How do I stop them from calling?
- Ask the unwanted caller to stop calling and put you on their do not call list (they are legally required to comply).
- If your number is registered with the National Do Not Call Registry you can file a complaint with the
FTC. - Block them with a call blocker:
Uniden DECT1288 blocks up to 20 numbers, plus Private and Unknown, with the reject tone, without ringing the phone.
Panasonic KX-TG106 blocks up to 30 numbers, plus all unidentified callers, with a busy tone, after the phone rings once.
JF Teck Caller ID with Ring Controller blocks up to 70 numbers, and can be set to always allow up to 100 to ring through.

Receive calls everyday at least 2 to 3 times and they never leave a message. I just ignore them at this point.

Report to FCC, 1-888-225-5322. Go to the FCC website for more info. And call Att'y. Gen. in your state. This outfit is breaking the law and can be fined. It's HSBC bank calling me, but the co., calling is in

they call everyday and do not leave a message. They have called at night at bedtime as well. Very rude.

Asked for my roomate. Person was very breif and didn't want to leave a message. I dialed the number back and number came up disconnected.
Call repeatedly day and night even after I've told them to stop.
IF THIS COMPANY IS CALLING IN REGARDS TO HSBC - I WOULD HOPE THAT HSBC KNOWS THIS - BECAUSE IT IS GIVING THEM A BAD, BAD REPUTATION!!!
They call almost every day. Sometimes 2 and 3 times in a day. Never leaves any message. Hangs up when I do answer. Grr.. Nasty Nuisance
Daily phone calls from this number - sometime 2-3 times a day. No one is there when I answer. When I called the number from caller id all I get is "this number is dosconnected" - How can a disconnected number be calling me? Caller ID says "Iowa Call". Contacted my phone company and they too get that it is a diconnected number and no record of who may have had at one time. Only recourse I have been told is to pay $10 month to my phone company to block this number from calling or to file a police report and compaint with something called Annoyance Calls Buereau.
Calls every day about 6 p.m. Tne person is rude.

They don't leave a message but, they go hello, hello like they expect the answering machine to talk back. Then they hang-up.Sometime I pickup on the first ring then hang up on them.

Calls every day or so for the past few months. Always asks for Greg. I've explained more than 30 times that there is no Greg here and asked that they remove my number from their system. Sometimes they hang up, sometimes they make rude remarks, sometimes they promise to remove my number but it hasn't happened yet (after 20 or 30 requests).

Some FOB who couldn't speak english. I was being polite telling him my mother wasn't home. Then he asks how old I am because I sound young. I tell him I'm 20. Then he threatens that he'll be at my house after I keep telling him to just call in the afternoon. I ask him why he says... "You'll see..."
They call everyday right before bedtime. There are a lot of people in the background making noise. It might be a party. Either way they always ask for someone who doesn't live where we do. Whoever they are they must love bothering people!
