indicates that a Warranty Administration Services Inc. is located in Redding at # (530) 246-8280. Perhaps some of you who are frustrated with these calls would ring the Redding company several hundred times daily... :)

I really wish there was some way to prosecute these assholes. I've been getting them on my home number and now it's on my cell. Why has this become worse lately? More deregulation? Softening of rules regarding telemarketing, etc?

Called my husband's cell earlier, I picked up as I thought it may be his job (although we are on the other side of the country from Pennsylvania, the ID that the phone stated) and the caller disconnected after my greetings. Googled the number as well and located this site.
