Who Called Us

i did not answer.

I just got a call this morning from soemone claiming to be a bank looking for my wife's (of 4 years) exboyfriend. We moved years ago out of state and they were trying to track him down and some how linked him to our new number. They identified themseleves as Bank of America.

Just recieved the call. Answered it and a man said hello twice and hung up on me. I just received this new tele # about 2 mos ago so they could possibly be calling to collect from former owner of #. They did not seem too insistent upon talking to me.

I didn't pickup the call. Called the number back and it goes straight to voicemail. Voicmail was full and said company name as Health Services.

I got home just now and saw this phone number displayed on my caller ID, along with "New York" as the description. They did not leave a message. For phun, I called the number and was routed to an answering machine. The message asked me to leave my full name, account number, and phone number. I always pay my bills on schedule and have done so for 19 years (I checked my credit report last month to verify this); hence, I don't understand who these people are or why they're calling me.

I got a call from this number this morning and I have no idea who it is... they just say that they will call back.

I received a call from this number (716.651.3170). A man named Bart Stark left a v-msg saying he was calling from Bank of America about someone with a different 1st name but my same last name. He asked that I return the call to 866.527.3127x7562). I returned the call and landed at a voice recording saying 'cardmemberservices' but could not get in the xtension he left.

Some weirdo just called me looking for Wayne Morris. I said I didn't know him and he said this is wayne's bank.

I keep receiving calls from a woman at this number asking for "Eric." Before I found this page, I thought it was a personal call to the former holder of my cell ##. The woman does not ID herself as a collection agent, just politely hangs up when I tell her "Eric" no longer has this number. But she keeps calling back. Must not believe me. Still kind of weird to not ID oneself as a collection agent.

I got several calls from this number purporting to be Bank of America. I called Bank of America and local law enforcement. Police said it says every hallmark of a scam. Bank of America said it is undoubtedly a scam, and that I should call the Federal Trade Commission. These jerks at 716-651-3170 told me that I couldn't go to Bank of America to make my payment, nor could I call the number I normally call @ B of A to make my payment over the phone, but I had to call them and them only...This is a scam. Bank of America said Call the FTC. Local police said don't give them ANY info if they call.

unknown caller but caller id read out the number. They were asking about people I don't even know.

This number just called me here at work for the lady I work with. She is on vacation in Florida, and this lady on the phone argued with me as to whether or not she was in the office, finally smarted off and hung up on me.

J P & Sons is area code 718, not 716. This is indeed FIA Card services (servicing Bank of America and MBNA cards) and your credit is in danger if they are calling.

The call from this number is FIA CARD Services. They work for Major credit card companies like Bank of America and MBNA. They are your last stop before you get sent to collection for unpaid debt so I strongly recommend that if they call you pick up or call back because the next step is your credit will go thru the tubes.

I've received calls from this and alternate similar numbers repeatedly on my work phone the past few days. I know they cannot be for me because:

1.) My name is not listed in the company directory and my phone is under the last employee's name who used to work at this desk, and

2.) I have not and never will supply any company or person with my work number, I always give my cell phone.

I received a call from that number aswell what of who is it?

This number keeps calling my cell. It hangs up as soon as I answer but They keep leaving messages for someone named Mary.. Idk a mary

The caller id showed this phone number and 'Lancaster, NY'. I didn't answer because I don't know anyone that lives in New York....(plus I can't stand telemarketers.)

I have received several calls from this number. I do not answer, and they do not leave a message. I know it is Bank of America because they are trying to collect. They use other numbers too.

I just got a call from this number. I did not recognize the number, so did not answer. They did not leave a message. I have no idea how they would have my cell phone number, or who they are.

I just got a call from this number and she left a message from Bank of America. We have no accounts with them, but she says to call immediately to work out my options??

didn't recognize number but answered and voice recoding said i have an important message. then some classical music began to play as they told me to wait for the next rep. i hung up

This is J P & Sons Trucking Inc. Corona, NY. Why they are calling I have no idea. Didn't answer it either.

They did not leave a message.

Just received a phone call from them this morning at like 8:15 - didn't recognize the number so didn't answer

I have repeatedly received calls from this number but I never answer calls from numbers that I don't recognize. I finally searched it on here and see that others have the same problem. I think next time I'll answer.
