I worked for safety services and probably called some of you who posted. All of your stories make me laugh lol

how exactly do people think these most important organizations get their money? magic? i got news for ya sorry asses. pick up your phone every time it rings, id or no. that way you can see who is calling you and for what. you decide who you give to, and hear them out. every one who calls you will drop a call or two, even aunt emma on her damn cell phone. how about compassion and understanding? how about patience. the problem with all of you, is, you are new america. spineless arrogant assholes who think your time is so dam precious if someone calls you for a donation they should burn in hell. cocksuckers like you prank my office every day and that stuff physically costs me thousands every year and you bitch about your dinner gettin interrupted or your half listenin ass getting scared by someone knowing your name? are you completely mad? tell ya what. act like a grown up . if you hate the calls so much, get a cell phone and cut your land line. the federal govt, the state govt, and the fcc and ftc make it possible nonprofits and you cant stop them. it is their right to raise money for the kids programs you fucking morons. oh yeah ,the groups funding would suffer catastrophicaLLY if they could no longer call you fickly whiney bums for your itty bitty donations.

They continually call, always has the number of 715-394-5774 and from Safety Services. I never answer the calls, but finally did tonight. They are soliciting donations from the WI Sheriff's Association. I have entered my telephone number on the Do Not Call registry and even updated it several times, but I still get these calls among other telemarketers. What do they not understand about DO NOT CALL!

Answered phone, id says 715-394-5774 and all I heard was a big laugh then they hung up. I called back and left it ring at least 20 times and received no answer. I'm too old to be getting stupid calls like this, it scares me. Any more of these calls and I will file a complaint with Superior WI telephone company.

We have been getting calls from this number night and day for WEEKS! We are also on the no-call list. Usually when I answer, there is nothing, and it hangs up. This time, they said, "Steve?" and I said, "No." (Do I sound like a man? Not exactly!) He said, "Is he around?" (acting like they are old friends or something) I said, "No, who's calling?" He said, "I'll try back." I began to tell him that we are on the no-call list, but he hung up on me. I searched online for other complaints, and found another number I could call back. (715)394-5770. The person who answered was polite, and said they were soliciting donations. I told him (politely) we weren't interested and would appreciate if the calls stopped. He said he would put us on their own no-call list, so I gave him last name and phone number (they already have it anyway). Will post again if they continue to call!

I called the number, and talked with the sheriffs association rep who said they would be taking me off the list, he also acted like he had never had a problem but wanted to know how I got his number(google). He said I would not receive any more calls, but low and beho0ld, what did i get tonight??? same thing!

I called the WSDSA front desk @ 715-723-7173 and a fellow also answered and took care of it. Pretended not to be aware of the situation, but knew what to do about it. Thanks for all the paste messages, thanks for doing the work I did not have to.

I was getting phone calls - probably 4 times, with annoying hangups. Drove me crazy and with a bit of research, here's what to do. The 715-394-5774/Safety Services solicits donations for WSDSA (WI Sherriffs Deupty Sherriffs Association) wsdsa.org. Call the WSDSA front desk @ 715-723-7173 and ask them to take your name off the list at Safety Services. The guy politely took my number and said he would take care of it right away.

Call 715-394-5770 Back and you DO get an answer, guy answered. I asked for our number to be taken off their list as I am repeatedly getting phone calls from their phone number with no one on the other line, he then asked me what number the calls were coming from, I told him the 715-394-5774, he responded with "Yeah, thats probably us" (duh!). I gave him my last name and phone number to have them take the number off their calling list, hopefully this works!

These people are not only annoying but totally harrassing. There's no way I'd donate to such pain in the rumps. People like this cause total phone rage.

Been getting alot of blocked calls (which I only have blocks on calls from jails, old girlfriend accepted way to many of these that I paid for) and unkown calls in the last month. I just started answering them lately and when I say hello, they don't say anything and just sit there. Today was the Safety Services call and I answered and they just sat there again not saying anything and then they gently hung up.

Same as the others, got the answering machine and left no message. Something needs to be done!!!

Same as all the other reports. They called and hung up just stating my last name. I recently made my number unlisted so this REALLY irks me.

I don't understand why they are calling but they do everyday at my work number asking for my boss. He would be so upset if I gave him the phone he would probably break it. I asked them to take me off the list and they said they couldn't b/c we were in the Yellow Pages. What the hell does that mean. Never paid to be in any yellow pages.

They called again yesterday and hung up when my wife answered the phone. I immediately called back and of course, got no answer. So I called them at 715-394-5770 and they answered. I asked them who Safety Services is. It's a group making calls for the Wisconsin Sheriffs & Deputy Sheriffs Association, soliciting donations for their annual school essay contest that they sponsor. I donated money back in April. I went and found the original letter I received from WSDSA. It states that WSDSA retained the "professional" services of Safety Services, LLC along with Community Safety, LLC and Safety Awareness, Inc. to do the fundraising. "Professional" my ass.

I asked why they couldn't simply tell my wife what they wanted. I got some lame explanation for that. They are definitely trying to speak only to the household member that gave them money or who would be most likely to give them money. That's probably a good call on their part, because knowing my wife she would have just said we're not interested. However, had they been up front with her and told her that I had donated earlier in the year, I might have been more likely to donate again; it's for a good cause.

They hung up on my wife enough times that there's no way I'm ever donating again. Anyway, you can go to wsdsa.org and go to the officers directory. My letter from WSDSA came from the executive director. If I get any more calls I might contact him and ask him to take action on this. WSDSA can not expect to raise any money when they retain nasty fundraisers like this one.

Is there a way to make them stop. It is really getting sickening. HOW DID THEY GET OUR NUMBER????

(715) 394-5770. Similar phone number, probably in the same office. No answer at this number either. In Wisconsin, LLCs are registered at:
revenue.wi.gov.

Select "Limited Liability Company Registration" and you can do a CRIS search for "Safety Services". The report comes back stating that the company is delinquent, which probably just means it has not filed its annual report which is required for LLCs in Wisconsin. Best of all, it provides the name and address of the registered agent. Perhaps the registered agent can explain why Safety Services is using telephone terror tactics.

My number is listed in the Sheboygan phone book as "T Brown" When I said "hello" caller asked for "Mr Brown" I asked "Who is calling please?" and the young male voice said "This is Jesse, [pause] This *is* Mr Brown?" I asked "Who do you represent?" He said "Mr Brown? Mr Brown? and hung up.

I have had my home phone number for 2 years now....for the past two years now I continuously receive calls from them looking for the previous number holders. We advise that they don't have the number anymore and they hang up! How do we make them stop harassing us???!

They Called and Nearly Scared my Father half to death!! On the Caller ID it said "Safety Services" so he thought something happend to me! What is WITH these freaking people?!?!?!

They call incessantly. Three or four nights per week. I've asked them to stop calling, yet the calls persist.
